The flavor and texture of the meats are perfect. The bread was exactly what a baguette should be. The picked veggies was just enough flavor and crunch to make a delicious lunch. Independent fast-casual restaurant located about ten miles north of the 275 loop outside of Cincinnati. I cannot tell you how much I love their banh mi sandwiches- some of the best in the area. I've had the chicken, the crispy pork and the special and they were all amazing. Copious amounts of fresh veggies, succulent meats and perfect bread make this sandwich I think about whenever I'm on I-75 near Tylersville. My sole gripe with the experience is that when you pay with a credit card, there's a mandatory tip screen that includes options for 10/15/25% or you can put in your own amount with option four. This is awfully brazen for a take out/drive thru situation, because at no time does anyone *ask* for a tip when paying cash at takeout, and I can't think of ANY other fast food/fast casual restaurants that even have a space on checkout screen for a tip. Being forced to manually actively decide to not tip by entering zero dollars is decidedly not cool, and feels super tacky. They can do better. The restaurant is pretty unique for Ohio. Has a Vietnamese mixed with 85 degrees feel to it. Baked goods, boba tea, and of course the sandwiches. Chris was very helpful even though I acted like a crybaby about how small the sandwiches were. I was thrown for a loop when I read ten dollars for a Banh Mi sandwich and I knew my complaint was valid. skinny and not that much protein nor veggies. But again the baguette was pretty thin. Delicious! I was looking to have a sandwich for lunch and Paris Banh Mi Cafe popped up on Yelp and looked interesting. Boy am I glad my interest was strong enough to lead me to try the place. I got their crispy pork banh mi and it was very satisfying. The flavor was great, the bread was fresh, and the portion was filling. My son tried a piece of the pork and we ended up going back after his soccer game so he could eat. He also tried one of the bubble teas. The service was prompt and polite, as well. The Pork was nicely seasoned. Needed a little more sauce because it was a little dry. I can handle spice, but in the second half of the sandwich there was one bite that just lit me up. I've been going to Paris Bahn Mi so many times in the past couple of years and I've never once had a bad experience! I always get a mango smoothie with rainbow fruit jellies and sometimes get a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. The smoothie is TO DIE FOR!!!! I live thirty minutes away and am willing to drive there just for it! Service is always fast and with great accuracy. They've never gotten an order wrong for my entire family! This place is a cozy cafe off of Tylersville. The place is quaint but the staff were lacking in customer service skills - some of them you could tell didn't want to be there that Saturday. I arrived around 1 PM - it was empty however as I was eating my food which I will get to - a lot of people piled in the doors - so this place is popular with the people who do know about it! I got two drinks within the time I was there - my first was their seasonal dragon fruit drink - it was refreshing and delicious with pieces of real dragon fruit in it. The second drink was a passion fruit black tea with mango popping boba - when it comes to black tea I am a snob and this was overpowering - you could only taste the flavor added and not the tea which was a bummer - I won't get that drink again! Food wise - I got french onion soup (2 bowls one for here and one to go), and a korean corn dog with potato on the outside, a pastry apple turnover from the bakery case. The french onion soup was a 7/10 it was delicious and light and I liked the fresh bread in the soup - I just wish the cheese had been more melted and the broth a tad bit heartier. The korean corn dog was a huge cheese stick on a stick covered in potatoes because I didn't pay attention and order one with a hot dog but it was tasty none the less. Ever since moving to Cincinnati October 2022, I haven't really had a Vietnamese banh mi. 1) because I live East of Cincinnati and it'll take me a minimum of 25 minutes to go to the closest Vietnamese restaurant and 2) they seem pricey AF here compared to SoCal. Anywho, we were running errands west of us and Paris Banh Mi was 5 minutes away from where we were so I wanted to give it a try. It's a pretty large establishment for a Vietnamese sandwich shop - it's definitely not what I'm used to coming from Southern California because I'm used to the little mom and pop shops. Anyways I ordered their special sandwich and a couple of their pate chauds. First off there are two types of Vietnamese baguettes that are typically sold. There are the long skinny ones and then there are the fat short ones. I prefer the fat short ones because that's what I grew up on so the skinny ones are okay to me. The sandwich here is on the long skinny baguette and I thought it was pretty okay. It wasn't hard, it was still pretty easy to eat which was nice. It's not like a standard actual French baguette that'll break your mouth lol. The toppings inside for the special sandwich was good. I do wish they were more generous on the deli meats.. again I'm so used to the Vietnamese sandwich since Southern California where they pack in the meats (keep in mind that Southern California is saturated with a lot of Vietnamese restaurants therefore they have to keep it competitive). Overall taste - It was good, but nothing amazing. It satisfied the craving. For Pate Chaud - It was good but it tasted different from what I'm used to. I tasted a lot of black pepper and soy sauce in the actual meat which is really interesting to me. I'd give it three out of five. This is a Vietnamese French style cafe. They have plenty of Banh Mi to choose from and the drink selection has plenty of variety. There was only one person operating the store and running the drive through. This did not hurt my experience because she was working as if there were 5 people there. The wait was short. I'll preface this by saying I've never had an authentic Bánh mi before, but this place makes an incredible sandwich. I opted for the Pick 2 deal with a house salad and half of the combination banh mi. The salad is large and comes with hard boiled egg, pickled daikon and carrot, and a really great gingery dressing. The sandwich was freshly made, on a light and airy baguette, and featured several kinds of meat, pate, pickled veg, jalapeño and cilantro. There is just a lot of deliciousness going on here. Everything worked well together--and individually! The fresh stuff was super fresh; the meats were savory and flavorful; and the pickles were bright but not overwhelming. This is maybe the third time I've ever had pate in my life and it's the only experience with it I'm eager to repeat. My husband had the pork banh mi, which was also incredible. Maybe better than the combo? I only got one bite so it was hard to compare. Both are great. We also opted to split the creme brulee milk tea with boba. Delicious and satisfyingly sweet, and they give you lots of boba for $0.75! We were passing it back and forth the whole 30-minute car ride home. More sugar than I need on my own but perfect for sharing. Go there, try anything, and go back!
