This review is based off a private event experience. This is the 3rd year I've come here for the timeless industry event. It never disappoints, the staff of full throttle are very thorough on explaining the rules of everything. The go karts are fun because they go 40 mph, the virtual reality has never been working properly so I havent got to try which stinks. The pointless paintball is pain with no paint lol but it's a good time none the less, they also have a jelly version meant for younger kids but its such a small area it wasnt very fun. It's been 6 years since I've been to Full Throttle. Last time I was here was for Axe throwing and was truly impressed. Since I've been absent, they added more seating, a full bar, limited food menu and more gaming. We had a team engagement and decided to do the Rage Room. I highly recommend anyone who needs to blow off some steam. We had a total of 9 people. They have two separate rooms. We split up and each get two sets of glassware and "breakable" items. Extra charge for television and other big items. Rage room is cleaned out before we go in. There are monitors for the employees watch us incase we need them. They provided the protective suits, helmet with headset/earphone, goggles, boots and gloves. You must abide by the rules. We definitely smashed and had so much fun. Felt so good that I wanted to do it again. After our fun activity, we had a drink and some pizza at the bar. Pricing is reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful. The check in process is a nightmare! Not sure what the point is in booking online just to walk in and have to check yourself in using a computer from the 2000's, to then have to get into an additional line to check in AGAIN where the same information you've entered twice is entered a third time! Then they force you to pay for a "membership fee", even if you don't plan to return. They claim you get in free on your birthday however, theres no way of redeeming that. The website is terrible. The place is a scam. it's overpriced and you spend more time checking in than you do actually driving the go-karts. read more

Terrible experience. We were instructed to pre‑register and arrive thirty minutes before our scheduled race time. Our entire group followed those directions and arrived on time. After completing the pre‑race instructions, we were told head directly to the track yet we ended up waiting an hour and forty minutes before our first race. Communication throughout the visit was almost nonexistent. Each time we approached staff for an update, we were given vague answers with no follow‑through. When we finally spoke with the GM, she initially seemed receptive, but there was no meaningful follow‑up and we had to repeatedly seek her out ourselves. Overall, the lack of communication and organization made the experience incredibly frustrating. We won't be returning. read more

It's been a rough year, and this experience truly helped with some adrenaline and rage therapy. Went to the rage rooms and smashed some glass and electronics, and threw some axes. They also have go carts and other things to do there. Took a break between activities to have a drink at the bar. Beyond the activities, what was the best part was the fact the Manager, the bartender, the axe throwing assistant and the person running the rage room were all wonderful. Truly wonderful. It was much needed therapy for me and my husband and having such wonderful staff helping from every aspect of our time there made the time even better. Truly, I thank all of you. read more

My party had a great time at Full Throttle! We got the Adrenaline Pass and participated in two kart races and then axe throwing. The go-karts were crazy fun! We were full on Tokyo drifting at high speed around the track. What was also really cool is that they email you the race results, which show your fastest lap time and place overall. Demarius, the axe coach was awesome. He spent time watching how we were throwing and then gave us one on one quick lessons on what we could do improve. He was very personable and patient (I was terrible), and a great young man. After our visit I also received a 30% off code through email. We have plans to go back already and try their paintball course and race their go-karts again! read more

Did the rage room with a friend. It was just ok. Maybe I don't have enough rage in me. I laughed most of the time. The "pigeons" they give you to throw are really light weight. The glass bottles were better. The TVs are so poorly made, no fault of the Full Throttle, that breaking them just wasn't all that satisfying. For almost $100 I would have expected more stuff to rage against. read more

The kart racing is fun but only when you have a kart that actually runs at a competitive speed. Otherwise the promise of a racing experience is lost. Today my son had five races. Two of those races his kart was at half speed. When I suggested to the attendant the car be taken out of the line up of karts I was told that could not be done unless the cart had stopped. Really? Is this the experience promised? it is not and I suggest the owner of Adrenaline consider how many bad experiences have to take place before people decide to stop going. read more

I have been here several times since they have opened and I love coming here. You really can't have anymore fun behind the wheel of anything legally or unless you go spend thousands and buy a kart and race at a track somewhere. They have ax throwing and even an R/C drift course, which was fun to watch. I use to race R/C buggies off road and these guy really have talent that are on this course, at least while I was there. The have 3 race tracks for the go karts. A small kids track, and two large tracks that on Tuesdays they make into one huge track that is insane. I highly recommend getting here to get your road racing need for speed and really enjoy what you shouldn't do on the interstates of the greater Cincinnati Area. It is cheaper to race here all year than the coast of an expensive ticket and the cost of your insurance going up. I have recommend this place to many of my friends and try my best to bring them here when I can. If you are in the Cincinnati area and feel the need for speed or feel like you want to throw and Ax at some wood, but don't want to ruin your shed or the door of your house. Get in the car and drive here. Just remember after racing a kart here you may forget how to drive your car, so be careful driving home. read more

Such a fun time with all the Yelp Elite. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially with the axe throwing. It was a miracle I hit the board thanks to their tips. I was nervous about the go karts but again the staff was helpful and reassuring. What a blast racing at top speed. I do think I was the slowest. They have one in Florence Kentucky closer to home. Well firstly, I'm only rating 3 stars because the nice young ethnic Mexican girl [I do not know how else to describe her due to me forgetting her name..] made the time I spent here tolerable. I left this place in utter disbelief and annoyance because it was too crowded and busy for it to even be enjoyable at all. This is paintball for goodness sake, do not take more than what you can handle if you don't have enough staff. Words for visitors who decide to walk-in a 2-hour session. My friend and I walked in here at 11:30am and booked a ticket for 2 hour session ($55) package. However, when we completed our 2nd round (spent less than only 1-hour), the staff told us that our session had come to an end because the facility was rented. We asked for a refund or compensation, but the manager came out that he would not offer any of these options Here are the 3 mistakes the Full throttle made 1. The staff did not inform us that our session lasts for 45 minutes. And we did the walk-in, the staff also didn't tell us the starting time of our session. We always assumed that the session lasts for 2 hours, according to the website. 2. The staff didn't inform us of the rental event, which could harm our interest. 3. The manager was super rude and was not intended for all the mistakes that the team had made. He then rudely forced us to leave the building while I was composing this review. The manager stated we have got something worth the value. 4 races ($59) larger than ($63 after tax). Thus he decided not to give us any refund worthy the hour left, nor give us any extra credit in account so we could use when we come back. However, from the customer's perspective, what I paid ($63) is for the time, not how many races. I require the information (not a full session) before making any deal, and the non-transparency made me extremely uncomfortable. The website stated that visitors could walk-in and book the 2-hour package, and that was exactly what we did. However, it seems like the manager could Re-explain the rules by his own words, which led to A BUSINESS FRAUD!!! read more

Had a bit of a issue with the team (kids) running that place. This kids let some other kids tea-bone me with no warning. I even said something to the workers.... Still they said nothing.... Also... The kids racing spun my girl friend out four time the last race until she drove to the pit and quit for the day because she was hurting!!. No warning or talking to from your employees (children)... I'm a regular and plan on going back every other week or so. But if this happens again I will be looks at other options. Paces to go.... Truly unprofessional.... Also I asked the one kid about the ventilation of the building and he laughed at me and said "well the cars make bla bla bla.... He. Mumbled and then said "well if we open the doors it'll just push the fumes from one end to the other". Basically blew me off.... Then I saw a grownup that works there so I said something to him. And he explained to me about the ventilation and how it works and that the doors would cause issue. I thanked him for the explanation and we were good. Next thing you know the ventilators that they said were on came on and the fumes were no longer as strong anymore.... Funny how that works.... My father died from carbon monoxide poisoning and I know a girl who pass out and drowned as well.... Serious shit! Very un-professional crew... read more

This place is just awful. On the surface it looks like a fun place with lots of options for activities so I went here with a large party and it was a terrible experience. The staff is so unorganized and uninformed. I was given incorrect information regarding the adrenaline pass multiple times and it took almost an hour to just get our group setup with ax throwing. There were 6 or 7 people behind the ticket counter but only one 16 year old kid working the drinks and food bar. He was so clearly overwhelmed. Every food item took 15-20 minutes even though it's just basic fried finger foods and the food itself was TERRIBLE. It's sad when basic bowling alley food blows your selection out of the water. They didn't even have ketchup!! That poor kid working the bar looked like he wanted to blow his brains out. Our experience was crappy that we decided to leave after Aw throwing instead of doing the VR and Go Karts like we originally planned. Avoid this place!!! read more

Fast carts and axe darts, get your fix here! With two locations; one in Florence, KY and one in Cincinnati, OH near Tri-Country Mall, it's not a far drive either. I'd heard about the place a few times from their commercials on radio, but when I found out they also have axe-throwing, I figured it's worth checking out. So I gathered up a few friends and we all went together to the one near Tri-county. Word of advise, make reservations if you're going with a group, because the axe lanes book up as FAST too. $20 gets an individual thrower an hour of throwing time, or get an hour and a half for $30... Or even five throws for $5 if you only want an appetizer. The staff were all friendly and took us through all the steps to get ready, from signing our waivers (so we don't sue if we scalp ourselves) to coaching us with axe-throwing techniques. It was a total blast for all of us! It's like darts for lumberjacks! We didn't try out the go-carts, but I checked out the courses, and they look pretty awesome. They have two main courses that they can also combine into one huge adrenaline-rushing race track. I have a feeling we may go back to try that too. Prices vary depending on the style/speed of the cart and number of races. Buy more and save more. If it's a need for speed or a feel for steel, you'll find what you're after here. This place is a joke. staff has no idea what to do. we waited in line for over an hour. we had a 6:30 reserved tickets. did not get our tickets till after 7:30. we all go get ready to put our helmets on and then they pulled us back saying we were not booked together. so we go back to the cashier and then they tell is we will all be together but it won't be till 9:00. WE RESERVED SLOTS FOR 6:30! this is a half assed ran company. I watched staff NOT clean helmets. take dirty ones and put them right back on the "clean" shelf. The no refund is the whole scam part about it. They OVER book so then people who have paid nearly and probably over $100 they won't get their money back because it's non-refundable. This place is trash. Find a different place to blow your hard earned money. I personally paid for two tickets for 6:30. We got 1 race in and that was it. No axe throwing, nothing. Full Throttle in Cincy is fun for the WHOLE Family, no matter the age. This was our first time here and the seven of us had a great time. The go karts, games, axe throwing, paintballing, and the service. The staff was/is TERRIFIC, friendly and very professional. We purchased a green Cronus Tippman . We want to give a shout out to Solomon. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. We tested the paintball gun and it was a blast. My family Highly Recommends your family to visit, whenever you're in Cincy. We will be coming back. Kinda pricey but totally worth it. We spent over 5 hours here and coulda stayed even longer if it weren't for having to travel. 5 STARS all day!!!!! read more

Fantastic, super fun go-karting track, would highly recommend driving go karts here they go really fast. Would not recommend coming here for the axe throwing though the axes are almost to dull and blunt to stick into the target boards and some of the targets were practically falling off the wall or so beaten up even if you did get an axe to hit it would likely just fall out. The go kart preparation may be a little confusing if you haven't been there before but overall it's pretty simple and the staff are friendly and very helpful. read more

I came here to try something new. I honestly didn't think ax throwing or driving karts was for me. I was half right. Ax throwing wasn't my thing. I'm not coordinated and have a wonky body... The ax throwing guy said he thought I was afraid of the ax. Really I was afraid to break me... But driving those karts! Ok, so wearing the helmet did freak me out at first. It's weirdly claustrophobic. Tunnel vision. I didn't expect that. And the kart vibrates. I was worried about my back. But, I guess because I'm smaller, I ended up seated in a sort of booster seat in the car. It took a lot of the jiggling off of my bones. There is a weight limit for driving and if your head is too big for their helmets they give you a refund. My head is a medium. You also cannot bring your own ax to throw. I asked. But you can buy one there. The staff was really nice and helpful. They put my helmet on me... and buckled me in. I felt weirdly childlike and safe. It was good because I didn't know what I was doing. I would absolutely go back to drive those karts. Be aware that you might have to stretch out some muscles after a trip here. I definitely used parts of my body that are grumpy with me. I was informed that they will have alcohol here in the future. I wish they had more food available. It seemed to only be a sort of movie theater food setup. Maybe you can bring your own food in? I don't know but I'm optimistic about that bar! Really, if you're reading reviews because you wonder if this place is for you, it's really worth the try. You might be surprised. read more

Was just meant to be me and one more person from what the MANAGER said, yet it was a track full of people, first time on the track, I got whiplash, bumped, and almost crashed multiple times due to lies and expectations. They also messed up or tickets, we paid for 4 goes. 2 hours of time, got 4 tickets and 90 min before we tried to go again and they refused. No rides! What a joke. And their website doesn't allow you to make reservations or have any updates if they won't be able to accommodate their business hours. When we arrive the manager doesn't greet us, they send their youngest (maybe 13) year old over to tell us we just drove an hour for nothing. When I approached the front desk to ask if they can offer us anything to come back he said no and then tried to give me this long talk about parties of 6 and it being a busy day. With family in from Texas, we planned this evening for a whole week and our kids were all very disappointed. Worst experience ever. Untrained front of house staff and on-site manager led to unnecessary injury, frustration, and public embarrassment. Management insulted us for never having done any of their activities before, blamed us for not visiting their website for activity instructions. The staff let us go into a potentially dangerous situation by not providing proper warning or even ensuring we were wearing appropriate clothing and footwear before purchasing paintball packages for three inexperienced people, including a minor. The paintballs didn't explode on impact and were most likely expired. 100% wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

My son and I went over the weekend and I purchased the weekend pass for him. He is eight years old. I could not believe that there were only two things that he could actually participate in according to what this pass had to offer. I asked the manager if we could possibly substitute one of the activities listed that he was too young to participate in for maybe virtual reality or something else. I mean you can only drive the cars around the track so many times before you become overheated with the helmet and or dizzy. The manager had zero concern that we pretty much wasted our money. There was no type of negotiating anything with him. Between myself and my friend who had two children, this was a total of $150 wasted to drive the race cars around twice and throw some suction cup so-called axes. I do not think we will be returning as we could have spent that $50 somewhere else and my son would've had an abundance of fun. I do not suggest this place for kids under the age of 14.
