Everything is just okay and it is bar food . The bartender was nice , you order at the bar and they bring the food out to you . I ordered wings well done ( fried hard ) which they were not . Nothing worse than a flabby wing. You can eat indoors or out. In addition I had a margarita which had too much like , which could be a result of it just being a premix . Stopped in for a late lunch and a beer flight. Had the beer cheese burger, shared the mac n cheese bites and my daughter had the Rueben. The mac n cheese bites were stellar! Her Rueben was good, the burger was decent. I was happy with a varied and interesting tap list. There were lots of regional beers from Dayton to Lexington. Also a good selection of beer to go, the single can prices I thought a bit high. Overall, I would return. While the Casual Pint does have some positives, overall, it was just OK. The high tops and regular seating were fine, but nothing special. Parking gets packed quickly, making parking hard to find near the establishment. Placing an order at the counter was a bit of a letdown. It felt like a very impersonal experience and lacked the personal touch that a sit-down waiter/waitress would provide. It would be nice to get the food and drink recommendations from the staff. When I asked, they didn't offer much help. She shrugged her shoulders. They do have a lot of different beers. I expected to find some rare or lesser-known brews, but instead found a lot of the same ol' same ol'. I wish they had more cider options. The food was the most disappointing part of the visit. While they do offer food options, it was basic at best - nothing to write home about. The only redeeming quality of my visit was the trivia. It was moderately entertaining, but it did not save the night. Overall, I would say that Casual Pint is decent for a casual night out with friends, but I was expecting more. It's a fun little place. The feel is warm and welcoming. Tablets are spaced out nicely. We've been a few time over the last month or two. Great variety of beers with color coded selections which help decide what to try. I also enjoy the food! They have a good variety of stuff but also not too big of a menu to be overwhelming. We have given this establishment several chances hoping things would turnaround. Sadly it has stayed the same with the manager who is rude and short. It is not welcoming and the food is so-so. The beer selection is diverse and no complaints there. The last time we were there, we were waiting for our tab. All of the staff and manager were standing listening to the TV. Nice not really a big place but does have a nice bar area. They also have a big selection of craft carry out beer. And love the way they present it by types of beer. Service was good nice friendly. Prices good. Had the brat with pretzel bun and wife had flatbread pizza. Both we very good. My only complaint was the rotating craft beer tv board. Call me picky but please it changes too fast. I have tried to like this place but it is just not acceptable. I will not be back. Bought a "limited time" mug a few years ago for $85 that was supposed to be filled for $1 off each time,.. forever. And it was several ounces larger than their regular pint . Tonight, they filled it WAY short. I asked them to top it off and they refused. "This is the new fill line". They would not budge and I was told that others had overfilled me in the past. Ridiculous. read more

I was denied service because I had my service dog with me. The manager (I did not get his name because I was on the verge of a panic episode) told me that he was advised to not allow service dogs which is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and is illegal. If you enjoy an indifferent staff that eats while they are working, then this is the place for you. When you walk in, you are not sure whether to order at the counter or what exactly to do because the staff executes a high level of ignoring. I felt as if my mom had gotten to them 40 years ago and told them not to say anything if they couldn't say something nice. And unlike me, they listened. The food tasted like something I got at 7 eleven back in 1990 when I was in college and would microwave the burritos and then stuff them in my denim jacket and steal them. What sucked, is I paid for this stuff. I knew I was In trouble when I asked one of our 5 ceiling watching waiters if the chicken parm sandwich was any good and he said. "I dunno, but the owner ate 3 of them". Good beer, with a cool digital rolling board of all they have to offer. What sucked is they don't actually have all of them. "What we got is written in chalk up on the other board". Met up with several friends for our annual get-together and so thankful that Casual Pint has a tent with a heater so we could meet up safely and comfortably outside! It wasn't crowded and was a little chilly (wear your coat!) but was a way to enjoy great beer and food together . Found several beers I liked-thanks to bartender who offered tastes. To eat, had one of the brats (delish!) and tasted the chicken bacon ranch Flatbread with cauliflower crust (yum!) First visit here. New venue across from municipal brew works. About 30 crafts on tap. Good variety of lagers, ales, stouts, porters and ipa. They had the Hershey bar porter on tap which was like drinking a chocolate bar. They do have a nice food menu. Sandwiches, flatbreads, salads. I had potato skins topped with Cincinnati chili and sour cream and cheese. It was amazing. Only downfall is the venue is somewhat small overall. Really love the setting and location! Customer service is very good. But it DESPERATELY needs beer outside of the Cincinnati/some Ohio region. When it first opened, there was huge variety from across the country. Now, it is everything I can get at any other rando bar. First visit here with another couple. Walked in and sign said to seat yourself. We waited several minutes and no one came to the table to wait on us. That sign is very deceiving. One at our table went to the bar to ask if we would be getting waited on and was handed menus and told that orders are placed at the bar. It would have been nice to know that. Looking around now and I don't see any sign saying as much. That being said we did place our order and the cost for two meals and beers was reasonable and the food came quickly. Certainly not made from scratch food but not bad really for the price. It was midweek and quiet which was nice as well.
