Ordered a bunch of dishes to get perspective. Chicken LoMein was excellent, tender chicken nicely flavored and noodles properly cooked. Next was Gen Tso Chicken, asked for added spice, perfect, nice crisp outside and tangy flavor, but only two pieces of Broccoli, Fried Rice was good, rice was firm, but lacked most of the typical ingredients. Had a Few peas, carrots and onions, that's it. Enjoyed the fried dumplings, they were great and the egg roll was also good, not oily but crisp. This was take-out. Overall it was a 3.5 but rounded it up to 4. read more

The food is good. I got a tofu dish and it was delicious. Their crab Rangoons are also super delectable. The service was warm, friendly, and kind. The ambiance was laid back, chill, and pleasant. I would recommend this spot if you're looking for good vibes and good food. read more

They are allowing an 11 year old Child to run the register. He is absolutely disrespectful. We witnessed him disrespecting the elderly man before us then he sat and made fun of our last name. Was in the area, and looking for Chinese food. I turned to Yelp to find somewhere to eat. The reviews sounded promising, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering we were greeted with a friendly "hi." We quickly looked over the menu, then ordered. We decided on General Tao's chicken, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef and vegetable lo mien. The three main dishes all came with white rice as well. We had tons of food. Food was quickly prepared. Everything was hot and fresh. The chicken dishes were our favorites. They were still slightly crisp with just enough sauce to cover each and every bite. Not swimming in sauce, just perfectly covered. Spice level on Mongolian beef was on the mild side. Bottled drinks are available. During our entire visit we were the only visitors who chose to dine in. Takeout was an entirely different story. We've ordered carry-out on multiple occasions and it's always delicious! The woman at the front counter is always very helpful and friendly. She even added an order of crab rangoons on the house. My family enjoys the typical Chinese carry-out dishes that you can find most places, however this place has consistently given us flavorful, quality dishes and it sets them apart. read more

We ordered off their authentic Chinese menu (see pics) and were not disappointed! We are regulars at Sichuan Bistro and the chef at Great Wall is definitely on par and the price is slightly cheaper as well. We ordered the salt and pepper crispy shrimp, the boiled fish with mala spice, and mu shu beef and loved all 3. The boiled fish is super spicy but the Sichuan peppercorns soon numb your mouth and you can't stop eating it! The restaurant itself is at the end of a strip mall small and sort of a hole in the wall but excellent for take out. We will be back! read more

Ordered Pheonix Dragon (or it was Dragon Pheonix), anyway it was not too appetizing. Have of the container was swimming in what looked like slime (probably an over abundance of corn starch) and the other half had King Po chicken. The chicken was tough. The hot and sour soup had the same slime look- and it did not taste good. The interior of the restaurant looked unkept. Sadly, I will not go there again read more

A small mom and pa take out Chinese place that offers AUTHENTIC CHINESE MENU!!! Service was very friendly and food was fairly good! A bit on the salty side for me but it did not disappoint!! This restaurant had good ratings but a fair amount of people which usually means a good place but I feel it is Just ok. Didn't like the hot and sour soup and I have had many versions from many Chinese restaurants and this one was greasy and flavorless. I got their Kung pow chicken, again a staple of Chinese restaurants, found a very sharp hard bone in it, that's ok I guess but again the dish was just ok. Won't be visiting this place again. There are so many Chinese restaurants in my area so the competition is high and this one just wasn't up to par. read more

Having recently relocated from another state, I have been disappointed in the lack of quality of other Chinese (similar to the reviewer from NJ). This is hands down the best Chinese food in the area. The general tso chicken was crispy and rich, not soggy. The beef and broccoli was cooked perfectly. The pad Thai was more Chinese than other Thai food, and I would order it again. The crab Rangoon's were not as sweet as other places, but crisp, fresh and amazing. This is a small hole in the wall place. No buffet. It is made to order, but did not take long to receive. They sell coke by the can instead of fountain. Not a huge amount of seating area, which could be a challenge if they were busy. We came on a Sunday night and were the only ones inside. A few people picked up to go orders during that time. read more

I'm a NJ/NY transplant and I was a bit shocked w the lack of fast Chinese Food restaurants in the area. I'm so glad I found this place! It's a small mom and pop shop however the quality is good. We ordered their General Tso's chicken and it was crispy w a great tangy sauce. I can't stand it when General's Chicken is soggy and nothing but breading. We also ordered their chicken w broccoli and thankfully it wasn't the typical boiled white sauce nonsense. And lastly, their chicken fried rice was a bit boring but plentiful w meat. All in all, I highly recommend this place! read more

This used to be my families go to Chinese food for probably 15 years but it has changed owners now a few times and is no where near what it used to be. Super disappointing in the quality of food, it used to be all handmade and fresh to order and now it seems like it's a lot of frozen and processed foods. So sad. Time to find a new spot! read more

This is one of my whole family favorite restaurants. Every time my kids come home from college, this is a must visit restaurant on their list. Singapore rice noodle, duck dish, general Tsao chicken, sautéed sting beans, sweet and sour fish and chicken with scallions sauce are my favorite. They raised prices twice, won't honor non-dated coupons, forgot food in stapled bags- got home to find missing items, fish tasted old and fishy last visit, this visit paid for shrimp & scallops and got 3 scallops and all Broccoli- used to love this place. Was excited to try Great Wall Kitchen based on its Yelp 4.5 star rating. We were disappointed. Food is only average. I had sesame chicken. Flavor was bland and dish would have been enhanced with more vegetables than just a few broccoli florets. My wife got Mongolian beef and she also felt that dish would have been enhanced with more vegetables than just onions. Service was nice and friendly, which is a positive. read more

I was working out the gym and has a craving for Chinese. My regular spot was too far away. Found Great Wall and very happy that I did! Ordered Szechuan chicken spicy. Very generous portion. Thought I couldn't eat all of it, but I did! Flavor was fantastic, and the spice was just right. Couldn't have asked for any better. Also order too hot and sour soups to go for tomorrow. The space itself has an eclectic, upscale vibe that adds to the overall experience. The food backed it up. We had the Japanese crab cake, grilled oysters, Baby Wedge (not so baby), and split the 16oz Wagyu ribeye with truffle butter. Sides were mushrooms and the potato mille-feuille -- that potato is a must-order. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and incredibly tender, and the crab cake was packed with large chunks of crab. The oysters were good, but everything else really stood out. Dessert was an espresso crème brûlée and finished the meal exactly how you'd want. Service was excellent. David took great care of us -- knew the menu, made good recommendations, and kept things moving without ever feeling rushed. The place was absolutely spotless -- from the dining room to the smallest details. Around $400 for two all in, and worth it for a special night out.
