It's been a year since we've been here and we decided to come back and play putt putt and try the food this time. What a fun place! We love the addition of the covered seating. The plants and decor make for a nice vibe. The place was hopping- lots of groups eating, drinking, at the driving range, and playing putt putt. It is still a steal with $9 all you can play putt putt. We also loved our dinner. The salad was a nice surprise! Very fresh and hit the spot. It's the perfect place to play 1 of the courses, eat / drink, then try the other course.

The Acres is one of our family favorites. We often stop here after our kids events to sit outside, enjoy dinner good eats, and some family fun. The service is always great and we don't have to wait long after ordering to get our food. Everything on the menu is great so I don't necessarily have a favorite. But this last time when we stopped in, I had the smoked chicken salad Sandwich and boy oh boy was I surprised. Not only was it a tasty sandwich, but the chicken was really smoked! The flavors came through so good that I honestly intended on snapping a picture but couldn't stop after the first bite. They've recently added an enchanted lighted forest for the evenings, I can't wait to stop in and check it out. To be honest, the owners are always thinking of something new to keep it fun and keep us coming back.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. We came hungry and the food was surprisingly delicious. Husband got the fried chicken sandwich w spicy aioli & I got the bacon Mac and cheese. The ambiance was amazing so well decorated, even the bathrooms! Appreciated the pollinator friendly landscaping. The course was so clean and well kept. Awesome drink selection and the guy working was so nice! We missed out on the heirloom tomato sourdough, so we will have to go back!

Was thrifting next door when I started craving a burger. The Acres came up and showed they had a little restaurant. I drove next door and it looked like it offered a lot more than just a driving range. There's a huge play / chill forest area, I saw put put, driving range, who knows what else. But I had my eyes set on the food. Parking lot was busy but walked into a almost empty bar, there was a little kitchen setup but in a cool homemade hipster way. Chef was a cool dude and let me know I placed my order with the bartender, who also was a cool dude. Tried a sample of the house ipa (review on untapped) got a pint of it and waited patiently for my burger. A lot of people came in and out ordering food, getting a beer, closing their tab, it wasn't dead by any means, but the bar only had 10 seats or so and I was the only one besides one guy and his son. I'm sure most people sit outside. Anyway, the burger came out and it was fire. Pretty good burger I'd say, the sauce tasted good but didn't blow me away. Most places offer and single and double, double here is $15 and I got fries so idk if that was added on or came with it, the bill one just the total. I usually get the double now off the rip because chances are the ratio is better like that and in this case I was right. Came out looking good. The bun could have been a little crispier in the center, but I get that's how it is with flap top sometimes. The set up was nice though and flavor was great. Just not my favorite burger ever. Fries were great, crispy and salty, like McDonald's, just not as much. For $15 and potentially added fries I'd say 12-13 sounds more reasonable but I'd come back forsure to try the games and new food items!

Check them out! It's a fun place to enjoy good food and family fun. Their team is friendly and the owner puts a lot of effort into making the Acres a special place to hang out. Be sure to check out their Lighted Nature Walk. It starts November 6th this year!

We stopped here for a quick lunch on Mother's Day as I had heard good things about the food. Small menu, down right. Everything was excellent quality and place has fun vibe. VERY family friendly. We will be back to putt putt together next visit and to check out the glow in the dark playground

My Mr. has been wanting to play mini golf for almost a year but time has slipped us by. I've googled so many places but was not impressed of what I found. The only mini golf I've been to is The Fairfield Fun Center many years back and enjoyed it. I wanted to go somewhere different. My Mr. mentioned this place. He saw it on Instagram. Definitely interested! We went on an early Saturday afternoon. They serve food. VERY small menu but what they serve is simple yet delicious. Sandwiches, Salads, Hot dogs, Pretzels and kids menu. Drink menu has a good selection as well. Cocktails, Mocktails, craft beers on tap and refrigerated canned beers. Many to choose from. I ordered the loaded tots with and paired it with a Pilsner beer from North Coast Brewing. My Mr ordered the All beef kraut hot dog and paired it with a Pilsner Krombacher (imported from Germany). The food was amazing! Couldn't wait to play mini golf after that. You can keep your tab open and get drinks throughout the day. We got Coors light beer while playing. They do mini golf and driving range. The place is so big you can enjoy drinks at their patios and lounge chairs outside. Patio chairs are spread throughout. I've seen customers just do that or just have lunch. The place is so laid back and very relaxing. What made me a fan is the landscaping and how they keep the place clean/maintained. We got a score card and you can play 2 courses of 18 holes. Best part, UNLIMITED! That's a bargain and the pricing is reasonable. Some were difficult and tricky but it's all in fun. I got 2 holes in one! We had such a great experience and can't wait to come back. We're sure to bring our friends.

    CAN you dig it?

I'm definitely a geek who loves mini-golf. I have since I was a kid. Though these days you don't see many mini-gold places outside of the Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area. That is until I saw a post about The Acres on Instagram and knew my lady and I had to go. 36 holes of mini-golf, a driving range, plus a nice food menu and libations. That says all win to me. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. We decided to have lunch before hitting the mini-golf. The bar/dining area isn't huge on the inside but does have LOTS of outdoor seating and a couple shaded spots when it's a little too hot. The staff were all super friendly and attentive. After perusing their menu for a bit, we decided to get the loaded tots, an all beef kraut hot dog, and a side of fries as well as two brews (a Krombacher Pilsner for me and a North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner for me lady). Their can beer selection is nice plus they have more selections on draft. They also have wine and a full bar. We didn't wait long at all before our food was ready and everything was good. For the mini-golf, you buy your games at the bar and it's unlimited play for $10 a person for adults, so you can play as much as you want. Once you walk out of the back of the bar, one course is to the left and the other is to the right. Both are fun and pretty challenging for any skill level. As for the scores, my lady won the first course, and I won the second course. I could absolutely see us going back again for another round of both mini-golf and libations. I could even see hitting the driving range in the near future. I really like this spot.

They have let some kind of rot creep under the greens. We have watched it get worse consistently over the past month until the last weekend when they were completely unputtable. To make matters worse the greens and much of the fairways were hard pan. I knew we were in trouble on the very first hole when I had a 100 yard lob wedge straight down the chimney that landed on the front of the green bounced 5 ft high and rolled off the back. To make matters worse they raised prices this year and have let the course go to crap. I really like this course but it is simply not worth the money. I really want this place to do well but won't be playing it again unless it gets significantly better. We made a tee time on the course for the next weekend at elks run. It's worth a few dollars more to us to not have to put up with the aggravation. I figure over the last 3 years we've spent at least $8,000 at twin oaks. I just don't know how they're going to survive.

For older kids, this looks like the real deal. It's clean, there's a big covered picnic area, swings galore. I believe you do have to pay sometimes but I really don't know. We had a lot of questions since it was our first time and no one seemed bothered by that, which was refreshing. Before we got a bay and started golfing, we decided to grab lunch and enjoy the vibes. We ordered cheesy macaroni bites and kickin' popper dip as our apps. They were both delicious! The mac bites had a thicker, crunchy coating that was divine and the Mac itself melted in your mouth with each bite. It came with a side of ranch and a side of 'creamy tomato sauce' that tasted similar to tomato soup. The kickin' popper dip was served with kettle chips and was equally as good. For entrees, we got the patty melt and the fried chicken heat-wich sandwich. Both were excellent! I'll let the photos speak for themselves. The patty melt was a little on the messier side, but nothing a couple napkins can't fix. After eating, we got set up with a bay and did an hour of golfing.
