Service was fast, staff was friendly, bundt cakes were good. Our favorites were the Funfetti and the Oreo. The chocolate chip bundt had a bit of a chalky aftertaste so probably wouldn't get that one again. But this is our second time eating these delicious little cakes and would go back again if we're in the neighborhood looking for a sweet treat. Also the floor was very sticky all over. I first had NBC in Houston, TX maybe like 9ish years ago. It was fantastic!!! A short few years later, my prayers were answered and they opened one in Columbus first, then Cincy. By the time it opened in Columbus, it wasn't fantastic but it was still a great cake. Fast forward to now, I would say it went from fantastic to great, now to very good. Although not as mind blowing as years ago, it's still a very good cake. The cream cheese icing sets it off. You can taste the real butter used (maybe not as distinctly as during the early TX years), but it's still solid. I will never stop grabbing a Bundt cake when I'm in the area. read more

I've been a customer of this place ever since it opened in Hyde Park. They have always messed my orders (not sure how). Usually I place big orders, either the flavors are not distributed in the boxes, or the picks are not placed. Recently, I placed 2 orders to be picked on 2 consecutive days. They decided to give me the orders on the same day, which for them is not a bug deal, but for me it was (If their bundtinis are baked fresh every day as they say). Later the following week, I placed an order to be picked at 11:00, my husband stopped by at 3:30 pm because we got busy in the morning. The order wasn't ready. And when they gave him the order, the picks were not placed on the bundtinis. We had to do them at the party. So, yes their bundtinis/cakes/bundlets taste good SOMETIMES, but their service isn't. No matter how they change their sales people, I think it's whoever is making the orders. read more

As always, a friendly and helpful employee greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, and the wonderful scent of fresh baked cake filled the air. They have different sizes of bundt cakes from regular size to bundtlet (individual size) to bundtinis (bite-size) all at great prices and in a plethora of flavors. I opted for four different bundtlets; one strawberry cream, one red velvet, one chocolate chocolate chip, and one pumpkin spice ('tis the season). All that for only $20. Of course, both my lady and I loved them. I think the red velvet was the overall favorite, but they were all ridiculously moist and super delicious. I no longer search for the perfect cake because it has been found. Nothing Bundt Cake has cake + icing figured out. Most shops can do either one great but not both. However, the combination of NBC's moist cake and cream cheese icing is just heavenly. The customer service is always wonderful and the cute gifts for purchase in the shop are always trendy and adorable. If you sign up for their email list, they send out a free bundlet for your birthday and occasional BOGO coupons. If you're looking for a bridal shower/baby shower treat, I highly recommend a dozen or two of the bundtinis... I've never went wrong bringing them to a party. Their bundlets are a perfect, small dessert for two (or one!). Lastly, if you have a big party or wedding, the full size Bundt still packs the same great taste and texture. Immediately when I walked in I was offered a peanut butter chocolate cake sample (such a pleasant surprise and absolutely delicious) and greeted warmly by the women at the cash register. Since this was my first time, the woman patiently answered my questions and provided valuable information about the store. They have a special flavor every 1-2 months and even offer a pumpkin cake during the fall! They offer a variety of different sizes from 8 to 10" cakes to their bundlets that could feed 1-2 people and bundtinis, which are similar in size to cupcakes. You can also order custom cakes with a variety of options. I ordered the red velvet cake for a reasonable price! The cake itself was extremely moist, probably the most moist cake I've ever tried. The flavor also was delicious and I loved that they fold in random chocolate chips--It provided a lovely texture. The reason why I gave them 4 stars is unfortunately because of the frosting. It had a great texture, but it was sooooo sweet. I'm normally a frosting lover, so this was a bit of disappointment. I even had to remove half of it from the cake to eat it. Didn't think I'd turn into a frequent customer but they are my go-to place for a quick sweet tooth fix. The bundlets are all less than $5 each and there are a variety of flavors. Often during holidays they have seasonal flavors like birthday cake (confetti) and peppermint (xmas) . They're moist and flavorful and stay that way for a couple of days too! Every time you walk in there is a sample for you to try which is a great way to venture out and taste a different flavor than my usual chocolate chocolate chip. Frosting is the same on all of the cakes and it's just the right amount. You can order special occasion bundts that are bigger and come with decorations. Also they have mini bundlets that are like cupcake size. Only draw back is you have to get a dozen at a time. And those juicy strips of delicate not-too-sweet frosting is just perfect! I'm not in Hyde Park often, but when i am, i make sure to treat myself to a little bundtlet cake. Yesterday I went to Nothing Bundt Cake Hyde Park to get my birthday treat with my boyfriend. I look forward to it every year and had never had an issue until today. We arrived a 5 minutes before close and they were obviously annoyed we showed up and upset they closed the register near the entrance so we had to walk on the mopped floor (but also why would you mop before closing the store). The guy that assisted us was snippy and said he couldn't get me a custom order when all I wanted was 12 bundtinis, I had the flavors I wanted written down, I didn't need writing on a birthday cake or anything crazy. I would understand if they were out of things with it being the end of the day but as a fellow business owner I don't understand why this was a hard request. It was a bad way to end my birthday and ended my special day on a bad note. I've never had NBC leave a bad taste in my mouth until this. The reason they are getting 2 stars is this is the 3rd time that I have come to this location, which is the closest location to me mind you. So, 3rd time that I came to get 1 of their limited flavors, and they don't have it. This flavor has only been out a week, and you're telling me you don't have it. I could see if it had been out for several weeks, but a week come on. The thing that is funny is that I call the Mason location, and each time, they still have the flavor. With that said, I could not taste anything special in the bundt cake. Coming from Germany, I had my fair share of bundt cakes and have to say these ones were not great. Sadly, it is a chain and the cakes taste like store bought cupcakes, full of artificial flavorings and the aftertaste of processed food. I offered to bring Bundtinis but unfortunately I ordered from this location instead of another one. I was confused by the streets and didn't realize the error until we tried picking it up at the other location. The employee at this location said they were unable to refund my order but they could give me store credit. I don't live in Ohio so it doesn't help me to have store credit in another state. I feel confident that they can sell the product to someone else, and was disappointed that they would not refund the order. It's bad enough to pay $36 for 12 small cupcakes but I ended up paying $72 because of my honest mistake. Im disappointed. read more

Ok so I received one of these babies as a present at Valentines Day. Let me first say that I actually dont like cake, at all. THIS is NOT a cake!
