It's spotlessly clean, private, and has a comfy rocking glider, a wall-mounted changing station with safety straps, a sink with soap and sanitizer, tissues, and even a TV. There's a "vacant/occupied" slider on the door so you get real privacy. Nursing and pumping moms, you will feel taken care of here. Clean, clean, clean. The whole facility is immaculate. You can tell they genuinely care about upkeep. Come on time! They close for an hour between play sessions and actually turn the lights off--which I love, because it gently encourages the "I want to stay forever" kids that it's truly closed. Smart and considerate. Something for every age. Older kids get a Ninja course and a play area, and the littles have their own HUGE dedicated section. I've never seen anything like it--the space is incredible. Snacks & drinks for the grown-ups too. However, the skating aids (the little rolling walker-type creations) were $7 a piece to rent for the evening. The women's bathroom was very clean. Interestingly, the sinks, mirrors, and hand dryers are outside of the restrooms. Inside is only the stalls. This creates a nice flow of traffic and avoids any traffic jams inside the restrooms. That said, all the preteens and teenagers had to do their primping outside the restrooms and fully visible to everyone inside the skating area. While the party included pizza and drinks, many of us bought food items from the concessions area before the food came out. The food was a bit slow coming out but everything was good and the fries were top notch! I'd definitely come back just for the arcade or just for skating. It seems that doing both would be a much larger time commitment, and enough to fill a major block in the day if you wanted.

I have been coming to this skating rink since I was a child and have consistently attended adult skate night for over a year, which is why this experience was especially upsetting to me. The first issue occurred at the snack counter around 11:49 PM. I politely asked for a cup of ice water and was told the stand was closed, even though the posted closing time was 12:00 AM. Less than five minutes later, I witnessed another customer being helped at the same counter. When I calmly asked why I had been denied service while another customer was assisted, I felt the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. The second incident occurred on May 6th and involved my skate stoppers. One of my stoppers accidentally fell off before I could fully attach it, and I was trying to figure out a solution while also asking staff whether anyone had found the missing piece. I explained the situation respectfully and made it clear that I was not intentionally breaking the rules. However, I felt I was spoken to sarcastically and treated unfairly by a manager during the interaction. When I attempted to remove myself from the situation and seek help from another employee, I felt further confronted rather than assisted. The interaction escalated unnecessarily, and I was ultimately asked to leave and denied a refund despite trying to calmly explain my situation. I completely understand the importance of enforcing rules and maintaining safety. However, I believe all customers should be treated with fairness, professionalism, and respect. As a long-time customer who regularly supports adult skate night, I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and disappointed by how the situation was handled. My experience of this park keeps on getting better and we ended up this time going on the busiest days like Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I went one day on a Thursday, but that is when we landed. We usually tend to get here an hour and 15 minutes early as they open the gates right at 9:00am. I recommend going to the not self serve parking as for some reason my phone did not scan to open the gate and it is easier for the person to scan the phone. If you are having trouble someone will come and scan for you. For Gold and Prestige members we got to into the park 30 minutes early and they opened up Diamondback, the updated Phantom Theatre and Great Pumpkin Coaster. If you have a regular ticket, you can explore the shops or wait at your favorite ride. I like the Peanuts characters are in one showplace too so you can go visit them. Here are the places I ate at as I have the meal pass: 1. Sports Bar - sit down place, food takes awhile to get, but you are relaxing at a table, while they come and give you your food. This place gets crowded 2. Mexican Place - not too bad, guacamole is extra however 3. Paris French - had the shrimp sandwich, but the chips were salty, bread has on the hard side 4. BBQ - I did not try it, but the meat looked really dry 5. Tom Chee - this place is good, but only if you like greasy sandwiches. Very filling for sure I recommend getting the blue ice cream and the red soda only available on selection locations. I tend to have at least one cup and ice cream per visit I did not buy too much merchandise this time around, but I like the Snoopy Store to visit. Shows For some reason, they do not do any Peanuts shows anymore. We watched Brad Ross, illusionist and he was fun to watch and a 50 minute show. We watched his show 4 times, but sometimes it was a way to escape the heat and take a nap and figure out how he did some of the tricks. Seating is comfortable. They do have live entertainment like dancers or singers in some areas. They do have the wine festival, but we did not buy a card since we have a meal plan. Rides (I rode the following) and here are my thoughts this time around as they might be different since the last review 1. Banshee - gotton rougher over the years and the vest restraints got tighter on me 2. Drop Zone - this ride worked on the last 2 days, show operations, but recommend to ride once 3. Congo Falls - sometimes this operates on certain days, but fun to get soaked 4. Bat - an okay ride, only ride it if the line is short 5. White Water Canyon - you will get soaked by the geyers, this ride opens from 12 to 9pm 6. Charlie Brown Rushing River - Fun log ride, line moves slow, I wish they would open both lanes. 7. Snoopy Soap Box Racers - fun kids ride 8. Woodstock Twirly Birds Ride - I always have fun being in the helicopter, ride is too short though 9. Mystic Timbers - fun wooden ride, lines are not long on this one 10. Diamondback - this line tends to get long for some reason and can be longer than Orion 11. the Beast - we like doing a day time ride which line is very short and night time ride line gets long. They do shut the ride down at 9:30pm for the fireworks show and reopen at 10:20pm. My wife and I sometimes do not get out of the park until 11:30pm. Night ride is definitely worth it. The ride has definitely gotton smoother 12. Orion - definitely one of my favorite rides - I wish they had more shade on the line queue, but lines do move quickly 13. Red Racer/Blue Racer - I prefer the red racer more smoother compared to the blue 14. Windseeker - slow operations on this one, but the line is not long, but a great view of the park 15. Adventure Express - pretty neat ride for visual, but rough riding it 16. Woodstock Air Flyers - this ride tends to get longer, but I find it a little on a shaky side 17. Antique Cars - we like going on this ride. Line might look long, but it ends up being around 20 minutes Rides I did not go on this trip but wanted to Flight of Fear - some reason this line got the longest and I do not know why, but definitely not worth waiting for 40 minutes. I think I rode this ride a bunch when it was raining and all of the other rides were closed. Overall a great time and have a fun time at this park.

The Queen City Express Coaster was the right amount of thrill for me, and my kids thought just about everything was great. Admission was pretty reasonable, and with the wristbands, so is food -- we got two of them to feed our family of five, essentially snacking every 90 min. Highly recommend that strategy. That said, parts of Kings Island are a bit run down, including the parking lot and some of the rides, like the Woodstock Express. Also, the loading process for several rides seemed to be a bit slow and inefficient. Not sure why. In sum, I liked the visit. But didn't love it.

This year's festival wasn't as big as I remember it being in 2019, but my mom and I had a great time on Sunday any way. Last year, there was the addition of the Mother's Day brunch for an extra charge. This year, there were multiple seating times for the brunch as well as carriage rides. I purchased tickets to the brunch buffet as part of my mom's gift. For the $25 option, we got a lovely brunch as well as admission to the festival. The brunch had your typical breakfast options of eggs, biscuits, French toast, pancakes, fruit, muffins, and a table full of tasty desserts. The festival has a living history portion as well as other vendors. There are strolling musicians and storytellers, plus a petting zoo (I think this was an additional fee). We watched some clog dancers and listened to the bluegrass bands on the main stage. We wandered around the vendors and made some purchases. There are vendors that we visit every year to stock up on items. Overall, I enjoy this festival and I look forward to getting to spend that time with my mom each year. It makes for a great Mother's Day.

We chose Bicentennial Park because of the proximity to their Airbnb. It turned out to be a great choice as the playground was really cute and in great shape, and the whole play area is fenced in. The parking lot and playground were both clean and we felt good about having our kids there. I highly recommend the spot if you are looking for a place to let kids get some energy out. Some of the playground equipment was unusually tall for a playground, so keep that in mind and know that you might need to run around after your kids should you decide to visit.

She was wanting to find a local park with a water play area where we could cool off on this hot day. On the internet this park was the only one reporting a functioning water play area. We arrived wearing our swim suits only to be very disappointed. The water play zone is the first thing that you see when you pull in and park and the water wasn't turned on! We decided to stay for a while to let the grandchildren enjoy playing outside on the large jungle jim. It has several places for climbing with curving stone like steps, a wall and a rope spider web. There is a long wide ramp making it very handicap friendly. My 18 month old granddaughter who wasn't walking yet spent a lot of time climbing up the stairs. There are several slides of various sizes and colorful interactive displays with parts that spin and turn in addition to the always fun monkey bars and swings. Off to the right of the jungle jim is a small shelter with 2 picnic tables. Today it was being used by a family having a child's birthday party. There's a shaded bench to sit on and watch the children as they run & play in the water that would be raining down from above and shooting up from below had it turned on that day. After about 20 minutes or so we decided to leave because it was so hot out and my grandson was being disagreeable. We drove to a nice air conditioned restaurant after my son-in-law arrived having driven down to Cincinnati upon getting off of work in the ER.
