This is to the jerk owner that commented on my review. It was your establishment.. sorry for the bad news. We were sitting at the end of the bar so I couldn't really see how many you had on tap. Nor did your bartender offer any information on what you did have. This was early Saturday afternoon. Learn to take criticism of your establishment or find a new business. If the comments from this business owner, don't deter you from coming in this place I don't know what would.. bad service, bad food and very unprofessional. I met a few friends here for dinner, we sat at the bar. First let me say the water doesn't taste like Hamilton water, sadly not many areas do. So I switched to Mr Pib. I read here on Yelp that the fish and chips was good. Well I will agree to this. I really liked the fish and chips. I was told the Rubin is good as well. I may have to come back and try it as I love a good Rubin. I also got the bread pudding. It was unique, I love making bread pudding myself so always like trying others. This version, it is a large piece of bread that is kind of like a huge piece of French toast. Now don't get me wrong it is very good in its own way and yes I would order it again, to bad they didn't bake in some chocolate chips or health bar chunks in the bread. The place is very clean and reminds me of a British pub, I was told it use to be the Cock and Bull, so that does sound like the interior would fit that name. The staff were very helpful and polite. I read a couple reviews stating the service was slow. I always love hearing that. I spent time through Europe and love the relaxed slow life and the service was the same. People just need to stop being in a hurry. I would recommend this location for some good fish and chips as well as unique bread pudding. read more

First thing first parking was easy and plentiful,also a lot of seating with nice tables and chairs, table clothed, it was on a Sunday afternoon, not overly crowded. Quick attention from the waitress she was very friendly. I forget her name , the atmosphere was calm not a lot of loud obnoxious noise. Service was quick and on point checked our drinks regularly. The Trackside Pub is everything you would think a good local pub would be. It has some what of a feeling of a warm English pub where people would get together and have fun. But don't think that it's just for the locals, everyone is welcome. They offer a complete bar with a good size beer selection from light to craft IPAs. I have tried a number of the food options and everything was great, and the prices are good two. Service is always good because the servers care. They are able to accommodate groups in advance and work with you. My last visit I ordered the ribs and although the sauce is not necessarily unique they tasted great and fell off the bone. The former Cock & Bull on East Sharon Road right on the corner next to the tracks in Glendale OH . Although the name has changed it seemed pretty much the same as I remember from past visits. In fact our server said she has been there for 17 years! Most notably the fish and chips and Guinness on tap were really good. The fish was lightly breaded panko style, and the Guinness poured and served properly. We also had a pulled poke sandwich which was reportedly pretty good. The menu looked good with enough options to suit about any one. Others were talking positively about a BLT wrap that sounded good. It was not particularly busy, but it was mid week. The food was good. I had French onion soup and a salad. The decor is left over from when it was the Cock & Bull. The dining room was understaffed with one server for the whole place. The service was slow and disjointed, although not the fault of the server. There should have been a least one more person working to give adequate service. read more

May 5th, we arrived to hardly anyone in the place. Still, beverage service and food service in not good. Ordered dinner and waited 25 minutes only to find out our food was to go! BS all the way. I've been there 3 times in 30 days and each time, beverage and food service is so slow. No wonder they went out of business before. With the same people there, it will surely fail again! Staff seemed stressed and short w us. We ordered Bread Pudding to go. It was hard and dry. We had to request cutlery.

We were passing through and stopped in for a quick lunch. The menu was extremely limited. I had the fish and chips and was asked if I wanted fries or chips? The fries were good and the fish was ok. Visited on Thursday 12/11/25. ​ my two friends and I got there just before 6:00 p.m. we were the only people on the first floor. The bartender, an older brunette lady, proceeded to ignore us for at least 15 minutes while doing busy work on her register . She finally took our orders and 10 minutes later we got three beers. Mind you, we were the only people in the first floor and we were sitting at the bar. We had tickets to see a movie in Springdale at 7:00 p.m, after serving our beers she disappears for another 15 minutes and comes back and says I'll take your orders in a few minutes and disappears for another 15 minutes. We finally got our food, we all got the same thing, the fish and chips however only one of us got the coleslaw that was included in the item on the menu. We didn't have time to argue we ate and wanted to get a second beer. It took so long to get the second beer that we were able to take about two sips of it before leaving. This is my second time at Glendale Trackside Pub and it just confirms everything I felt from my first visit. 1. Fantastic food. In terms of appetizers, I've now tried the buffalo chicken dip and the bone in wings with spicy buffalo dry rub. The buffalo chicken dip is heavy on the bleu cheese so only order it if you're a bleu cheese fan! The wings were fantastic and the spicy buffalo rub was the perfect amount of kick. Sandwiches - The prime rib sandwich was great! Just a well cooked sandwich with some onion straws and horseradish that complement that meat well. The famous fish sandwich was amazing! Perfectly fried cod with tomato, lettuce, and tartar sauce. 2. Atmosphere - old school, homey vibe. Great, friendly service and friendly customers. I feel like I teleported back into the good old days. Both times I was greeted instantly and checked in on frequently. Also, love how the train blows by the windows every so often. Great overall vibes. Both times I've gone after golf during lunch/happy hour but customers told me about all the events they have at night time so I will have to come back for live music, trivia, etc. Highly recommend and it'll be a regular stop for me! read more

If I could do 0 stars I would have. A group of ladies and I came with prior reservations, on a Thursday night. The service was quite literally the worst I've ever experienced. The salad and soup came out together, after a long wait. French onion soup was so cold the cheese had turned to rubber. Salad ... wrong dressing. Waitress was kurt at best. Took 2 1/2 hrs to finally get a check. Never be back ! read more

"4 Hand breaded chicken tenders fried golden brown" Don't let it fool you folks! These chicken tenders are straight out of a box in the freezer! Along with the tenders the service was bad. I wasn't even offered drink refills and the server visited the table very little. I will give props to the guy who brought all of the food out from the kitchen!
