Grab lunch with some friends today! We were worried about getting a table with holiday shoppers. I arrived a bit early first one in the restaurant at 11:30. Wait staff were super friendly and I studied the extensive beer list I tried one with a tester and did not care for it. Ordered another and it was perfect, a Grainworks Breakfast stout. My friends arrived we split a large pizza half margarita and half Italian. The Italian was the favorite, a nice size pizza we even had a slice left over. I can't believe I waited so long to try this place! 10/10 recommend! The nice thing about the liberty location is if there is a wait, you have a ton of shops to browse while waiting on your table. Now on the restaurant... such a great pizza bar and nice for families, date night, or friends. They have something for everyone including a kids menu. I will add when it's busy it is fairly loud however, that did not bother us. I tried the Pappadew and House salad with Gorgonzola dressing and both were fantastic! I always love the food at Pies and Pints. Their pizza crust is my absolute fav! The seasonal pizza Heirloom tomato is my favorite and I was excited to see it was being offered. I got that and the other half the grape pizza. Also a spinach salad and grilled wings. I was meeting a friend for her birthday, and as it turns out she stood me up. The pizza here seriously rocks, my favorite margarita pizza of all time! The olive oil/garlic that they put on the pie takes it to the next level. Pricing was very reasonable. $13 for the 11 inch pie, and the side of sauce I requested was only 50 cents. I'm glad I got a side of sauce because the sauce on the pie was almost non existent. My wife and I had dinner today at this location. Our waitress, Riley was the nicest person to wait on us in a long time. We did have a mix up on the order, but the manager made it right and gave us a nice discount. The food was very good. I had a large pizza with mushrooms and half pepperoni's. Our main course, the wife had a small pepperoni pizza. She says the pizza was a three, it was not cooked very well done and it was cold. I had a large house salad and added chicken. It was four stars. I did stop in the restroom, and found it needed attention. I am not a drinker so I can't say anything for their drinks but the food is amazing! My favorite is the Chicken Gouda! Incant help but it it every time I come! My wife loves the street corn or the pine and swine! If you come hungry and want an appetizer I can't recommend the wings enough! They are grilled with a char and still juicy and tender on the inside! If your with a group get the pulled pork nachos they'll feed a bunch and are incredible. At night the lights are a little dim for my taste but I don't mind. It is decorated very well and modern and always seems clean. Service has never been bad! I've been here many times and they are always fast on refills for the soda and food comes out hot and ready. They have made a few mistakes but every time they apologize and go above and beyond to fix it! If this review was completed after my first trip to Pies & Pints, it would be 1-2 stars higher. But after a handful of visits for lunch and dinner, my views have changed. Typically, pre- Covid, this was a great place to go somewhere loud, eat some yummy carbs, and they had a pretty good beer selection. I actually like going more now, because it is less busy, and it does seem they have spaced the tables out. Not sure where establishments got the notion that patrons like a noisy dining experience - this one doesn't! So I appreciate it now post-lockdown for that reason. The service is usually ok, never stellar, never offensive. Took an absurdly long time to get a side of salad dressing as I sat there staring at a dry salad. Also, the server forgot our water until 1/3 way through the meal or there about. Speaking of the salad, the arugula goat cheese salad was so disappointing...the worst salad I've ever had. Though it was a nice American sized portion, the grilled chicken that was added was cold...like just came out of the refrigerator cold and though dressing appeared to exist on the heaping mound of arugula, I could not taste it. When you add grilled chicken you think it's going to be warm - think again here! It would have improved the salad greatly! The honey vinaigrette tasted like something I'd make at home or worse, too much olive oil, not enough flavor. Also not enough toppings of the goat cheese, cherries, and pistachios to balance the quantity of arugula...I ate 1/4 of the salad because it was displeasingly unappetizing. Also, the raspberry gose I ordered honestly tasted like soy sauce...uh what? Yup, you read that right. If you like better than average pizza, and aren't picky about your beer, then this is a good place. read more

The beer list is fantastic (and extensive). It includes local craft beers as well as beers from around the States. The house specialty pizzas sound amazing. The downside was our pizza. We ordered the Mushroom Garlic pizza and had the salsa and chips as an appetizer. The salsa lacked heat and was very bland. Our pizza was very close to the point of having an outright burnt crust. Because of this it was extremely chewy and and the rim was hard. The contents also suffered a little and were on the dry side. We did dine in about an hour before closing, or else I might have considered having the pizza remade. Honestly, it was hard to rate this place. I'd like to give this place another try, and see how the pizza is. If baked appropriately it has a good potential to be a solid 4 star. read more

My husband and I had a great experience tonight. Our server, Adam, did not stop the entire time we were there. My husband loved the Nashville Hot Pizza Adam suggested, and I enjoyed my go-to Mushroom Garlic. They also did an excellent job dealing with my food allergies. If you're looking for a place with great specialty pizzas and craft beer, this is the place for you! Let me preface my review by mentioning that I didn't get to try any of the pizza, but between the 5 of us eating, everyone loved it! We got the Sriracha shrimp pizza which has Garlic, red onions, pineapple, scallions, basil, mint, cilantro, and sriracha aioli. It was a huge hit at our table and it was a good price of $25 for a large pizza split between 4 people! I got the chicken Caesar salad and it was pretty good. Just a note: the small size is a personal serving and is by no means "small". The large size you can order is for the entire table. I'm glad I found this out before I ordered or else I probably would've ordered a large salad We also tried about 15 different beers between the 5 of us. It does get pricey because it's $6-$9 a glass, but that's what you expect when you're drinking craft beer. We were very impressed with their selection.
