I used to like this place until the last visit where they charged me a $1 "convenience fee" AND charged me an automatic $2.99 TIP on a $20 carry out order WITHOUT my consent. Nothing listed on this either in the restaurant or on their Website. Pretty bad when you have to CHEAT your customers to make a living. We've ordered from here multiple times. Usually ends up good and everything has been good. The last few times we've been left completely confused. Like, what the heck has happened with you guys? The food has gone completely downhill! Our most recent order was house lo mein literally ZERO chicken, not one piece of shrimp or beef! The general tso chicken, was all breading. Tiny bits of chicken. Egg rolls were more of the fried casing than the actual eggroll! The dumplings were good but not enough dipping sauce. You guys used to be the best around. Now you're just a huge disappointment. We'll be heading back to the China house on Lila Ave. they are at least good and consistent! read more

I would give this place more stars if it weren't for a couple of things. First of all the GOOD....The brown sauce in this place is the BEST in the city. Also the portions are huge and the prices are fair. The BAD part...almost every dish tastes the same! They load every dish with tons of green peppers and onions and simply throw in chicken or whatever protein you order. Also their dishes are not authentic whatsoever. The Mongolian beef is really not Mongolian beef, ditto Hunan beef and likewise the Sichuan dishes! Zero Sichuan Chili peppers or chili oil. Finally they NEED to offer lamb as an option. read more

We ordered food from here yesterday and it turned out disgusting. The noodles were extremely dry and flavorless. The crab rangoons were as cheaply made and flavorless as they could be. The service was horrible. We took our food to the front and asked for a refund, the asian lady at the front laughed in our faces mocking us and telling us that it was supposed to taste that way that it had curry in it. I said I've had curry a million times and I've had these dishes a million times, this is not what they are supposed to taste like. She refused to give us our money back. She was extremely nasty to us and would not give us our money back. We asked multiple times. They made us leave without making us any new food or giving us our money back. We were yelling or trying to make a scene or anything. They are a horrible awful business. Horrible awful nasty people. They need shut down. I am not a huge Chinese fan. Actually, I don't really eat Chinese food. I get the Sweet and Sour chicken....minus EVERYTHING. Basically, I just eat chicken nuggets from a Chinese place. But, it is delicious! The reason I give this place 5 stars is because of the situation I saw on Christmas night. This is obviously a family owned business. So, Christmas night, the wife and I had come back in to town from seeing her side of the family out of town. So, we wanted some dinner. And, these are the only types of places open on Christmas. Well, it looks liked the whole family was there that night...including their 3 year old daughter. We got there and the place was empty. But, the man (I'm guessing father) was setting up a table in the middle of the dining room. As our meal was being made, I saw this man set up 5 place settings and get the food and set it up. I watched him sit his 3 daughters at the table...and as soon as our food was given to us I saw the rest of the family come and sit at the table and they had a nice little family dinner on Christmas night at their restaurant. I LOVE this, and I love this family. So, if you have a chance to go to the Number 1 Kitchen in Milford...give them all your business! They deserve it. read more

Just, no. We love Chinese food and have been on a mission to find the best takeout near our home, but this is not it. I really wanted to love this place, the service both on the phone and in the restaurant were very good. It didn't hurt that the owners daughter rang me up and she was absolutely adorable. But service aside, the food just did not do it for us. The General tsos chicken tasted old and the chicken was tough and stringy. My husband beef and broccoli was ok, but definitely nothing special. Their steamed rice was good, but who buys Chinese for the rice?! Like I said, I wanted to love this place... But I just don't. read more

We had take out from here on Saturday. I was craving Chinese and it was closest to where we were. The place is kinda a hole in the wall...but it was busy when I went in with most everyone waiting to for takeout. We ordered sweet and sour Chicken, young chow fried rice (Combo Rice) and small meal order of General Tso chicken. We had a 10min drive home and everything was still piping hot when we arrived. Everything tasted great..my only criticism would be General Tso's could've been spicier...but the flavor was great! Recommend! read more
