My BFF and I need some yummy items for a cocktail club we enjoy. We searched Yelp and found a hidden gem right down from our favorite coffee shop. I mean we never noticed it here sadly or we would have been here sooner. We were helped as soon S we walked in and were told about the different flavors and options. The location is smaller, but very clean and bright. We got 6 cookies, 6 cupcakes and a box of macaroons. Later when we got cocktail club I enjoyed a raspberry cupcake that was so moist and flavorful I don't think I have ever bought one that was so tasty. Heck I love baking and I am not sure I could make a cupcake that tasted as good. The cookies were also so very good, not you typical sugar cookie and the macaroons were just amazing. Wow, I just received a box of cupcakes for my 60th Birthday. I must say, I'm a foodie and picky on flavors. I have got to say that after eating the third cupcake, I had to do a review. I asked my friend where he got the, because there is a small sticker that seals the box but I unfortunately ripped it when opening the box. He told me Lulu's in West Chester. The flavors are deep and so flavorful and I feel like I'm eating homemade cupcakes made with fresh ingredients. Recently ordered a cake with coconut on top and on the layers- nobody in Cinci area would make it, and it was the special request for 70th birthday. When they dropped me off at 4pm, I went back for another one so that my husband could understand why I'd leave him for this cupcake. I'm giving Lulu's a solid 3.5, went with a 3 since I can't actually give that. Beautiful space with walk in room only. Every single treat was phenomenally decorated. Rosanna is the owner and went above and beyond with customer service. I had the snickerdoodle and I believe the Oreo macaroons, they were outstanding. The cake part of the strawberry cupcake was good but the strawberry icing just didn't do it for me. The apple crisp and the peanut butter iced chocolate cupcake were both good, probably not in my Cincinnati top 5 cupcakes. The sugar cookies with buttercream frosting were not as soft/fresh as I had hoped. The flavor was good but it turned out to be a bit hard and slightly crumbly. I love Rosanna's story and I wish her much success. I would go back for the macaroons and to maybe give the cupcakes another try. read more

Discovered this place after having coffee at Cavu. The owner, Rosanna was a pleasure to talk with, so nice and welcoming. Her shop is a front counter with the rest taken up by the back room where the magic happens, so do not plan on staying. Previously mentioned front counter was stocked with yummy flavored cupcakes, beautifully decorated sugar cookies, rice crispy treats, macarons, and edible chocolate chip cookie dough. She told me she makes everything from scratch with real butter, etc. She also takes orders for custom cakes and decorated macarons and pretty much everything else in the case. I personally only tried the pistachio macarons bc they are my fav. These were yum! The filling was not overly sweet and had a little saltiness to it that I really liked with the pistachio. My kids loved the chocolate ganache and birthday cake that I got them. My friend got a 4-pack of the cupcakes and said they were all a big hit at her house (husband and 2 teens). I changed my mind and went back and forth more than once and she was very patient and kind with me. The cake atheistically was perfection and exceeded my expectations - but more importantly, the taste was incredible.
