Our server, Grace was quick and friendly. She approached the group of four of us within a minute of us sitting down. We ordered queso app and the broccoli cheddar potato bites app. Also got some salted caramel cider that were perfectly balanced and not too sweet (I was worried it was gonna be too sweet so I waited till my friends got theirs delivered to the table and it was so good). I don't think that there's a bad thing that you could order on the menu. It's great especially for bar food and good portion sizes. If you enjoy being ignored, this is your place. Want to snuggle up with a book or a podcast, yes. Upon arrival, after a wait, Sat at the bar. I got the Thursday Special " Shark Tank". ( only available after 7pm, fyi). I was asked if I wanted a menu, "yes" and got one. After 45 minutes, and a Shark Tank, and a menu (obviously implying that I also wanted food), I flashed my credit card to multiple bar tenders until I got one's attention to cash out and find somewhere else to spend my money on dinner. EXACTLY as I remembered it from 15yrs ago. Still an underrated staple of Cincy! Wings are crispy and sauce is traditional Buffalo. Little hot, little tangy. Staff is top notch. We went to O'Bryon's on Sunday to watch the Kentucky NCAA tournament game. The place was pretty busy as Xavier was playing in the game before. We sat upstairs but the bar was closed. I felt kinda bad for the server who had to go up and down the stairs for a draft beer. We got the appetizer sampler and it was really good. Definitely recommend the broccoli ranch potato skins. The spicy garlic wing sauce was super garlicky, which I appreciated. Buckets of beer are reasonably priced. Parking is kinda tough but that's what you get for the location. My friends and I O'Bryon's. I lived in an apartment across the street for a year and miss it because of how close I was to this place. O'Bryon's has good bar food and cheap beer, but really where they excel is the service and how clean it is. Sometimes when you go into a place like this, it isn't well kept which is off putting for me. O'Bryon's was always clean when I was in there so it gave me confidence to be a frequent customer. So all that PLUS a rooftop patio?! I mean, come on. I recommend a trip here for any occasion really, just know it's often loud. read more

Typical sports bar in a college town. Always crowded, never dull. If you want bar food, you'll get just that. I don't know if it's legal but it sure is delicious. I stopped in during lent for fish and chips and discovered that they cook fries with the fish. The essential element really is the batter which is perfectly crisp and complementary with the cod. The house made tarter sauce is a perfect complement to the fish as well as the freshly cooked fries. By the way, all their other menu items are quite good my favorite being the buffalo chicken sliders. As a bar, their bartenders are friendly, efficient and will provide a great pour of wonderful on-tap beer or a cocktail. It gets crowded during Cincinnati sporting events but that is only half the fun. read more

Finally after passing this place for years we got to try it to enjoy some college football. Great list of beers and drinks. With 2 floors and an amazing wait staff the location has room and service to accommodate an party size with a roof top that can be enjoyed during the warm weather. We started off with a few buckets of beer some great mixed drinks along with appetizers. Queso dip and chips, buffalo chicken nachos and ther take on cheese sticks which I really enjoyed more for the uniqueness then the flavor. Football requires wings I will say that the Nati has many places to get wings this will not disappoint they are above average with some fine sauce. I drive be all the time and I heard about the wings but I normally go for smoked. I've been running into my old reliable places smoking wings to the point of being totally dried out From now on, these are a top choice for me. Since bar and grills often specialize in fish and chips, I thought it was the safe bet. Boy was I wrong! Take a look at my photo. The fish portion was as long as a French fry. AND..... they gave me three pieces. (Feature next to a frie for scale) I could see if it were a kids meal but for the price it was totally a rip of. In addition the fish had no flavor at all. I ate at O'Bryon's this past weekend with friends while visiting the area. It's in a nice neighborhood location in what appears to be a converted older house. It was quite packed due to a football game and we were immediately greeted and seated upstairs. There were lots of tv's everywhere and our seating was fine. Our server was fairly attentive and took our drink/food orders quickly. I didn't find anything wrong with the service. Not a wow but certainly not bad. I felt a felt a little underwhelmed with lunch. For starters I had a Mad Tree beer which is awesome. However, it wasn't indicated on the menu that our beers would be out of a can. This isn't a huge deal but they really should let you know this as you're not getting a full pint and yet the prices are as if you were. For food I ordered the Fish and Chips. They were just ok. The breading was alright but the fish was very thin and nothing seemed to have much seasoning. Due to the thinness of the fish it was a bit dry. The fries were typical fries but again kind of boring. Additionally, I know prices have gone up on everything but I found the prices to be a little outlandish for what I got. Had the food been better I might feel differently but given that I felt like I was at a bar with subpar bar food it didn't sit well. I hate to not recommend them as I'm not from their location and wouldn't want to hurt their business but I was definitely underwhelmed by my experience. read more

Tonight a group of four of us went to O'Bryon's for dinner. We showed up and it was understandably crowded because of the game. Luckily we found a table and were quickly sat. Our drinks came out relatively promptly and we gave the waiter our order. The food took TWO AND A HALF hours. In addition, half of the food came out 20 minutes before the rest of the table was even served. Developing from bad to worst, once we got our food, we then found a FINGERNAIL CLIPPING (see attached) when someone bit into their wrap. This is the first review I have ever written and will absolutely never go back and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. I wish i could give negative stars. read more

I have been working in Cincinnati for the past month and we decided to grab lunch here the other day. There were a couple of good looking guys working (if you're into that kind of thing) and everyone was very pleasant. It's a small place, I could see it getting very crowded on a weekend night or St. Patty's Day. But it's got a nice vibe, and it was clean and well kept. They have a small draught selection, pretty basic choices but no complaints. They also offer some bottle and can options. Of course, they also have your basic liquor options ranging from tequila to flavored vodkas to Jack Daniels. My amigo ordered hot wings. I tried one and they were pretty good! I ordered the O'Bryon burger without jalapeño peppers because I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy. Lol. It was so good! I ate the entire burger, which is not usually something I can accomplish! It came with homemade chips, which were also very good. The burger was juicy and prepared exactly the way I ordered. The BBQ sauce was tasty as well. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this place. I'll be glad to go back and enjoy some other items on their menu! ::update:: I have gone back several times and I love it. We squeezed ourselves into the bar to order the signature shark drink, which was large, fruity, and strong. (It also comes with a little plastic shark toy; follow tradition and toss it to the rooftop next door.) The dining room was so full of Bros that we ventured upstairs to the rooftop patio, which has a great view and another bar. The bar was closed for a private event. We would have ordered food, but after 45 minutes of no one coming to our table, we decided to leave. A couple servers at nearby tables made eye contact but no one really acknowledged or came over to our table. Would not return. read more

The fried to onion ratio was perfect, complimented by the creamy ranch dressing made it a hit. The wings are as advertised, a true can't miss. That being said I ordered the spicy garlic wings, which came out cold as if they had been sitting there for a while. On the other hand the honey mustard wings are to die for. The flavoring and meat on the wings was all there.
