Food was ok, but not anything like any Thai I've ever had elsewhere all over the US and Europe. Everything had curry in it, and yes I know some Thai food has curry and I like curry, but not everything and not to the amount they used. DIshes that should have been sweet and moist were dry and bland with heavy curry flavors. Maybe there are some Thai staff in the back but I never saw any, just white people working out front. Still it was not bad, just not good or worth ordering again to me and certainly not worth the high prices. Our dinner for four with no drinks was over $150.00 But it only goes downhill from there. Their website is not up to date and the prices don't match what they are in the restaurant. And many items listed were not available. After I had placed my order in person and having waited about 30 minutes already one of the guys comes out and tells me they ran out of noodles! How does a Thai restaurant who just opened at 5 PM run out of noodles and not know it for 30 minutes which was only 5:30 at this point in my wait? Thats just really bad management and bad customer service training. They don't answer the phone to place an order until after 5PM so you can't place an order and expect to go get it in 30 min. SInce they would not pick up the phone I drove over to order. Then waited an hour for my food! Last, the staff were rude and dismissive. They first ignored me for a long time, then gave me a lot of negativity with rude comments when taking the order. I think I stood there all told for 15 minutes before I could get the attention of either staff member to take my order at the counter. The two people I saw came out several times, checked their cell phones, talked with some friends who were hanging out and not ordering, then eventually tore themselves away to come be rude to me and take my order. We won't be returning, there are many Thai options in the area, I certainly won't waste my money on this one again.

Nicely executed salad but mediocre in the flavor department. I don't think there was any mint, fish sauce was under utilized and meat had its tough moments. Cilantro was well positioned for flavor. I ordered a #3 in spicey which I think was brought on by Italian pepper flakes. Better if cayenne was used or gochchannhg. The iceberg lettuce was crisp and fresh. Instead of shallots, red onions were used. There were some carrot slivers but hardly noticeable. I don't think I'd order this again. Service was excellent.

This spot is in a small strip mall in the heart of the booming Mason Montgomery area. If you did not know it was here you might miss it. The inside is cozy and nice. The waiter who greeted me was very helpful. I had placed my order ahead online for take out and it was ready at the time promised. There is plenty of parking in a large shared lot. For starters I was dying to try their seasonal sweet mango sushi roll. At the heart of mango season, this was super fresh and delicious. A must try! Next I got the Green papaya salad. The flavor was great with a nice spicy kick. I loved the crunchiness of the veggies combined with the lettuce. For my main course I got the chicken pad thai. This fell a little short for me. The flavor was kind of flat, not much there. For dessert I got the mango sticky rice which was great. All ingredients were fresh. The prices seemed a little high comparatively and in regards to the portions.

Good evening, fellow Yelpers! It's one of your favorite critics with another spectacular find! Thai Spicy of Deerfield Ohio. Before settling on this spot, I reviewed the competition, lol. When I entered the building, there were only 5 people (4 already eating, and 1 deciding on what she wanted). I didn't wait to be seated (it was going to be a carry out/take out order anyway) and strolled right up to the counter (it honestly looked like the ONLY logical place to make a to-go order). The hostess was friendly and informed me that the waitress would be with me shortly. As I scanned the extensive menu, I remembered "Pineapple Fried Rice" from the reviews earlier, so I ordered it with chicken & shrimp. I also ordered the crab rangoons and the mango sticky rice. I was told it would take like 15-20 minutes for my order to be ready, I acknowledged that it was fine. I was offered water or another beverage while i waited. The sentiment was nostaligic, but i declined nevertheless. Another customer who placed a "pick-up" order came to the same counter that i did (told y'all, I had a feeling I was right) and received her order. It smelled delicious, to say the least. I refrained from asking her what she ordered, didn't want to offend, or pry into the life of a stranger. My food arrived in less than the time i was originally told, very pleased with that. When I tell y'all everything was "On Point," that's an understatement. I am so happy I decided to go there! I can't speak on anyone else's experience, but mine was top-tier service! The food 10/10. The Mango Sticky Rice you keep hearing about, try it, you won't regret it! If you're from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, you probably already know, but if you're not and you have a taste for Thai food, this is it!!!!!!! Hope you enjoy your experience & food as much as I did!

Super solid 4. If half stars were an option, I'd consider giving the half! After two visits and trying spring rolls, egg rolls, Tom kha soup, papaya salad, pad Thai, basil fried rice, massaman curry, and Thai tea we're happy to say we've found our go-to Thai place. Everything was full of flavor and tasty. Portions were very large. Our first visit was for dinner was shortly after they opened and the food came out pretty slow. Our second visit for dinner was some time later (less busy) and it seemed either being less busy or having been open for some time made the food cadence much better. The spice levels between our two visits were inconsistent, but again I think that had to do with adjusting their spiciness to the typical clientele expectation- we like spicy and the first visit was a good amount of Thai spice matching exactly what we were looking for, at our second visit, we noticed the spice was toned down a bit. Love the food here, quite authentic Thai. This place is quite close to my home and I visit it often. My fav are green rolls - they are veg sushi rolls with avocado. We have also ordered green curry, red curry and chicken pad thai here. Be Cinderella with spice levels for pad thai. It can be real spicy! read more

It's are local favorite! We have ventured out to other recommendations and nothing compares. Tonight I tried Massaman Curry with chicken and it was amazing. We also got Cashew Nut with chicken which is a must have every time we come. Again delicious! You might have to wait but the food is fresh, delicious and never disappoints! My husband and I moved to the Mason area in October and took our first week to try a few restaurants in the area. Thai Spicy is easily our favorite and we order there almost once a week. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is also soooo good; it feels like comfort food. The best part is that it's ACTUALLY spicy! I hate ordering a 4 or 5/5 and getting a 2 and that never happens with Thai Spicy. Our favorite dish is the pineapple fried rice but we also enjoy the papaya salad, gyoza, and Panang curry. read more

The kitchen was sooooooo slooooooow! We waited 45minutes for the food when the restaurant wasn't that busy. There were 3 servers, they were not necessarily busy as the kitchen was incredibly slow. Decided to stop in after driving by and seeing the sign. Really happy I did! What a great restaurant! We ordered Thai iced tea, sushi, a couple of entrees, and mango sticky rice-the food was excellent! Our waiter's name was Nate. He was awesome! Really nice, patient, and seemed to genuinely be happy to help answer questions and offer options. Can't say enough about our experience. Will definitely be back! read more

We thought the food we took out the other night was horrible! We ordered the chicken fried rice, the pad thai with chicken, and the green curry. On advice of the woman who took our order, we ordered a medium spice level. Basically, none of it had any flavor at all, and the fried rice tasted burnt. The green curry was so watery that the container was still full after we finished the scant chicken and vegetables in the sauce. The pad thai was so tasteless that I could not even eat it. We definitely will NOT be back. I am puzzled at our experience since the reviews are so outstanding, It was expensive too - we were disappointed. read more

Thai Spicy is the best Thai restaurant in the city! I am not even kidding! I have never been to Thailand so I don't know what authentic Thai food taste like but this restaurant got me addicted to its soooper delicious food. The spice level is always on point (I love spicy food) and the portions are really big! I have tried almost all vegetarian food on the menu and they are very accommodating to dietary requests. My favorite is the Pad thai (its bomb ), Spicy Basil Fried rice (yumm), Fresh Ginger, Spicy Eggplant and Hot Basil ! 10/10 a must try!! read more

If you like fresh, authentic, delicious sushi and Thai food, this place is a must! It's hidden in a small strip mall but don't let that fool you. The red devil roll is great, the rainbow roll is great, and I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. The crab Rangoon is my favorite appetizer. read more

Thai Spicy is one of my favorite spots to grab food. The flavor is spot on. The crab ragoon is the best I have ever had. This place is definitely worth checking out. The staff is amazing. I can not say enough about this place. It can be spicy so please keep that in mind. I like level three or four out of four spicy here. I can describe the spice levels like this 0= what spice, 1=Meh ok I taste the peppers. 2=Ok that is a nice mouth feel, definately taste the peppers here. 3= I'm sweating a bit and my mouth is tingling but in a nice way. 4= Hand me two glasses of water and a Thai tea my mouth is burning, still tasty but for sure it burns. Lips will become red and you will sweat it out. read more

We ordered on-line for takeout. We had Green Curry w/chicken and Massaman Curry w/beef. We ordered at spice level 2, which was fine, but probably could have ordered at level 3 without being overwhelmed by spicy heat. The flavors are as good as you will find in the Cincinnati area and are very authentic. We lived in Bangkok for five years, so we know good Thai food. We say to the Thai Spicy team, the food was "aroi dee maak maak!" The spring rolls and the sushi rolls were also very good. Give Thai Spicy a try! read more

Best crab rangoons I've ever had in my life! The chicken satay was amazing as well. I also ordered the crab fried rice and thought that was pretty tasty. Just tried this tonight for the first time. It was very good! We got the wok spicy eggplant. Excellent choice. We also got the Pad Thai crispy noodles. My husband and I split the two meals and they were very good mixed together. I highly recommend this place. read more

I cannot say what the food was like because, for the first time in my life, I walked out. The server took a moment to greet us, but then he did everything but get our drink order. We had been in the restaurant for 15 mins without him doing anything more than seating us. He answered his own cell phone, he answered the work phone, he got water for a table with glasses 3/4 of the way full, he took care of two other tables..... but not one word. And it wasn't like he was busily running around. I just couldn't take anymore and found a restaurant down the street. Sad because I was absolutely in the mood for Thai! ‍ read more

Thai Spicy is the place that makes you feel stupid for ever eating anything other than it. The food slaps everything else I've ever tasted out of the park. It's a hole in the wall and a gem at that. It's a tiny place but the flavor is bussin. Me and my fiancé have been on a hunt for the best Pad Thai in the Cincinnati area for a year now and after trying 8 different places Thai Spicy has the best by a landslide. The pad thai, thai fried rice, and sushi are phenomenal. We are so glad we found this place and that it's so close to home. read more

It's located in a strip mall next to Kroger. It's a smallish restaurant that has six 4+ top tables and a sushi bar. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a nice woman who was also our waitress and prepared food. Our salads and soup arrived first and then almost everything arrived at once, hot and fresh! The crab Rangoon had been mentioned in previous reviews and I'm so glad we tried it. It's on the sweeter side but filling is very creamy with pieces of imitation crab. I'd recommend them both. Finally onto the rolls - my daughter loved her California tempura roll - packed with traditional California roll filling and perfectly fried. My spicy tuna roll was extremely delicious, a little spicy and packed with flavor. Our total was $45, but we had a really great and extremely filling meal. I'd highly recommend dining in or ordering togo. Service was excellent and our waitress was so nice. One last detail, they have wooden chairs with smiley faces cut out.

Coming from someone who lives in Southern California where there is literally a great Thai spot on every corner, this place is amazing!!! Came here for a family dinner while visiting Cincinnati and everything we tried was so fresh and yummy. The owners are all so sweet and attentive and you can tell they put time and care into the food. I was even told the cook smashes the chicken breast to order for the lettuce wraps. Like what?? Super sweet staff. The pad thai beat my ALL TIME FAVORITE Thai restaurant here in Cali. Best crab Rangoon I've literally ever tasted. Y'all are lucky to have a spot like this in mason! read more

My daughter insisted I try this place with her tonight and it was totally everything she hyped it up to be! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We tried almost everything on the menu. The amazing food was made even better because the service we received was top notch. Nate was so helpful suggesting menu items and he did not let us down. Made my mouth so happy!! The restaurant really works as a team and I can't urge you enough to give this place a try. Try the sweet and sour chicken, mango curry, and papaya salad! Prices are good, portions are huge.
