Came by and was hoping for a snack. Initially no one was at the counter. I looked around and honestly didn't see any thing that impressed. This was our first time stopping in, we had been next door at the UPS store. This won't be our last visit! It smelled so good inside and all the cases were filled with delicious looking confections- it was hard to decide what to try first. We ended up getting (10) butter cookies with sprinkles and a package of (10) baklava/baklawa. I believe the filling of the butter cookies was a tart delicious apricot jam. The baklava is now in the top three of my favorites that I have ever had- it doesn't beat my grandmothers or my aunties.. but it is the best outside of family I have ever had. It isn't overly sweet. It isn't dripping in syrup or honey. It's perfect and has the best crisp yet soft bite. We can't wait to try more. read more

Gotta sweet tooth? This place has something for everyone...well, minus vegans...unless you are a honey and butter eating vegan, then you should definitely try the baklava. Speaking of baklava, they had so many varieties of it; walnut, pistachios...they had me at pistachio so I don't know the it the other types. They have all sorts of fun themed birthday cakes, fruit cakes, chocolate cakes, and even slices of desserts like tiramisu, lemon cake, etc. I got a small box of pistachio baklava which was not as moist as I usually like. Pile on that honey, honey!! I also got a few different types of tea cookies; strawberry, apricot, Nutella and white chocolate which made me cough because they were so dry. Don't forget the tea with those tea cookies! My boyfriend got the tiramisu which, well with an Italian mother it's practically impossible to find a tiramisu that trumps hers, and this was no exception to that rule. This place is awesome for desserts. Their cakes are spectacular. We have gotten cake slices several times and everyone has been great. Our favorite is the crunchy almond toffee cake. That's not what it's called but you will know it when you see it. The Carmel cake is a close second. Their tiramisu is good as well. The place is hard to find but worth looking. Omg I had an itch for an eclaire and first bakery I went to looked like their cake's and eclaires were made for a tiny tea party so I left and found this place on Yelp. Omdz am I glad. Deciding was so difficult because everything looked picture perfect! My original plan was to get a birthday cake for a small party, but they had so many cake options I decided to get multiple individual slices of cake in a variety of flavors-chocolate, lemon, strawberry, nut...I think there were 7 varieties. Each one was delicious. I think the nut was my favorite and I'm usually a chocolate girl! I also picked up some baklava and bird's nests. Wow, also really fabulous. Sweet's Zone was an interesting bakery. I happened to see it on the way to dinner and decided to stop and try it. I walked in the shop and no one was in the front. Then a guy comes from the back. He was nice but pretty quiet. He didn't say much past what I asked him. I asked a few questions before I made my decision on what I wanted. This wasn't a typical bakery either. It had the typical cupcakes, cakes and cookies, but the way everything was set up was different. The cupcakes were packed in packs of four and the macarons were packed in a pack of twelve. They weren't sold individually. They had cookies all over the counters in containers and it looked at little bit of a mess. They had cake slices with no labeling so I wanted to know what cakes were what flavors. They also had an entire case designated to cookies like thumb prints and other types. Not your typical bakery with chocolate chip cookies, Oatmeal, and etc. It was also misleading because when I walked in I see regular decorated cakes sitting on the counter, but when I went to look in the displays it was different. After asking a few questions I decided to get the Orange Mousse Cake. I normally am not a fan of Mousse but I decided I would give it a try. I bought my slice of cake and took it to the car and took a bite. The very top layer of icing or whatever it was, was weird. It had a weird taste and was slightly tart. Once I got past that the cake wasn't too bad. The cake itself was moist and tender. It definitely had an orange taste. The orange flavor was present but not overpowering. The cake was just different. I actually only took one 1-2 bites and didn't eat any more. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't what I liked or what I am use too. Overall, this bakery was a different bakery experience that what I'm use too. It's wasn't horrible but I wouldn't go back. They didn't have anything that just really stood out to me to make me want to come back for. read more

We found this gem by happenstance and haven't looked back. Their baklava is like little slices of heaven and their cakes are as decadent as they look. Been here twice and they have not disappointed. Great spot for dessert, you can get individual cakes and cookies, along with big orders. They also have different kinds of baklava. We've passed by Sweet's Zone a coupe of times without giving it much thought. I'm not sure how long they have been open. But I'm glad we finally stumbled in. I'm pretty sure this is a Greek owned bakery as there is an abundance of different baklava, some different cookies and a few different types of cake by the slice. We tried a $10 baklava sampler and it was so good. We also tried a piece of orange cake that was less stellar. But come here for the baklava and ggive the other stuff a try. My whole family and I love the treats and cakes from Sweet Zone Bakery. Our favorite is the vanilla cake with whipped strawberry filling and whipped frosting with the glazed fruit on top. That cake is a hit with everyone! The treats and cookies are mostly of traditional Arabic recipes such as Mamoul (date filled cookies), among many other treats such as Baklava and Knafa. Some cookies are also created with modern twists, all of which are very delicious every time. I would love to see more macarons from this shop, and I love their recipes for cupcakes, cakes, the frosting, and the fact that it is halal! Giving this place one star because the cake is delicious, but the owners/workers suck. Stopped in to pick up a $3 slice of chocolate mousse cake, was told credit card minimum was $5 so we got two slices. It was so good that I decided to have them make my birthday cake. My girlfriend called to order the cake on Tuesday for pick up at noon the next day, they told her it wouldn't be ready until 1pm. OK. Ordered a half sheet chocolate mousse cake, the man on the phone asked if we had ever had the cake and she answered that yes, we had purchased it by the slice. The cake we purchased by the slice was chocolate cake, chocolate mouse, chocolate icing with chocolate shavings on top. Nothing white chocolate. I picked up the cake on Wednesday, paid $100. Got the cake home and it wasn't what we ordered. This cake had no chocolate mousse, just layers of vanilla cake, icing and chocolate cake. With chocolate icing piped on top. Immediately called to ask if there was anything that could be done, because I paid $100 for a cake that wasn't what I ordered. Was told that was the cake I ordered and if I wanted the all chocolate cake I should have just ordered chocolate cake. Was told that the cake I took home was their chocolate mousse cake, even though it doesn't contain any chocolate mousse?!?!?!? Was told to try the cake that I was sold, that I might like it. He also told me that they usually close at 8pm but stayed until 10pm just to make my cake. How is that my problem? I paid $100 for a half sheet of cake and they were not willing to help rectify my issue in any way. Happy birthday! Completely rediculous if you ask me. I will never purchase anything here again and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
