The glare is real (sorry). The soft serve mix in flavors are down the left bar.

I like to support local businesses, so when it hit 70° I popped over to a nostalgic old favorite: General Custer's. The soft serve prices are relatively expensive ($2.40 for a small dish) but they have a few unique flavor options. In the machine they have chocolate, vanilla, Dole lime and the infamous "King's Island" blue raspberry. You can also get ~35 other flavors as a mix-in (+$.60). I had the KI-clone blue raspberry, and have to say: it's not exactly a good rip-off of King's Island. It looked a bit too anæmic (pale blue). I was also disappointed to see a bit more of the historic exterior chipped away this season (RIP vintage neon General Chester's sign, my sweet prince). I mostly come here FOR the nostalgia, so once it's all gone I suppose I will be too.

I did something I literally have only done four times while living in Cincinnati for ten years now. I went to the west side. My least favorite side. I was sent a photo of creamy whip from this place and started reading about it. Decided to go as soon as it opened that day to hopefully have to have minimum human interaction. My plan worked and my boyfriend and I were the only two people there our a whole game until we were done and a small family came right then. When we got there a boy was working by himself and trying to get stuff ready for the day but he didn't act annoyed at all that we were already there. He was helpful on what course he prefers and nice. We ended up doing the 18 holes. Which was long enough for me in 94 degree weather at 11 in the morning. This place is very old school Americana style of putt putt. Everything is very self made and cartoon characters around the courses are crazy. They've obviously seen some stuff in their day; seeing how most of them are falling apart. Because they're falling apart we had a couple malfunctions with them when playing. The hole that had a giant rock looking thing on it, the foam was falling out of the bottom of the rock and my ball got stuck in it so we had to fish it out. Also, the hole with the T-Rex, it's hard to even hit the ball into the hole because you can't get under the dinosaur to hit it in. Then when you hit it in you have to get on your knees and crawl under it to get your balls out. The Putt Putt place was decent. I enjoyed it and that's what is important. I would drop $14 on it to do it again at some point. We got Creamy Whip afterwards and the woman working the window was super nice and helpful. We both got "Dreams Cones". My boyfriend got the one dipped in hot fudge with nuts. I got the one dipped in hot fudge with rainbow sprinkles. Both were amazing. They had a pretty big menu and it was decently overwhelming when we got up to it. So I'm glad the lady working was so helpful. They have lots of outdoor picnic tables and seating but we just sat in the car in the AC because we were melting. When Covid isn't a thing, they apparently have a game room and a Bungee jump thing for kids. My only real problems I had with this place are the course pieces are falling apart and my major thing is that they have a giant "Blue Lives Matter" flag on their course. Which grossed me out and was a big "What am I looking at on this Putt Putt course?" But also, not surprised coming from a place named after a guy who murdered a bunch of Native Americans. Ya know? I just want to play putt putt be taken away from reality for a minute. If you're stir crazy and need go get out of the house but don't want to be around a crowd of people. Or if you just want some good creamy whip, hit this place up.

This place is a west side icon. Come for the golf and stay for the ice cream. The prices are ultra reasonable. This is the only place in Cincinnati to get Dole fruit flavored soft serve. See owners Keith or Kathy. They will take great care of you. You can have your kids birthday there or have an office lunch! They do all kinds of golf outtings! Countless desert options sure to please anyone!

Updating this to one star. This place is a disaster for mini golf. I would bulldoze the place and start over. Absolute trash to pay $6 for this place. I wouldn't have fun playing for free if that tells you anything. The course is so mistreated that I wouldn't spend money for the ice cream. Instead I went to Graeters next door. My reviews are all positive on yelp so this is the truth. Save your money and drive somewhere else for fun

My favorite local ice cream. Their specialties are always good and fresh. Plus they have putt-putt, and other fun activities.

Course is old and in poor condition, rotted wood, bumpy greens, run down looking place.

It began by having a full cup of water accidentally dumped on two members of our party with barely a mention of apology, then being given no choice but to be on a single check for our party of 10 (due apparently to the hostess seating our party before all members had arrived, even though we said we didn't need to wait on them and they could get their own table when they arrived). We were then ignored for about 15 minutes after placing our food order, leading to several members of our party going to the bar to request drink refills. Later, after mistakenly placing similar hamburger entrees in front of the wrong guests (one with a side of extra pickles and one without), our waiter literally took the plate with the extra pickles away from the guest after they had already begun eating and put it in front of the other guest so they could grab the pickles, then returned the plate to the original guest. Finally, when a member of our party asked for a glass of ice water later in the meal, our waiter looked around our table and saw a full glass of water in front of another diner at our table and said, "here's a full one!", placed it in front of our thirsty friend and then walked away. Really?!? He was either completely untrained or simply inept, but it made for a terrible dining experience. The food was decent, but the menu largely consists of fried and high-fat foods. The mini golf, on the other hand, was creative, challenging and fun. It was unlimited play across three 9-hole courses. At $26 per person it is not cheap, but if you have time to play a lot of holes it is a fair value. Digital scoring and uniquely themed holes made for an entertaining experience. Hopefully the restaurant side of Par 3 will quickly match the golf side of the establishment.

For many weekends in a row, I have walked in on a weekend day trying to bowl and have been instantly turned away because they apparently don't have space. I keep trying because it's a fun place and something to do, but I don't recommend visiting without a backup plan because they'll probably turn you away too.

Took 35 minutes to get through the games I went up to the lady who rang me up and I asked if it's possible to get a refund and she said well since you guys already played I can't do anything about it. So I asked can you add 25 minutes onto our lane(no one was there). And she said no. I said well it doesn't make sense if I paid more than the hour price is. She rudely said "how long do you think a game is" (I told her I didn't know how long bowling games take, because this is the first time I've gone bowling). and she then told me you can come back tomorrow and you can talk to Charles. I said there's no one who can help me out tonight? And she said no. I asked for a receipt and it took her 10 minutes to "find" the receipt. (Which I think she pocketed the cash and didn't write up a receipt).....She handed the receipt to me and I said ma'am this is wrong, she waved me off. As shown below Receipt 1: a charge of $43.50 on card (I had paid in cash) Receipt 2: and another receipt for $3.50 that my sister had covered. Total: $47 for 35 minutes of bowling is absurd.
