Swung by after work to try beer. Bartenders were very helpful, will be back next time I'm in town.

I came here with my neighbor to grab a lobster roll from the Naughty Lobster food truck and grab a beer. They also have pizza from Big Dog Pizza a local West Chester Pizza place, just not sure when they serve pizza. The service was very polite and took great care of us and helped with getting us a beer that fit our taste options. I am not a huge IPA fan, so I ended up getting a peach beer that was really good. I am not a huge beer person and I see they also offer some cocktails but my thought was I wanted to try a beer since that is their main business. I really like how clean the place is and even the bathroom was very clean. I will recommend this location if you like beer and pizza or whatever food truck happens to be here. I will be back. I will plan to come back for pizza. read more

I came for MamaBear's Mac but stayed for the beer menu! I enjoy the adventurous menu of beers and THC seltzers made in house. The space is traditional for a local brewery, warehouse style with exposed structures- just how it should be! For a Saturday night, the place was steady with only a few open spots. I liked that it was kid friendly because mom + dad need to get out with the fam every now and then. The line for a beer was a little slow but they were plenty of TVs to watch while you wait and great decor. For the stout, I would've enjoyed a deeper flavor but overall a great visit. read more

We stopped here for a FC Cincy watch party and had a good time! I love how they have the untapped app up on the tv and you can actively see people reviewing! Drinks were good and well as the little food stand in the corner. The only downside is that the drink line is often long! read more

This place has a list of over 20+ brews you can select from, including different beers, ciders, cocktails and non alcoholic options. There is a parking lot available, however parking may be impacted by neighboring dock areas so may have to park further away from the business. The tap room had options for larger group seating allow and high top, there is also a dog friendly patio. The staff is friendly with quick service. The food service would expect about 15-20+ minutes to receive depending on volume. I tried their blackberry cider. It was on the sweet side of cider and not dry. I also tried their bbq nachos and pretzel bites. The pretzel bites came with bier cheese which is a plus! read more

Relaxing vibe, average beer, unique atmosphere, pricey food, here's my experience in detail. Not a lot of parking when we showed up to trivia night. Tight spaces and half unpaved. The walkway to the front was cool, matched the aesthetic, there are some couches and tables to lounge around in, which we took advantage of during the sunset. Walking into the brewery, the "aesthetic" is very Vikingy - Nordic. Lots of barn doors, flags, barrels, wood tables. I thought the pint glasses as mason jars was a creative spin. Onto the beer, I went with a flight. Sours are my go to right now, always got to throw one on there. Grainworks has a cherry pineapple tart. I wasn't impressed. Light, slight tart flavor. The lime coconut donut sounded wild. Definitely unique, light, dash of vanilla, little lime, wouldn't wanna drink more than a couple sips tho. The sentinel, light again, there's some hop and juice to it. Watery and not super cold. Beertenders were cool and helpful, same with the kitchen staff. Which leads me to food, located in the other corner of the restaurant. They have some creative dishes, like the mac and cheese flight. Lots of Mac choices. Some burgers, wings, apps. The burgers were pricey, alot of it was so I went with the wings. Garlic parmesan. They were smokey, tasted good though. Flavor wasn't too intense but the others might be worth a try. Gf liked her chicken and Mac n cheese. Overall, I'm glad I checked it out. Not crazy about the beers but the atmosphere and potential food like burgers and apps is enough to come back. read more

Grainworks is a solid Cincinnati brewery that I think sometimes gets overlooked. It is pretty far north, in an area that looks more like an industrial park than a place you should drive into looking for beer, but it does have much better signage than it used to. The space is fairly large with lots of tables, perfect for a happy hour or other group gathering. They also have rooms available for formal events as well. The beer menu spans multiple varieties and has good standbys. The oatmeal stout and My Blue Heaven (blueberry ale) are some of my favorites A more recent addition to the taproom is Mama Bear's Mac. I have not ordered food at Grainworks but I have had the Mac down at Element Eatery and it does not disappoint. Great addition to this brewery. read more

When we first started going there, it was very friendly and comfortable. They provided a place where diversity and inclusion were welcomed. Unfortunately, it no longer feels that way. Cool place, I like that they have food there. I had one beer which was labeled as tart but wasn't really anything to write home about. My bf enjoyed the Scottish ale I brought back home for him. I love their patio, but it wasn't nice enough out to take advantage of it. Service was friendly. I only ate a salad so I'm not sure I can speak to the overall quality of the food. This brewery is top notch and a gem hidden out in West Chester! I had a flight and there was g a beer on my flight that wasn't amazing! I had all the styled Ales, Lagers, Stouts and even a Cider. I had to go back for another one to try after I finished my flight. The beer was balanced and refreshing. The ambiance is great and they struck a nice balance of live music and then a Bengals watch party. The bar tenders were great and very helpful. 10/10 brewery for sure! read more

Even though beer isn't my favorite drink, Grainworks was a really awesome place to hang out. My family and I sat at the bar and the bartender was really kind. It was an open and clean space. They also have rooms that you can reserve for events. Definitely coming here to celebrate some occasions this year! read more

Ate here on a Sunday afternoon. It is similar to Sonder brewing--you order and pay for your drinks at one counter and order and pay for your food at another counter. I had the nachos with pulled pork and the basic hamburger with everything. The burger was one of the best I have had in years--not messy or greasy and very flavorful. I also had a glass of the Helles beer that was just voted #1 in the Cincy area (in that day's Enquirer.) Plus a beer flight of 4 other beers. It was pretty loud with 3 TVs going with the NCAA Women's basketball tournament. A dog-friendly patio also. I hope to return. read more

Everyone was friendly and the tap staff were knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me pick out the perfect beer for my taste profile. I chose the well named Luke I Am Your Lager; I normally don't love the paler lagers, but this was dark and delicious. Tried some of the appetizers from their in house restaurant MamaBear's that our group got and everything was good. It wasn't crowded but we were there in the afternoon, so it was an off time. OK...Really in truly, you go to a brewery for one thing...BEER ! So, go to this brewery because it has great beer. A great selection...whether it be an IPA, a Brown, a Stout or whatever. We tried (2) flights and I have to say of the (8) beers we tried, not one...NOT ONE was bad. (and I'm not even an IPA fan but my wife's IPA was actually pretty good. Atmosphere pretty good. Grainworks is a great place to hang out. I met some folks there to play games and grab lunch. We were there for about 2 hours, and had great food and drinks. The burgers are delicious, and others in my group recommended the Mac and cheese sampler and the pretzel bites. Everyone agreed that the food was great. Another great addition to Cincinnati for Breweries! Didn't know anything about this place until I spotted a random ad online. Definitely had to check it out. It's located in industrial spot like Rivertown Brewery. There is plenty of parking. The also have a food truck if you get hungry. The inside is spacious and bartenders are quick/friendly. Stopped in to get some cans of "more sheep's tan peep" as a gag gift for a friend who raises sheep. Since I was at the brewery I tried it, it's good, I don't like IPA's, but it is a New Zealand hazy IPA, and it tasted less hoppy and more like an American pale ale which I can enjoy. I have been trying fruit beers all summer, so I tried a glass of "my blue heaven", it a very good ale with a hint of blueberry. read more

Cool brewery. Well appointed space. They take Covid-19 serious and I felt safe grabbing a drink. Masks are enforced inside when ordering, you can naturally take it off at your table. They have a lot of canned and bottled beer, so I could buy some to try at home. They did a great job with the space they had, nice woodwork inside and comfortable garden sofas outside. When we stopped by last time, there was free live music, a cool guitar player playing covers. Very nice atmosphere. I enjoyed the music, not too loud to interrupt conversation, but pleasant to fill the space with more coziness. Staff were super nice. read more

Well this place was a disappointment. Let's start with the bartender. Not an overly friendly fellow. I explained that it was my first visit and he asked if I wanted to try a flight. Why yes, I do! I then told him what types of beer I like, stout, porter, IPA (basically anything with full body and great flavor) dude gives me a flight of what looked (and tasted) like Bud Light. We've visited Grainworks twice over a two month period and loved this brewery! It has a great vibe and the beer also is awesome! Both times we visited there was a food truck that allowed us to soak up some of the suds we've enjoyed. We tried nachos, fries, and wings all which were all good! On my way to Dayton, I decided to find a new brewery. And Grainworks Brewing Company it was. I walked in and observed a very nice place to drink some great tasting craft beers. No food until the food truck arrives at 4. I ordered a 4 flight: 2) Farmers Daughter: Saison made with Rye Malt and Belgian yeast. Spicy note with hoppiness! 8) Picket Fence: Belgian style witbier, with coriander and chamomile complimenting with nice spice and earthiness. 5) Scottish MISTS: Malty goodness provides by Simpson's double roasted caramel malt. A dark Carmel taste with a light finish! 10) Oatmeal Stout: Oats pair with Chocolate and Black Malts to provide Wonderful dark chocolate and coffee flavors. Very smooth and easy drinking. Came here for a special beer release and Holtmans Donut pairing. The location is pretty much in a business park, so you might not easily realize it is there. Despite this fact there is plenty of parking and a really nice outdoor space with lots of comfy couch seating. On this day they had a food truck too. The inside is large and has all kinds of cool features. The staff was friendly and let my friend try different things before getting a pint. I liked everything I ordered, and especially the featured beer release. This is a great addition to the greater Cincy craft brew scene! Definitely one the the least fulfilling brewery experiences I've had in a long time. I walked up to the counter and asked for a flight explaining that it was my first time and I liked a wide range of beers from IPAs to stouts and everything else yet the bartender gave me four beers that were practically the same and not at all enjoyable. They had that sort of chemical-new-brewery low flavor taste that Braxton had in their early years. Meh. So, major bummer and I later asked for a sample of the stout from a different bartender and it was moderately flavorful and would have been a nice addition to the original flight. I wish them success and hope their beers can improve. read more
