Stopped in Servatii's this morning for a couple of cheese danish (just so fresh, soft and delish) and found a bag of sliced pretzels for around $16! Got those babies in the car and had to give one a try. Boy am I sorry I bought these! Because I will probably eat WAY TOO MANY! They are soft, slightly salty and sooooo addictive. I'm going to make a Cincinnati chili dip for these for our Football viewing tomorrow and I just know they will be a huge hit! Service was so good here. They are quick and friendly. I love this bakery and I haven't had anything that I didn't just love! Fall is here and there are plenty of treats to celebrate the season. Thoughtless workers. I'm from out of town and called about 4-5 minutes b4 closing and mentioned i was 1-2 minutes away(sisters house). Got there right at 2 and door locked/lights off with 2 female workers inside, one turned her back and the other mouthed something from 50ft away like i was suppose to understand. One more minute wouldnt have hurt as i knew what i wanted and even mentioned it to them on the phone. Judging by other reviews I may have dodged a bad experience with food quality. Yes! I could literally stop right there with one word. Yes!. This could be my shortest review ever or it could be my longest review ever. If you're looking for the goods, Servatii's has it. From Donuts, to cookies, to pies, to cakes and anything your little Baker's heart could desire, they've got it and more! Would I go back? Yes. Unfortunately, it's extremely harmful to my health given that I have a severe deficiency in self-control when it comes to sweets, baked goods and ice cream. Therefore, I have to force myself away. But, if I need to get my hands on some delicious baked goods, Servatii's is my go-to place. Are you planning a party? Do you need a birthday cake? Do you need to order a few different pies for a holiday gathering? Did you wake up this morning, take a look in the mirror and then say to yourself, "I am way too skinny! This west chester location is one I frequent during the weekends! They have the best coffee by seven hills coffee (try the brain brew) and such an assortment of fresh bakery items. I Will usually get a blueberry muffin or a bagel. They need a bagel slicer though, because they always have to go to the back to slice a bagel. The only reason for the 4/5 rating is they always seem a little frazzled when people come in on a weekend morning, and the customer service level is lowered, due to an influx of customers. Understandable, but just a little frustrating. this visit I left with four different slices of deserts for a meal later and they were all wonderful! read more

We ordered a Hello Kitty last week and I eagerly drove this morning to pick it up for my foreign exchange student's 17th birthday today. To my surprise, no Hello Kitty! I'm in West Chester all of the time for work, but actually didn't realize there was a Servatii until searching Yelp for treats in the area. It's tucked away and would be easy to miss. I feel like I discovered a diamond today. More pastries than you know what to do with - just walking in makes me want to throw a party as an excuse to get a delicious cake or even better - their famous pretzels and cheese. On this visit, I really was just looking for a snack and coffee between appointments. Settled on the muffin special of the day, which was blueberry and just okay. Next time springing for an eclair or cheese Danish. The house coffee was surprisingly good for 2:30 in the afternoon. There is limited seating inside and out, however only for up to two people. Not really a place to just sit and work, but definitely a new go-to for an afternoon pick me up! read more

I hate to leave bad reviews especially during times like this. Our realtor gave us a free coupon for a pie. We called two days ahead of time to order (as stated on coupon) and they would not let us reserve a pie and told us to come in and pick it up in the next two day. When we went over and pick up the pie they refused to let us use the coupon for the pie. When we tried to explain the run round they still wouldn't allow us to use the coupon. The were extremely rude and had poor customer service both in store and over phone. Super disappointing. read more

Worst experience. Picked up a cake for my mother's birthday. Had tons of people over to my house after going out to dinner. I cut into the cake that I had bought only hours before-only to find out that it was completely molded through! My 4 year old had already taken several bites and I was disgusted. I will never buy another cake here and I am so disappointed in this! I have never had a cake mold--even after several days or a week. This must have been on the shelf for at least a week and therefore should never have been sold! I'm hoping my 4 year old doesn't get sick! In reading other reviews, this seems to happen. Ordered the large pretzel sandwich for a work meeting, everyone loved it! Ordered it using their online site which worked great, except the earliest pickup time was 11am. I responded to their email confirmation asking if I could pick it up at 9am on the way to my meeting and they let me know it was no problem. Great customer service. I called the brand new marketplace Kroger in West Chester to order a special decorated cake for my daughters college graduation. I was told if it isn't in their book, they can't do it. I wanted a face on a round cake with a surgical mask across the face. I called Servati's and they said bring in a picture. They not only matched it exactly, but made the face look comically real; wide eyes with long lashes and a raised nose. I would highly recommend Servati's. The cake tasted so good and moist. I had the absolute worst experience ever . I have purchased my son's birthday cake from here ,when we served it it was sour... like it was expired . Called them the next day and they said 'bring the cake back and will refund you' are you freaking kidding me . My boy had an expired cake in his birthday . I care less about your refund or another cake . I'm Furious that we had to go through this. So many wonderful pastries and cakes to choose from ... cheese cakes, tortes, Yule logs - many things you can't find anywhere else. My personal favorite is probably the Yule log ... and it's only available during the holidays. Next is probably the Dobisch Torte ... my grandmother used to make Dobisch Tortes - slightly different recipe, 8 layers of golden cake with a chocolate custard filling in between, iced with chocolate. Servatii's is slightly different, but still wonderful and a whole lot less work! For a special occasion, you can't do much better than one of their desserts. read more

I stopped by this Servatii's to pick up a cake for a family party. Though it seemed pretty busy, I was able to get immediate service! I got my California Fruit Torte ($32.65) and was back at my car in under 5 minutes. Also, if you've never had their California Fruit Torte, you need to give this a try. It's not only beautiful but the cake isn't overly sweet and there's a delicious strawberry mousse in the center. You walk in and they look you get as if you're really causing them to be inconvenienced. Servatii's pretzels are to die for. You have an option of 6 dips but I always eat mine with just mustard. There are also many other fresh delicacies as well. The service is great and you're always greeted with a smile and a hello. If you have a big order, make sure to call it in first as the store may tend to be super busy especially near or on holidays. After having grown up in Cincinnati, and convincing my New Englander fiancé to leave Brooklyn and move here, this was somehow the first time I have ever been to a Servatti's shop. I of course had their pastries and coffee at various catered events, so I already knew to expect greatness. What I was not prepared for, however, was the level of service with which I was presented here. It was immediately evident from the pristine condition of the store and the positive energy, that the folks working here genuinely love what they do. Every time I am even remotely near the Voice of America shopping center I have to stop at Servatii's. They have the best soft pretzels, and they are huge and well-priced. The cheeses and dips to choose from are all tasty but my favorite is the garlic cheese sauce. I haven't had the cookies, cakes or pastries at this place, but if they're anything like the pretzels they would be to die for. read more

Every time I step foot into Servatii I feel like a kid again. Everything is bright and colorful, not to mention the smell of fresh baked goods. I come here at least once a week to pick up breakfast/snacks for customers so I feel as though I have a good feel for the place. Some of the highlights here include the pretzels and beer cheese, glazed old fashioned cake doughnuts, decorative birthday cookies and the Christmas Yule Log. They also have some really good coffee here to go with your snacks. My only beef here is that they only make their old fashioned doughnuts 4 days a week. I order my boys birthday cake from Servatii in Jan., 2015, least say not exactly cheap. When I picked the cake up the white icing had pink smears around the letters of the cake. The employees there are extremely rude and I emailed the manager and never has returned the E-Mail. I had to buy the cake of course since our party was four hours away from pick up. We have ordered cakes from Servatii twice over the past three months. The first time, we ordered a cake for my second grader's First Holy Communion. On this occasion, Servatii used the wrong color of icing and the wrong figurine on the cake. After contacting them about the problem, they told me they would refund me $8 for the use of the incorrect figurine. So, . . . I decided to give them a second try for my daughters' joint birthday party. When I went in to order the cake, I talked to the person I was told to talk to (name escapes me right now) and she told me she had no knowledge of the refund. I explained that I had an email at home from Barry telling me that Servatii would refund me $8. Instead of calling Barry or trying to fix the problem, I had to go home, print out the email and return to the shop to order the cake! This experience should have told me to RUN away from Servatii. But, instead, we proceeded with our order. We ordered a 1/2 sheet birthday cake and although I spelled my daughter's name (Lindsay) three times for them and even viewed it on the order form, they misspelled her name on the cake. When I told them about the problem, they told me that they could re-do the cake but their might be a minor additional charge for the re-do. Huh? If they make an error, they charge the customer? I sent an email explaining my dissatisfaction with this and they did not even have the decency to call or email me with a response. Overall, their customer service and their attention is very poor. I guess one customer's satisfaction does not mean much to this bakery. I will definitely NOT use them again. read more
