Cool place. Cool service. Good food. KBBA on tap. What more can you want? I had the fish and chips. They use haddock, which is nice. The breading is yummy, and thin- not obnoxious. 9/10 as far as fish and chips go... lets face it, fish and chips is a 5/10 food, but this is really good fish and chips. Here's where it gets good. My friend ordered shepherds pie. I've had no interest in shepherds pie since the first time I tried it, but when they brought it out, it looked delicious, so I had to ask for a bite... and another one... and another one. She couldn't eat the whole thing, so we got a to-go box... which I stole and ate her leftovers, because this was a stonking good shepherds pie. So yeah.... had an outstanding serving of a mediocre food, and discovered that the first time I had shepherd's pie, it was garbage. Fun place, good food. I'll be back. read more

At the spur of the moment, I decided to swing by this place on St. Patrick's Day. I looked at the business hours of according to the hours posted on yelp so I made it a point to be there at or after 11 AM. The place was busy as heck and it was a little challenging to find parking because it's part of a strip mall and other restaurants on the strip. Also need places for their customers to park. I found out when I got there that it turns out for St. Patrick's Day specifically they open at 8 AM instead of the normal 11 AM. Consequently, the entire restaurant was full, all seats were taken, even at the bar. And because they had Entertainment, starting at 9 AM. They started charging a five dollar cover charge. Not really a big deal when you consider they had a couple bins of live entertainment as well as a DJ who serviced the outdoor seating area later in the afternoon. At the entry table there were a couple T-shirt designs for sale at $20 each as well as free bead, necklaces, gold or green. I was told that at the very beginning at opening they also had little green hats, but I was too late for them. Browse around, everyone was having fun, talking and music was pretty loud, but it was a fun vibe. Eventually, I found a single little table in the outdoor seating area. It's included in some sort of Long tent assembly, which I think is a metal frame covered by a tarp or what almost looks like denim material. When you look across the bottom of the material all the way around the perimeter, you can see the wind blowing in there underneath. In the outdoor exterior seating portion, there were four of those tall large heating elements, but even though I was merely two or 3 feet away from one I only got a little bit of the heat from where I was seated. It was welcome, for sure, but wish I were warmer. Lol. Coincidentally, I also made the mistake of only come in with a hoodie. Again, I thought or assumed they were opening at 11 AM so I thought I'd easily find a spot inside. Also coincidentally it was cold as heck, so cold that sometimes when I talked, my teeth were chattering, and I could see my breath as I spoke The waitresses were great, and the ambience was pretty cool. They had a special St. Patrick's Day menu and from the drink menu, I ordered an Irish coffee, and part to stay warm, and something that was a 50/50 combination of two types of Guinness beer. The game plan to have a hot beverage along with a beer seemed like a good idea initially but then sometime during the meal I switched it so I was drinking the beer, faster than I was the Irish coffee, so the plan backfired when the Irish coffee soon cooled off. Lots of awesome stuff on the menu. I think a little of the pricey side, but I can look past that if I go for a special occasion. Although I wanted to order most everything on the menu, I ended up getting Irish eggrolls (I'm told it's hot seller), and corn, beef and cabbage (you know, because the St. Patrick's Day) both were delicious. I always trim off the pieces of fat off the outside of the slices of corned beef, which I must say were extremely lean, which I appreciate. The cabbage was delicious and I wish there was a lot more with it. And if I'm not mistaken, there was mashed potatoes along with it. Kind of shaped like an upside down bowl like they do in Asian restaurants. It had a delicious, homemade horseradish sauce, and I had to order an extra little cup of it on the side, so I had enough. The Irish eggrolls were delicious and kind of reminded me of a Reuben sandwich, just in eggroll form. The waitresses looked great in there uniforms and were real troopers considering how freaking cold the weather was. If I remember, one of them was wearing jean pants, while another was wearing warm leggings. Bad props to them for braving the weather to serve us people in the outdoor seating area. We appreciate you and your hard work! While seated outdoors, a woman came around and they were doing some kind of drawing that you could participate in. Something like, "win the pot ". Restrooms were fine. I can only speak for the men's room obviously since I went solo. Overall, a fun time. Live entertainment. I think they were supposed to be dancing girls, but I didn't see any. I think it was when I was focused on eating and staying warm. I did manage to catch a guy doing bagpipes though. That was cool. I don't know if she worked for the restaurant/pub, but there was a woman going around offering these little adjustable rings to all the women around the restaurant. That was a cool touch. They look like little gemstones. A definite recommend! read more

My partner and I went for Saturday lunch and the restaurant got very busy after we ordered. They appeared to be accommodating for the large walk in parties that arrived after us. The interior is cozy and colorfully decorated for St. Patrick's day and we chose to sat by the gas fireplace. We ordered fish and chips and wings and the portion sizes were huge. The theming when you walk in feels like what you would expect an Irish pub to loo like (with the exception of the tall ceilings), warm and inviting. The bar is well stocked. Food offerings and portions are very good. Servers are attentive however it seemed like they were a little short staffed (as many restaurants are anymore) so they were very busy. Prices are in line with today's average. The food was tasty (I had the pot roast sandwich and optional garlic mashed potatoes) and well presented. Food was Irish themed with many salty meat options. - Ruben eggroll - eggroll filled with pastrami and a dipping sauce. Salty. Interesting combo. 3 Stars - chicken tenders - dry! I came in with my BFF on a Wednesday. Didn't know till after we got here that Wednesday is hamburger lunch special day. I ordered a fish sandwich with fries and a beer. I don't normally drink a beer but when I do, I am not driving. My fish sandwich was very good, but the burger was so very good. I really loved the fries as well. Our waitress was amazing and took wonderful care of us. The place was clean and had tvs above the bar and music playing. It was a little loud when it got full, but technically it is a bar so... either way I will be back more often. I haven't been here in years and not sure why I stopped coming. Hubby & I stopped in for lunch for the first time. It wasn't busy & we were seated immediately. The ambiance was a cozy Irish pub. Our friendly server brought our drinks & took our order quickly. She informed us that all salad dressings & sauces were made in house. I got Irish egg rolls as my meal while hubby ordered corned beef & cabbage which also came with garlic mashed potatoes. Our food came out in about 15 minutes. I really enjoyed the Irish egg rolls & the accompanying dipping sauce was obviously homemade & delicious. Hubby liked his meal but felt the corned beef was sliced too thin & came out dry/overcooked. He still ate every bite though. We would return here to try a different menu item. read more

Dingle House has a tremendous Irish Pub we found in Westchester. The first we noticed is that it was a very visually appealing restaurant with a cool looking structure and great decor. We started off with an appetizer of Jack Cheese Sticks served with marinara sauce. It was a different cheese stick than any I've ever had as it was almost eggroll shaped with the cheese on the top. In any case the jack cheese was fantastic and fried to perfection. For my main course I got an Irish staple that being the Fish And Chips. The fish was a fantastic haddock that was crispy and delicious served with a super tartar sauce. The chips (American fries) were fantastic as well especially dipped into the tartar sauce. Simply a delicious meal in every way. The wait staff was great as well and all appropriately dressed for an Irish Pub. This was tremendous in every way and I can't wait to come back. read more

We were regulars ....since Summer/Fall 2025 something has happened here. Food went downhill, service too! Let's start with food burger overcooked (I like it juicy pretty red in the middle like eating a steak burger) Has been med well grey and dry. Fish (beer batter usually is greasy but they did it light and drained it well) lately sitting in a plate of grease and soggy/watery. Mike's Pastrami was a great sandwich juicy just perfect....now comes out overcooked and dry. Service people disappearing, messed up orders, won't be returning it seems like they lost a good cook or something and things used to be great here. Drinks and Beer still fine but I'm done after several overcooked burgers after being asked how I like them, greasy fish, dried sandwich and poor service. I gave up!! I don't appreciate the service charge for using a credit card either. I'm done! read more

So happy to return to Dingle House! I'm from Louisville but visit West Chester for business and when this was suggested for dinner I was all in. I visited with two others. No issue grabbing a seat and we went near the fire (be warned that after an hour you're going to get a bit warm, whew!). Service was fantastic. Quickly took our drink and app order, followed by dinner. Items came out in good timing and plenty of check ins. I enjoyed the red ale Smithwicks. I also got the fish and chips. It was good - fish and tartar especially. The fries were average. The pretzels and beer cheese also weren't as exciting as I remember. The bread had the texture of a frozen bread put in the microwave. Love the atmosphere and will be back! read more

I'm in West Chester on business often and stay nearby. This pub has a good Bourbon & Beer selection, and excellent food. I don't eat a lot of fries because I'm old & there are consequences. They have to be worth it. We had an order of the loaded fries for the table, and they were totally worth it! My companions both had the fish & chips with onion rings. They loved the fish, and I got to sample the onion rings. Again, WORTH IT! The fry cook here knows what he's doing. I had the pub burger with a side of broccoli.... because consequences. The broccoli was well seasoned and delicious, and the burger was solid. The next night I came back by myself and had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was excellent! read more

I can't find a reason to give this place anything less than 5 stars. The food was great, their house salad with the balsamic was probably easily one of the best I've ever had. So delicious. My husband had bangers and mash and I had the meatloaf and it was great. One of our friends had the chicken and waffles and he said it was really good. Had a couple drinks and listened to the live music, which was also good. Can't complain at all. We'll go back! Nice server and no wait on Saturday was a bonus! read more

I'm sure they're like many places where they are grossly understaffed; I appreciate this (working in an understaffed profession myself) so I am typically very patient with service. We were seated on the patio; it took about 15 min and 3 apologies from another server to get a server to our table. We had been finished with drinks and appetizer for another 15-20 min when we finally decided to cut bait and ask for the check. The server wasn't rude or anything, but it felt like we weren't even there when especially when bringing multiple drink refills to the adjacent table. It's a bummer because the shepherds pie and fried pickles are great, but it's not worth having your actual server make contact with you 2 times in 45 min. read more

Very rarely do I give a negative review, but from time to time they are warranted. I took my family to Dingle House (as they are brand new residents to West Chester, Ohio) and after we were sat in the back room, we were totally ignored. One waitress walked passed up 5 times and never made eye contact. Two others walked by a couple of time with no acknowledgment. Lost a few customers going forward. My wife, son and I went for lunch. I gotta say that I was really impressed with the place the moment I stepped inside. I ordered the French onion soup, it was pretty good, but I think I'd pass on it when we go back. The cheese and the croutons were excellent, but the broth had a watery taste to it. Then I got the Reuben with onion rings. The sandwich was one of the best I've had and the onion rings (a huge pile) was also very good. The service was A+ but it could have been there were only a few full tables at that time. I highly recommend the place! read more
