Two white ceramic cups with a thin brown line near the rim are positioned on a wooden table. The cup in the foreground contains a dark liquid, possibly tea or coffee, while the cup in the background is empty or contains a light-colored liquid. A pair of glasses and some papers are partially visible in the background, suggesting a casual or work setting.

My husband and I stopped in recently for lunch while in the area. We really enjoyed it! We had Oolong tea and egg rolls. Both good. The homemade spicy mustard served with the egg rolls was delicious! I ordered the Yu Shiang Chicken and my husband ordered the Yu Shiang Shrimp. Both were spicy dishes and were made to order with a level of spiciness 1-10. Mine of a level 5 and my husband's a level 10. We both enjoyed our dishes. I wish mine had some veggies with it but I just ate some of my husband's vegetables. I had plenty of leftovers to take home too. The owner is very nice and the service was quick. We'll be back.

Long time review reader, first time eater. Ordered carryout tonight. It lives up to the hype! Delicious, unpretentious, kind staff that knew the regulars seated inside. Was a bit longer to make than originally quoted on the phone but was handed to me hot out of the kitchen. Shared a few things and I usually like to mix it up and order something different on subsequent visits, but will definitely be getting the house special Cashew Chicken again, it was great. Will definitely be coming back.

Not the pre-processed stuff you get at a takeout. Everything is made on site. Service was excellent. Food is served family style so all can share. We will be back again!

The camphorwood smoked duck is one of the best things I have ever had. Worth the visit for that alone!

My favorite neighborhood go-to when I don't feel like cooking. I've eaten in the restaurant and have taken it to go as well.

You're also not paying an ambiance tax here - and the menu reflects it. The pork snout was really good and the bok choy was delicious too! This is an absolute gem of a spot for authentic Chinese food and I'll definitely be back.

We planned to order off of their lunch menu, and split a bowl of noodles for her birthday. Chinese tradition is to eat noodles on birthdays, so we asked the server what she recommended. She told us they actually offer complimentary birthday noodles! We were so surprised; we'd never heard of anywhere doing that before. We ordered the Twice-Cooked Pork Lunch, Fish with Chili Bean Sauce Lunch, and the Birthday Noodles. With lunch, we were allowed to select an egg roll, egg drop soup, or hot and sour soup. We both opted for the hot and sour soup. Even without the complimentary noodles, this meal was incredibly well-priced at $10.99 per lunch special. High quality dishes with plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. The noodles were simple but larger than expected, well-cooked, and delicious. My mom raved about this place. She hasn't had quality Chinese food at that price in a long time, and is telling all of our family members that we should go back when they're in town. It wasn't very busy, but we hope it was just the weather. Hopefully lots of people are supporting them! We can't wait to go back.

Wow wow wow! That was some flavorful, delicious Chinese food -- and with a fun, funky ambiance!…read more We were seated quickly at one of 2 open tables on a rainy Thursday evening. Ordered green tea, a Jade Dynasty cocktail and pot stickers to enjoy while we perused the menu (including the picture book!). The pot stickers were delicious! More like meatballs inside, served with a I-don't-know-what-this-is-but-it's-delicious sauce. We ordered and were pretty quickly delivered our mains: How Fun noodles (level 2 spice) with chicken and Pepper Beef (level 3 spice). Both were outstanding! The sauces on both were savory and delicious. The noodles were great - not slimy like they can sometimes be but firm yet delicate. The chicken was tasty. The pepper beef was tangy and tender with a nice balance of peppers and onions. Serving sizes big enough for lunch the next day. Vibrant decor made the place really feel alive and servers were friendly and efficient. We found street parking but I assume this part of Covington gets busy on weekend nights so allow a few minutes to find a spot. Bonus tip: stop at DelGardo's down the street and get a couple cannoli for dessert. Perfect end to a delicious meal!

First off, the place has a fun and playful vibe with the kung fu theme, especially when you're greeted by a Shaolin Soccer poster. The service is also A+! Extremely friendly and attentive. The portions are also generous. However......... my tastebuds are baffled. We ordered a hot and sour soup as our starter and it was extremely sweet. It was basically hot sugar soup. If we hadn't put our full order in at the same time as the app, we probably would've paid after the soup and left then. However, we did order and got the szechuan beef, general chu's sesame chicken, and the how fun noodles which we were all okay. Not memorable. I'm leaving one star because the staff and atmosphere were great. I've never been compelled to write a bad review, but I could not get past the sugary hot and sour soup. For $55, I'd really expect more flavor than just sugar and chili oil for all of the dishes.
