I have heard so much about this place recently and I love a good sandwich so I know that I had to stop in ASAP. I stopped by for a quick lunch during the week and wanted an easy to-go sandwich. They have a medium sized menu but a lot of different options which makes it a bit hard to pick haha! I decided on a reuben sandwich with all of the fixens inside. I was surprised that I was the only one in there because of the amount of rave reviews. It was a small quaint little place. The employees were suppperrrr nice and gave me a lot of time to think about my order. The vibes in there were very cool with fun music and just overall a good time. Now onto the Reuben. Holy cow! It was juicy and very flavorful, with the perfect amount of sauerkraut. The bread was toasty and the sandwich was nice and warm but not too hot. This was a happy accident. I was on a day trip with Matt and Michael and where to eat lunch became a bigger problem than anticipated. Essentially for me I had waited too long to eat and the idea of waiting longer was a non starter for me. Sandwiches are not my go to food outside the house, it seems silly on some level. This place is small inside and has no indoor seating. There are a few outdoor tables for customers. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I tried the Hot Heidi sandwich (turkey, salami, pepper jack cheese, banana peppers, onion, lettuce, mayo, oil/vinegar on a toasted baguette). It hit all the marks for a great sandwich. The ambiance of the place is just like everyone says, so homey and cute! It feels like a deli counter (go figure) lol but obviously you're getting food, there's no room to sit and they do offer limited outside seating! The service was great the staff was kind and quick, despot being a line they didn't rush me because it was my first time so I wasn't super sure in my choice. I opted for the hot roast beef sandwich with everything on it. It was good not amazing, I think the meat tasted a bit dry, it wasn't necessarily hot and the sandwich definitely would've tasted better with a creamier condiment instead of the olive oil and vinegar. It was my first time so I definitely feel like I didn't really tweak it the way I should've I just wanted to see how they do things but I think I the flavor is definitely there. I would go back and try something else out and maybe customize the sandwich a bit more to my liking if they allow that but overall the food gets a 3/5 for me but the staff and aesthetics were 5/5! read more

Let me start by saying that I used to be carls number one fan and visit at least twice a week for many , many years. Ever since the new owners unfortunately, I've seen a serious downgrade in the quality of the sandwiches. The line also takes twice as long and now typically you are waiting 30+ minutes for a sandwich. Today we went back after a long break and my husband's BLT had absolutely raw bacon on it.
