Posted hours are not correct, no matter what the signs in the window say. They close at 2:40 or 2:45 every day, not 3:00. Twice I have come to eat here and been disappointed. If a business posts hours, they should honor them. I will be submitting a change to the hours on the entry. If you can get in, the food is pretty good - been here several times, enjoyed it. Lunch was great. Had the spicey eggplant with shrimp and the mango sticky rice that I've always wanted to try. Both were excellent. They ask 1 to 4 how spicey you want it, 4 being the spiciest. I got 4 and it was spicey. Didn't run out of water but still plenty of kick. The eggplant was fantastic. The mango sticky rice is just outstanding. I had never had it but always wanted to try. Glad I did. It's like a slightly sweet warm rice pudding with chunks of mango. I will order it every time I go now for sure. read more

My colleagues and I came in for lunch, and this place was almost packed. There's an open kitchen so we could smell the food as we entered. Having seated, we were immediately served our drinks. The waiting staff seemed welcoming and friendly too. The menu is extensive with sushi rolls, thai curries, fried rice, noodles and lunch specials. We ordered a vegetable dumpling as our appetizer, and I got the Drunken noodle with Shrimp. The dumpling was okay, just okay. The drunken noodle was average too. Now, even if it's not expensive at 9$, they do charge $2 for shrimp. TWO DOLLARS. And what I got in return, were maybe 4 medium sized shrimps, not even jumbo. They forgot one of my colleague's order, and didn't notice until called upon. They did apologize multiple times, and I guess gave it for free. This was good on their part. And I guess this is an off case. However, I expected a lil better tasting food. Everything would have been okay if it had satisfied my taste buds and cravings. Maybe it's what I ordered. Really enjoyed the carryout we got from Thai Spicy last week. For our family of four we ordered two orders (two large rolls per order) of spring rolls, Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice and Thai Spicy Chicken. All of the food was very good and we had some leftovers for lunch the next day. This was the first time our 14 and 10 year old girls had Thai and they really liked it. One of the worst Thai meals we've eaten. Rad Na was underwhelming with 3-4 tiny thin shriveled beef strips in the entire dish (you have to pay additional for any added protein BTW); wife had Pad Thai (one of her favorite dishes), which had a horrible off-flavor, and was completely overcooked and gummy; chicken satay (skewered chicken mini-strips) was dry as leather and virtually no flavor; and Spring Rolls also mediocre. We threw out the entire $50.00 carryout meal after 5 minutes of sampling, having eaten maybe 10% of it. To make matters worse, we drove 20 minutes there (that's right, one way) after being told it would be ready in 15-20, yet had to wait another 15 minutes in the parking lot for the preparation of our meal, thereby making our trip 55-60 minutes and then tossing the food. All this on a Sunday afternoon with 4-5 people in the restaurant.... We called the owner and his reply was, everybody loves our food. Offered to credit the meal only if we brought the food back to him immediately or brought in photos. I had proposed a credit of half the bill and told him it was a 45 minute round trip affair to do that. We didn't get a resolution, but we simply won't go back. I'm glad other Yelpers experiences have been much better, because ours could not have been much worse. read more

Woo Hoo! Excellent Thai food on the north side of Cincinnati. But staff inattention cost'm two stars. Sigh. The satay and dumpling appetizers are outstanding. The crispy Pad Thai with extra pork was a very generous serving and I will order it again. Spice level is always a gamble at a new-to-me. Thai Spicy's "medium" is not much heat. Waiter forgot silverware/chopsticks (minus 1-star). Sigh. Also; he never wore his mask; rather, it dangled off his right ear the entire time I was waiting for my take-out order. We decided to stop by for dinner since it's close to our hotel and the reviews on Yelp are great. All tables (except those purposely left empty) were occupied. The food was actually not bad. However, we're pretty disappointed with the staff's/servers' face covering practice. We observed what the other Yelpers observed regarding improper face covering. The waiter had his mask dangling from his ear most of the time. The staff who was packing take-out food did not wear a mask or a face shield (!), she only wore a face shield when she brought food to the table. I order the Basil Spicy Fried Rice. I waited over 25 minutes for my food. 4 tables of 2 plus people came after me and they all got serve before me. I was told twice that my food is coming and after everybody in the restaurant got serve with their food my order came out last. I waited 25 minutes plus for my food and I was not happy. My suggestion to this restaurant is getting more servers to manage the tables. They had one server taking orders, cleaning tables and serving the food. On top of all this the same server was also answering the phone and dealing with pick up orders. One person can't manage all these responsibilities. First of all, food is okay. For that I gave 2 stars instead of one. What really bothered me is we waited 10 minutes to have someone come and take the order, 20 minutes to get our water, 20 minutes to get the appetizer, and finally another 20 minutes to get the food. The first time I did carry out we got about 6 different dishes to try, all of them were excellent.
