The best jalapeño poppers I've ever had in my entire life, thought they may have goofed up and given me egg rolls but I was sorely mistaken. Friday pizza night, and we decided to try a new / old place: Adriatico's. Near UC, this place has been here a long while. It's a pizza and a bar, so that's the vibe you get. They have many tables and a bar. It was crowded on a Friday night, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes. We ordered an antipasto salad, large, split between 3 of us and it worked great size-wise. Ingredients were fresh, lettuce as crisp - thumbs up from all 3 of us. Then we ordered a personal size Hawaiian pizza (flavorful and delicious) and a chicken pesto Sicilian crust (hubs really loved this while I thought was good). We paid for parking in a nearby garage, and went to Insomnia cookies a block over for dessert. We would go back to Adriaticas again especially if we were in the area. read more

We were not disappointed: a thin crust, our choices (pepperoni, sausage and bacon featured). Fresh veggies, crispy crust on the calzone and filled with melted mozzarella cheese. I ordered it with the garlic butter as opposed to the pizza sauce. While the garlic butter was great, I probably should have taken the pizza sauce which would have fully complimented the Zoni.
