We keep coming back here! My favorite Pad Thai yet but there Pineapple Fried Rice was delicious! I can't wait to come again to just get that. All so flavorful. If you haven't checked it out, IT'S A MUST! A hidden gem

    Pad Thai with Chicken

Our son was in a soccer tournament nearby, and we wanted to find a place for dinner that would be both good and not overly crowded on a Froday night. Thai Taste fit the bill. It doesn't look like much from the outside (it's part of a little shopping strip), but the inside is nice and clean. The staff is also friendly and the service fairly quick. I also liked that they had a decent adult-beverage menu, which included wines that are not dry. I enjoyed a glass of Moscato. We started off with an order of Crab Rangoon, which was absolutely delicious and sinful. For my meal, I ordered Pad Thai with Chicken. My husband ordered Thai-Fried Rice with extra meat. (Three different meats in fact.) My Pad Thai was very good and full of flavor. Honestly, it was one of the best Pad Thai dishes I've ever had. However, some of the meat was not not particularly tender, which is why I'm giving my review 4 stars instead of 5. (My husband had the same criticism of his fried rice.) If the meat was perfectly tender, this would have definitely been a 5-star review. While I'm not a sushi connoisseur, it's worth mentioning that Thai Taste does offer a sushi menu. The table next to us ordered a couple of sushi dishes and they looked pretty good. Regardless of what you order, your money will go a long way. The portion sizes are huge! I recommend that you stop in and give Thai Taste a try. Bon appetit!

Ahoy, fellow food adventurer! So, I set sail to Thai Taste on a quest for the ultimate pad Thai, and boy, was it an expedition! Now, with more Thai restaurants in town than I have fingers and toes, you've got to sparkle like a disco ball at a '70s party. Thai Taste? Well, they might be more like a shy glow stick. The pad Thai, matey, was just okay, like a pirate who's forgotten where they buried the treasure. It didn't make me want to do a happy dance, but it also didn't make me walk the plank. It was somewhere in the culinary doldrums. Now, I don't want to be a Debbie Downer of the Seven Seas, but when you're surrounded by Thai food titans, you've got to summon your inner flavor buccaneer and sail into uncharted waters. Thai Taste, you're a good sailor, but you're not swashbuckling with the best.In summary, Thai Taste won't make you sing "Yo-ho-ho!" from the mountaintops, but it won't make you cry "Davy Jones' locker" either. It's a safe harbor for a decent meal, but I'll be setting sail for new gastronomic horizons soon. Arrr, adventure awaits! ‍

Messy work table and empty sushi station

A little wary of eating here with the lower ratings, but the food was really good! Server was very sweet. I got pork Pad See We, husband's got Chicken Basil Fried Rice. Thai tea was delicious as well. Only issue is no one else was here. Dining room still has Christmas decorations up. No one was manning the cluttered sushi area and having a messy work table is not very attractive. Will return for the food, probably carryout. And even though sushi isn't Thai, I won't try it, with the way that station looked

Don't let the emptiness of this restaurant stop you. What a gem! Delicious! I was told about this place several years ago and never stopped in. That was a Mistake, I wish I would have stopped a long time ago. I will be back, guaranteed!

Thai Taste 4th of July sushi roll

Another good meal starting with an appetizer I'd spring rolls the moving into two BIG sushi rolls. My wife had a 4th of July roll and I tried the Bengal Roll (see photos) for the first time. It's smoked salmon, caviar, cream cheese, asparagus, hot peppers, seaweed, and spicy sauce was precisely what I craved.

Definitely one of the best Thai places we've been to in a long time. They also do sushi, Chinese and Vietnamese, although we can't vouch for their quality as we've stuck to the Thai menu. I highly suggest the Lava Fried Rice, Pad Thai and Curry Puffs.

The BEST Thai in the West Chester/ Mason Area! Service is great, the food is awesome. I will recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat.

Possibly the worst Asian food I've had in the area. Absolutely no flavor and poor cooking on the protein and vegetables.

Last couple of times when we were in town, the old chefs were back. Food quality back but cleanliness (and at times service) need some work.

Some of the best Thai food I've had between here & Cali (disclaimer: never been to Thailand!). I took my cousin here while she was visiting from Cali last summer and we loved it. I think she had the red curry and I had the eggplant. I didn't try hers but the eggplant made my eyes roll into the back of my head. + Nam tok: Never have I ever had a place give me so much beef in this. It's like an entire steak. Really amazing flavor on this too. It punched me in the face in a good way! Makes me question the other nam toks I've had before! + Pad see ew: Serious wok hei on this and other pad see ew I have had around here doesn't come close. Wow. + Eggplant: Tender tofu and masterful technique on the eggplant. + Tom kha: Vegetal and punchy. Next time I should get it less spicy so that the acid is the star. + Pineapple rice: Wow, indescribably good. There's so much depth of flavor and smokiness. The curry powder tastes freshly ground & bloomed. This dish transcends itself... I don't know who's cooking here but man I wish I could learn from them. This person is a true expert & incredibly inspiring. Such impressive and delicious food. It's truly worth going out of your way to eat at Thai Lom!

They have a big menu but I wanted to try their Pad Thai with Chicken ($11.38). Beef or shrimp cost a little more. The place had one waitress and she was very efficient. There were only 8 others in the place so service was quick. Considering the amount of food I was served and the price, I would say it was a very good value. Limited beer and wine selection plus soft drinks. Free parking in the mall lot. I ordered a 4 out of 5 spiciness and it came out more like a 2 but that was their only fault. I will be going back to try some other dishes.

Never lets me down…read more... I've been here several times. And, as a creature of habit, I can give certain restaurants great, yet boring, reviews. Udon Thai and Sushi is one of those places. I am, by fault, a go with what you know patron. If I go to a restaurant, find something that I like, I never need the menu again. Many have labeled me as boring because of this, but it's just how I'm wired. See, I label restaurants as "this place" or "that place". Example - Udon is my "spicy beef basil" place. The first time I came in, I ordered the Beef Basil dish, it was perfect and I never needed the menu again. What is the Beef Basil dish? Great question, nobody. Let me explain. First off, it's called something else on the menu. And, since I don't know what that is, we'll call it.... "Beef Basil". It's a vegetable and beef stir fry dish, seasoned with basil and other spices. They ask you for a spice level of mild, medium or hot. I'm a medium-hot to hot guy. I always say this and they always get it right. It is served with white rice. Wandering away from the entree menu, I have tried both their fried Chicken Gyoza's as well as their Crab Rangoon. Both I have enjoyed very much. Would I go back? Well, every time I want Beef Basil, yes, I do go back and will continue to do so. The service has always been spectacular. It's kept to a minimum as there aren't a lot of tables. You'll notice quite a few delivery pick-ups during your meal, so they do stay quite busy. But the servers at Udon have always gone above and beyond to make sure you have a very nice dinner. Udon is one of those places that doesn't rely on flashy fancy distractions. It's clean, nice and simple. Their foundation of great service and great food really is what keeps me coming back. I know what I'm going to get every time and I always enjoy myself. I'm not "Frankie Five-star". I don't give that fifth star out easily. Udon gets that 5 star because they focus on making the customer happy without a bunch of distractions or fluff. Three people with entrees, a couple of appetizers and soft drinks comes to about $75, before tip. It's not the cheapest place around but not the most expensive either. It's good. So treat yourself to some goodness.

I've never had Thai and was very apprehensive but quickly agreed since she was enthusiastic about going. I only ordered the crab Rangoon, which is always my go to if it's available. Let me start by saying, I've had a lot of crab Rangoon in my lifetime and those were definitely in my top two. Wow! I liked them so much, I ordered more as my meal. My friend ordered the Khua Kling which is a chicken and rice dish. I'm not a fan of hot (spicy) food hence my apprehension for this eatery however, she wanted me to taste the chicken and it was quite delicious. As far as spiciness was concerned, she ordered it to be 3 on their scale of 1-5 with 5 being the spiciest. I had a small bite and the flavor profile was full and robust and I did not feel any heat, initially. After a few seconds, the heat worked its was onto my palette but it was not too much. Granted, others who are used to and/or love spicy food may think it's mild but for a novice like myself, I felt it. Again, I want to emphasize, the flavor was very heavy bodied and I do look forward to visiting again and expanding my Thai food experiences. So if you're in the mood for freshly prepared Thai cuisine, Numprik Thai Lao is a sure bet.
