This place is a sleeper. You can actually order a spice level. Number 3 here. Service is always on point, food is excellent, best in the area as far as I'm concerned. Inside is small but comfortable. I bet they do as big of a carry out business as they do sit down. If you've not been it's worth a try read more

Carry out only: easy parking behind the building for pick up. service was not super friendly but it didn't matter since it was carry out. Very small place so i'm not sure we'd ever eat inside anyways. Pineapple fried rice was very good. Probably the best we've had in the area. (we added both chicken and beef) Pad se ewe with chicken was delicious. Lots of sauce and chicken. The eggrolls were ok, kinda soggy. (For me, it's hard to beat Oriental Wok egg rolls anyways) The son in law eggs were super chewy and i would not order those again (this was something i had never tried before). The fried wontons were tasty. We will order again and try some other things. I think the mains were the winners here, and the apps were just ok. I love that you can request no fish sauce! read more

The place is small but appeared clean. This must be family owned/ran so service was prompt. The food was delicious and I am glad I went with level 3 spice. The restaurant is out of the way for us so we made a special trip to try it out. If in the area we definitely would eat there again. read more

Awesome food, always fresh, very authentic! Love the new bakery too! Have never been disappointed at this little place. A nice variety on the menu, something for everyone and you can choose your spice level :) read more

Please don't equate the size of this establishment to the flavor of their food!! I had a lunch date with a friend who said she loves Thai food and has been wanting to try this restaurant. I've never had Thai and was very apprehensive but quickly agreed since she was enthusiastic about going. I only ordered the crab Rangoon, which is always my go to if it's available. Let me start by saying, I've had a lot of crab Rangoon in my lifetime and those were definitely in my top two. Wow! I liked them so much, I ordered more as my meal. My friend ordered the Khua Kling which is a chicken and rice dish. I'm not a fan of hot (spicy) food hence my apprehension for this eatery however, she wanted me to taste the chicken and it was quite delicious. As far as spiciness was concerned, she ordered it to be 3 on their scale of 1-5 with 5 being the spiciest. I had a small bite and the flavor profile was full and robust and I did not feel any heat, initially. After a few seconds, the heat worked its was onto my palette but it was not too much. Granted, others who are used to and/or love spicy food may think it's mild but for a novice like myself, I felt it. Again, I want to emphasize, the flavor was very heavy bodied and I do look forward to visiting again and expanding my Thai food experiences. So if you're in the mood for freshly prepared Thai cuisine, Numprik Thai Lao is a sure bet. read more

We were seated quickly and luckily got the last available table. The previous reviews were definitely accurate, it's easy to overlook from the outside and the restaurant itself is pretty small, but the food was absolutely worth it. read more

The food has always been amazing, but over the last year the service has got more and more pushy. We came at 12:40, the wait staff wanted us to order just as we sat down. Luckily we knew what we wanted. Drinks have no refills but we couldn't have water refills? Ok. Then shortly after we got our food, we got our check. It's 1:12 and 30 seconds after we got the check (literally) we were asked for payment and pushed for 20% tip. We used to come twice a week. We backed off to weekly. This happened similarly back in march so we took a break... this is the second time. We will not be back. For a $50 lunch, we should at least have a water refill and not be shoved out the door worse than McDonald's. read more

Pad Thai is one of the best around. I love that they have several spice levels to choose from. I do not like spicy food and can skip the spice all together. read more

I absolutely loved this gem of a restaurant. I have been on the hunt for the best drunken noodles, and this place climbed to my number 1 spot. We also had the chicken wings as an appetizer. The crispiness, seasoning, and spice were perfection. The man waiting on people was friendly and fun. I can't wait to go back to explore the menu more. read more

I really wanted to like it here. Honestly... the menu is impressive and the food tasted really good but at the end when we got our check I realized... $15.95 for noodles was the basic price and if you get it with meat it's additional. That's actually my fault 100% for not paying attention. $21 for a beef drunken noodle would be fine if the portion was decent but it's not. There was very little beef. Most noodles. My husband got a Thai Spicy which had good flavor but again.... Small portion. The fact the rice came on the plate told me it was not in fact a dinner portion. The atmosphere was very nice and everything seemed clean. Service was dry but not bad. read more

Came here for dinner on my down to the airport. Nice little stop. There is a small parking lot outside. Quaint little restaurant. The workers were all friendly and attentive. We all ordered a cup of tea. The tea glasses were much bigger than we expect. Very relaxing. The menu has many typical Thai dishes. We ordered a couple appetizers which were yummy. I ordered a basil dish for my entree. The ingredients felt fresh but I wish there was a little more basil flavor. The portions were an okay size, I wish they were bigger for the price. Overall we had a lovely dining experience. read more

Yo solo puedo decir que es el mejor restaurante que yo. He ido aquí en cincinati.

You'll have to go a lo-o-ong way to beat this spot. I've eaten Thai food for decades, and this little treasure is one of the best. There's no doubt about the freshness about what you're being served. Everything is cooked to order with home-grown vegetables and served with a smile. The pungent aromas of my lady's Massaman and my red curry hit our noses as the food arrived. And hotness levels were exactly as ordered. Making this place even more special is the presence of Northern Thai dishes on the menu -- something I've never seen before in the U.S. read more

The place looks very clean. The bathroom is a little outdated but well maintained and clean. The staff was clean and friendly. If you like Spicy foods the heat levels on some of the meals go from 5 to 25. I ordered the orange chicken at a level 3 because I've become a sissy with the spice levels. It was tasty. The color threw me off at first because it didn't match the normal orange chicken I've had else where's, but it tasted very good. Wife had the Spicy Thai Noodles at a level 5 because she can handle the spicy stuff. She said she enjoyed it also. The restaurant is in a large white building that sits directly across the street from the City of Monroe building. Signage for the place is small and hard to see. I would recommend the place and will come back. read more

My family and I have been here a handful of times and the food is always delicious! Not a ton of seating inside and definitely better if you have smaller groups of people. However the service is always great. The owners and staff are nice and always serve delicious food. Some of our favorite dishes are the drunken noodles, green and red curry, papaya salad and basil fried rice. They can replace the fish sauce with a vegan/vegetarian friendly version which is nice if you don't eat meat. The papaya salad is probably my family's favorite dish -- so good! We typically go for a spice level of 4 and it has the perfect kick for us (we like spicy food). Definitely recommend visiting if you want delicious Thai food! read more

This place is great, and in an unexpected place (downtown Monroe) for good Thai food. A broad selection of menu items paired with a spice level that goes from 1-5, or if you're feeling saucy, up to 25! They were doing a brisk lunch business when I visited on a weekday. Very tasty Tom Kha and green curry! read more

Great Thai food! Great family run restaurant!!! The Pad Thai, Red Curry, and Pho are all a must try!

The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. This is my favorite restaurant in town.

Great food! I can't speak to the service or ambiance because we've only had carry out, but it was delish!

This is an amazing Thai place. Run by a family and I'm glad we went here. The place is small (6tables and a small bar), but the flavors are amazing. The staff are very friendly and polite. We got 1. Pot Stickers (5/5) Nice flavor and the sauce was a perfect pairing. 2. Cha Su Bun was good. 3. Pad Cha (5/5)-This was recommended by the staff. The highlight of our meal. This is a fish dish (I am not a big fan) but damn, the flavor, the crunchy fried fish. The fish was moist and crunchy outside. I would get this item all the time. A great local place to visit. read more

Heard about this place from my daughter decided to try it. GPS will take you there but sort of hard to find not much signage. Sort of small eating are but there were lots of carry out orders being placed. The food was very good. I had Thai spicy with the level 3 it was pretty spicy but good. I also had the egg rolls. I didn't care for them, they seemed like they were the frozen kind. Not sure. I wish they were closer I would go often. read more

I've been eating at Numprik for years & it's by far the best Thai I've had to date. I've started to really explore different items on the menu & haven't been disappointed thus far. Today I tried the beef pho & papaya salad. I was hesitant to try the pho after having tried it somewhere else with disappointment but I was determined to like it after watching Anthony Bourdain on no reservations love it time & again. It was incredible as was the papaya that I've seen made on several other cooking shows Ive watched. The flavor profiles are umami. I also suggest trying the teas. Thank you to all the staff & cooks for bringing a taste of their home/country to share with the rest of us. read more

I believe this is the absolute best Thai in the area. I have gotten a couple different dishes here and every single one has been delicious. My favorite is the pineapple fried rice with chicken. I typically get a level 3 spice (out of 5) and believe that has just the right hint of spice. Dishes are reasonably priced as well at around $15 a dish. The building is very unassuming from the outside but very cute and cozy on the inside. The staff was excellent and very attentive. read more
