Fun! Good clean fun - and a bar to boot. This is a happy place. I love an arcade and this one is excellent, with three dozen or more pinball tables along with a Ms Pac Man, target shooting game, punching bag game & some other retro stuff. No Defender, sadly, but I'll make a request on my next visit. Paying for the games is done 21st Century style, with a magic card that you tap on the machine and it takes the credits you've paid for. Easy to reload your card either at the bar or a handy self-service kiosk. Speaking of the bar they have many many beers on tap. Hot food (sandwiches, spaghetti bowls, wings) is available too. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here but I came for the games, man. The big back room has table seating and features lots of kiddie games plus claw machines. I saw some really attractive prizes but the machine was a bit costly so observe the amount of credits before you tap. In a brilliant move there is also a row of pinball back there, so the whole family can find something to enjoy and keep the kiddies out of the bar. There is plenty of parking, most of it free on the street or in the parking lot opposite the outdoor seating area. It was great to get my hands on a pinball game and also play Pac-Man! We were in town for the weekend, and just had dinner around the corner. Restaurant staff recommended we come here for some entertainment, and we are so glad we did! We had a ball checking out all the vintage pinball machines, and we played a few games. There are multiple rooms full of a variety of different games, including claw games and all sorts of other arcade games. It was fun checking everything out and killing some time. read more

Fun place! Food was decent staff was friendly. Plenty of pinball machines. Most take 5 credits to play. You purchase credits on a game card. I bought 40 credits for $10z. Brisket sandwich for me, BBQ pizza for my wife. Overall a fun couple of hours. Recommended if you are in downtown Hamilton. read more

If pinball is your favorite arcade game, this is the place to go. 30 different pinballs to choose from! From old school to newer games. My Mr and I had to check it out! You walk in and I really like the set up. Spacious and clean. The gaming is spread out with seating/tables on the sides/front if you want to lounge, eat or take a break. You purchase the tokens at the front counter. My Mr started off with $10.00 worth. The pricing varies. Some take 2 tokens for 3 ball games. But for the most part, it takes 4 tokens for 3 games. My favorite was the Addams Family, Funhouse, Led Zeppelin and Madalorian. There are a couple of non pin ball arcade games in the building as well. Want refreshments or a drink? They have a bar in the back with TVs to watch games. They have beers on tap (which is a great selection), mixed drinks, canned beer as well. Hungry? They also have a kitchen which serves BBQ. My Mr and I only had a couple of beers. My only negative experience is a couple of the pinball machines were down. My Mr really wanted to play Alice Cooper but it was out of service. But besides that, it was really fun and I recommend you check it out if you are pinball geek. read more

I've been a pinball fan since I was a kid, so whenever I find out about a possibly good pinball spot, I HAVE to check it out. Plus I've turned my lady into a pinballfan too. When we found out about Pinball Garage, we knew we were going soon. Was it worth the trip? I would vehemently say yes. They have lots of great tables, both old school and new. Plus they're spaced apart nicely and the place is kept very clean. They also have a full bar with a great beer selection. Hungry? They serve BBQ in house. My lady and I didn't try that, but it did smell really good, so maybe next time. The one thing I didn't like was that there were a few tables out of service, four to be exact, and two others weren't working properly. Yeah, I understand maintenance can be tough in a busy place, but to me, that was a few too many tables down. Still, all in all, I'd go again. Definitely a good pinball spot for kids and adults alike. I'm hoping one day to see my favorite table there, Creature From the Black Lagoon, but their selection is still pretty awesome. My favorites were Jurassic Park, Stranger Things, the old school Harlem Globetrotters, and The Twilight Zone. I have a feeling that my lady and I will be back again for another pinball fix. read more

The pinball selection is second to none for the tri-state area. If anything goes down, the staff promptly adds more game credits to your card to make up for it. Drinks are poured a touch heavy-handed for me, but it just means a cheaper night out. All in all, I've adored Pinball Garage and was sad to move - there's simply nothing else like the options they've got. read more
