    Hunan Bean Curd

New China is pretty good Americanized Chinese. It's mostly a takeout place. The menu looks the same as most other Chinese restaurants. It has some good choices. They also deliver. I had the Hunan Bean Curd. It's about $7 for the regular portion. This also happens to be the only portion for this. It's enough for a couple of meals. The tofu was cooked long enough so it wasn't overly soft like it tends to be at many places. I like that it's cheap. It's better than average Chinese. They have really good prices.

General Tso chicken, pork fried rice, egg roll and crab rangoon. All killer, no filler.

I just moved to Cincinnati a few weeks ago from Dallas so I'm on the hunt for my new Chinese spot, and New China definitely has my full support! I ordered the combination plate of General Tso chicken that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was tasty and full of flavor. The chicken was fresh, fried perfectly, juicy and the sauce was bold and had a sweetness to it. It reminded me alot like St. Louis Chinese food. I also ordered crab rangoon and it complimented my meal perfectly. Don't let the small place fool you. Stop scrolling and go and get your Chinese food fix from New China!

Made my lunch exactly the way I ordered a modified meal. They were on time and the food was delicious!

Got General Tso's chicken for lunch, it was not good. It tasted like really sweet and lacked any other flavor than sugar and cornstarch.

Always a good experience. Great service and good food. I have been going to them for years. I glad they are one of our local businesses.

My family gets take-out from New China at least once a month! We love it! Not much of a dine-in type place, but excellent Chinese take-out

We have tried several other dishes from there and can't wait to try more. We always get plenty of sauce packets when we order carryout or delivery. Haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, but will soon. Our go-to Chinese food restaurant for years was Tenji near Kings Island but in June they moved downtown. Chan's is our new go-to. Will do another review as we try new things.

I went in this past weekend and was surprised to see that it is now Jin Kitchen. I ordered General Tso's chicken with fried rice over the phone, expecting the same meal I've enjoyed from Chan's for years. Unfortunately, the moment I opened the container, there was an unpleasant smell. I tried to ignore it and give it a chance, but unfortunately, the taste matched the smell. This was not the General Tso's chicken I've known from Chan's. The fried rice was also completely different. It was dry and lacked the fluffy, flavorful yellow rice that I honestly could eat by itself. I ate about 7-8 bites, trying to convince myself that maybe I was just having an off experience, but I ultimately threw the entire meal away. I have never thrown away food from this establishment in the 20+ years I've been a customer. The signs still say Asian Wok, but unfortunately, it's not the same restaurant or the same food that I've loved for all these years. I truly hope this is just a transition issue and that things improve, because it's tough to see a place that has been part of my life for over two decades change this much.

Excellent service, generous portions, and delicious food, this restaurant did not disappoint!…read more We decided to try this place as part of our plans for our 8th wedding anniversary, and even though it's almost an hour's drive from us, it was absolutely worth it. We shared the Pork Buns, Crab Rangoon, Cumin Beef, and Chongqing Dry Chili Stir-Fried Chicken, and every dish was delicious. We had such a great experience that we were recommending this place to friends before we had even left the table! The food was that good, and we're already planning a return visit. There's definitely more on the menu we want to try, and we're happy to make the drive again.

The egg rolls are homemade, and I think the lady that made them delivered it to our table. Better than PF Chang's! My husband tried the Cumin Beef, and they were kind enough enough to omit the cilantro. The smell was divine - it was spicy though! A bit surprised they didn't ask what spice level he wanted the dish? I think I ordered the Fish Fillet Delight (the online menu is slightly different than the in person menu), it was a mild sauce, almost tasted like nothing. Towards the end once or twice I tasted the ginger, other than that, very bland. I would not order this again. Lots of food on the plate though! Ordered the pumpkin pastry at the end of the meal. It did not taste like pumpkin at all. It was melting molten mochi and vaguely yellow. Would not get this again. Thankfully I ordered the Chrysanthemum tea, which was delightful. I think Great Tang has the potential to be a great hidden gem, I just need to find my go to dish. If you like spicy, try the Cumin Beef!
