This place is awesome! My husband and I were in town for the Bears/Bengals game and, after seeing the great reviews, we decided to stop here for dinner before the game. First, the location is awesome-literally cattycorner from the stadium and the ambiance is great since the owner is from Ireland, the place really looks like an Irish pub (according to my husband, who has been to Ireland many times.) I love the cozy dining nooks dotted around the restaurant. We expected it to be slammed packed and it was busy, but we were able to get right in. We had the best waitress. She was so friendly and really chatted it up with us and made awesome menu recommendations. The food was so freakin' good! Since it was a gameday, they were only doing a limited menu but there was something on there for everyone. We tried the two wings on offer-BFG & Hot Honey, as well as the Big Bag of Fries. The food came out pretty quickly and was piping hot. OMG. The wings were so good. I literally couldn't pick a favorite flavor. I usually don't like thicker cut fries but the waitress assured me that I would like them and she was right! They were so crispy and the Marie Rose and homemade ranch sauces complimented them perfectly. Be aware that the Big Bag of Fries is just that, big! So definitely shareable. I'm obviously not in Cincy often, but the next time I'm there, I will definitely stop in! read more

The espresso martini deal on Thursdays is a must! You get unlimited fries if you order an espresso martini. The martinis are quite sweet so if you don't like that maybe stick to another drink. The servers were nice and it was fun Thursday night vibe. We ordered some other food, the prezel and beer cheese off the secret menu. The pretzel was nothing special but the beer cheese was great! The spice bag was very salty...hard to eat. The Chicken Ceasar salad wrap didn't taste like there was any ceasar dressing on it. The homemade ranch did not really taste like ranch at all. A Bengal's pre-game staple for sure... we had a beer and hung here before a Lions vs Bengals game and were glad we did. Great live music, lively crowd and a true Irish bar vibe. Its very crowded on game days, but it is possible to get a table if you wait or come early. While we didnt eat here, the food looked amazing and was priced fairly. Down on the Banks here having a beer in this Irish pub. Tavern food is served here. A convenient spot for hitting before or after a game. Parking on the street- metered at a box or by app. 2.75 per hour with 3 hr max. Staff at the bar was really good. If you're going, you have to do a Guinness or one of their Irish coffees. read more

Derick from TikTok recommended this place. Said it's his favorite place in Ohio. So we had to check it out on our trip. Greeted right away and the staff was super friendly. Our waiter was the guy from the TikTok and I forgot his name. Shame on me. But was real friendly and helpful. Went over a few menu items for us. The atmosphere was great. It was in a game night for the Reds so fun crowd. My wife got the fish and chips and they were fantastic. I got the menu off their "secret" menu and it was really good. Service was quick. The Red Leprechaun was by far my favorite establishment to visit in Cincinnati. For starters, the service was the best we received. The bar tender came to our table, gave suggestions, refilled our waters without asking, answered any questions we had, was super attentive, and overall engaging. The vibe is pretty cool. Like an Irish bar, but in tones of red and whimsical light-up signs. They have a phone booth you can record messages on that they play on their social media. They also have live music during the day, not just at night - and it was no cover. The drinks were fantastic and priced well. Their espresso martini was by far the best I've ever had. Truly delicious and amazing. I highly recommend that if you're visiting Cinci, or live there, you need to check this place out. read more

Got there early in the evening, so it wasn't too crowded. (More people started showing up around 7:00). Noise level was good. Even with a solo acoustic guitarist singing a great selection of songs. We were close to the small stage and he even asked the crowd about his volume. Ben was our waiter and was quite good at offering suggestions, getting our order, checking on us and making sure everything was good. Food!! We all tried some different items. Started off with the Fries,chips and dips. Fries were done very well, crispy outside, soft and hot inside. Chips had a nice seasoning, the three dips were perfect! A Cinci chili dip, a peppered cheese dip and a malt vinegar aoli. All 3 were delicious. I had the Fish and chips, the batter was not too thick and had a good flavor, the fish was cooked just right and was flavorful. My wife had the Rueben sandwich. The meat was sliced thin and had good flavor, on rye toast with a very nice sauce, something called Marie rose. She enjoyed it immensely. I don't recall everything else the others ordered, but everyone seemed to really like their choices. Oh, can't forget the adult beverages!! The "Espresso Moher-tini" was really good. Suggest you try it for AFTER dinner because it's almost a dessert! But yummy! One of our party had the "Oscar's old fashioned". He said it was a very nice upgrade from a normal old fashioned! Another of our group got the Galway Girl. That seemed to be a big hit! All in all, a really good experience. Live music, great food, great service....definitely worth a repeat visit!! We found this place along the Banks while attending a Reds game weekend. Reviews were strong. The atmosphere is cool - love the red light vibe. But the food and drinks are why you come here. The best fish and chips we've had - fish was crispy and not greasy at all. The fires were the both the tastiest and crispiest we've had and everyone at our table agreed. We also had the shepherds pie which was good. No one had a burger but the reviews are solid for the burgers. This will be a definite must go when we're in Cinci. Also, the service is great as well. We have been sampling Rueben's in Cincy, Newport, Covington for the last few months. Atmosphere and wait staff were fantastic. Food came out quick. A few things...Number one (let's start with a win) the ambience of this place is really cool! The live music was so much fun and the place looks incredible! Second the amount food you get for the price is definitely not right. Though the cheesy fries were good (very crispy) and the sauce on both of the wings were good, they were so tiny! It was not worth it. I have most DEFINITELY had better wings in Ohio. And the burger was, at best average. The service was slow and the attention to detail was not there. I feel like I'm in Ireland! This place has thought of every single detail! The actual bar top is from Ireland, the pictures are from Ireland. Live music on some nights! The music isn't too loud, so you can hold a conversation. The food is all Irish. The beer and drink selection is great! You can tell they have put a lot of detail in every single thing.
