Cashew chicken for lunch
Wendy C.

I was debating on whether to go 3 or 4 stars. It's just ok. I got takeout lunch and got cashew chicken. It wasn't bad, it was just much different than I've had before. The sauce was thick and very red/brown. Cashew chicken I've had in the past has a very light colored sauce and is light on the sauce in general. Also, they went very heavy on the celery and carrots; stew like. Egg drop soup was very good. The reason I went with 3 rather than 4 is because I am a crab Rangoon snob. Their Rangoon is triangle shaped rather than the typical shape. Also I prefer a light/flaky crust and theirs is extremely thick and lots of it; chewy. Also beware, I asked for a side of Rangoon because they don't give you any with the lunch special (as most places give you a choice of two or an egg roll), and I ended up with 10! For lunch, and it was just as expensive as my entire lunch. I do love some Rangoon but that is way too many for lunch. I've yet to find a great Chinese place in the area. However the place looks very clean and is in a great location. Lots of inside seating too.

This is what they consider pan Fried dumplings. I called to complain and,was met with attitude. One word. DISGUSTING.

$36.30 for 1 orange chicken, 1 beef with vegetables, 2 egg rolls and 1spring roll. Steep prices for mediocre food. I won't go back.

The two waitresses we had were extremely patient and made sure we had what we needed throughout the evening. The food was excellent. I had the Chilean sea bass, which had the perfect amount of crisp on the outside, while maintaining its juicy, flaky texture on the inside. Even when I reheated it the next day, it did not dry out. Many others got the ribeye, and there was nothing but good reviews. The section we were in (enclosed patio area) was very cozy, with a fireplace built into the wall. It was very comforting and a nice addition to the ambiance of the restaurant, compared to the area outside of the enclosed patio section. I will definitely be back for a steak soon. Thanks again to the staff for such an enjoyable experience!

The cocktails were delicious, I had the Diamond Martini and Lemon Drop with strawberry. We were there early so may have been one other diner. I did not really love the bread but no biggie. We both had steaks and loaded baked potatoes. We agreed, steaks were seasoned well and tender. Our potatoes were cold, not warm, cold. Yes they were replaced and we appreciated it. The thing is, this is the second steak place in under a month where the potato was an issue. In addition, the texture of the potato was off. I like a fluffy, melt in your mouth potato. I'm not sure how they are made in restaurants today. I bake in oven at home and never miss. Would I return absolutely.

We are lively bunch so one downside to the room is that it did not have a door, it only had a curtain, so at times we were concerned we were disturbing others. Because of our party size appetizers were served family style. The spinach and artichoke dip is out of this world! I also enjoyed the chicken and the bread that was served. We kept the drinks flowing and I think everybody enjoyed their libations. The entrees were top quality, I opted to try a New York strip. I would have loved a little more wiggle room for accompaniments to my steak, but with us having the private room and the package we chose we were not able to do so. All in all we had a great experience, but I think I would prefer to come back with a smaller group versus the private party dining in the future. This is our 15th Book Club Christmas dinner so we have experienced private dining at multiple restaurants around the city and the process here was one of my least favorite. I tend to prefer when we are not limited to a prix fixe menu and can have some more variety to accommodate different palettes and budgets ( I wouldn't have minded spending a little more for some add-ons). I also prefer private rooms with doors so that we can be ourselves and not worry about disturbing others while we are being jovial and having a good time. That said the service was phenomenal. The wait staff was attentive, especially for a party our size and we were all greeted warmly when we arrived. Valet was a little backed up as another party exited when we did. My car was right up front by the door so I just asked for my keys and got it myself, it felt a bit silly to pay for that when they seemed so understaffed. It felt like a money grab versus a necessity.

The restaurant has a polished, upscale feel with beautiful décor and a very clean, welcoming atmosphere. Most of our group ordered steak and were very happy with their choices. I had the halibut, which was tender and cooked to perfection. The mushroom risotto was flavorful, though just a bit saltier than my preference. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended for a nice dinner or special occasion.

The trout was fine but the walleye had several bones so you had to eat it very carefully. Each came with two sides and your choice of one of their four signature toppings. It was a Friday night and the place was crowded and noisy. We were seated at a table for two in the middle of the room and felt crowded too close to other tables. It was hard to pull your chair out without hitting the person behind you. Free parking in the lot of the strip mall where the restaurant is located. The food was good (except for those bones in the walleye) and the service was fine. It's a dependable place for meal, especially if you like seafood, but they have a few beef and chicken choices as well. I'd rate it a 4 for the food but the crowded and noisy environment reduced that rating to a 3.

What a great concept for an updated steakhouse dining experience. Top notch from the moment we…read moreentered to the time we left. We were in town for an event and were ready for dinner far earlier than our reservation but the hostess got us in no problem. Our server, David, was terrific. He is the only server who has ever convinced me that ordering Wagyu was worth the money. He sold us on the 14oz Australian Wagyu which in his words "was the best steak he had ever eaten" and after having it, I couldn't agree more. The steak was perfectly cooked, beautifully plated since we shared, and it melted in your mouth. The char on the outside was ridiculous in the best way. We also had oysters on the half shell broiled with Cajun butter, lobster Mac n cheese, and corn brûlée. All of it was delicious. I wish we would have ordered the bread with candlestick butter, it looked amazing. Totally worth the money, will make a drive from Columbus just to have that steak again.

The space itself has an eclectic, upscale vibe that adds to the overall experience. The food backed it up. We had the Japanese crab cake, grilled oysters, Baby Wedge (not so baby), and split the 16oz Wagyu ribeye with truffle butter. Sides were mushrooms and the potato mille-feuille -- that potato is a must-order. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and incredibly tender, and the crab cake was packed with large chunks of crab. The oysters were good, but everything else really stood out. Dessert was an espresso crème brûlée and finished the meal exactly how you'd want. Service was excellent. David took great care of us -- knew the menu, made good recommendations, and kept things moving without ever feeling rushed. The place was absolutely spotless -- from the dining room to the smallest details. Around $400 for two all in, and worth it for a special night out.
