East Walnut Hills location - but it's consistently consistent. Solid food and a rather unique menu for a sports bar! Great happy hour selections and reasonable prices for beer & such. Best thing about this place is the amount of TV's and the stellar service. L parking though :( read more

Came here to watch football and probably won't be back. There was condensation from the piping that was dripping onto most of the upstairs tables. Bartenders are nice, but the food is just average. Seems like there's potential though! Good location. read more

Got here about 10:30 pm, just wanted a beer and something to eat. No seats down stairs so when upstairs, ordered a beer and was given the menu at 11: 00 I came down to check on it, got my beer from the waitress and sat at the bar. Went to order food and told kitchen closed, sorry. What else can I say, now sitting at the bar will finish my beer and leave. read more

I like this place! Simple and affordable bar food. They have happy hour as well. Service was a bit slow. read more

Our server, Grace was quick and friendly. She approached the group of four of us within a minute of us sitting down. We ordered queso app and the broccoli cheddar potato bites app. Also got some salted caramel cider that were perfectly balanced and not too sweet (I was worried it was gonna be too sweet so I waited till my friends got theirs delivered to the table and it was so good). I don't think that there's a bad thing that you could order on the menu. It's great especially for bar food and good portion sizes. Excited to come back during the summer and experience the start tank drink up on the outdoor patio. It's a bar scene great atmosphere pretty clean for a bar actually. Great for a bar, food and drinks with friends. read more

Ventured here because we saw they have a rooftop patio. Friday night, perfect weather, and the spot happened to be just what we wanted!! We got a great seat on the roof, it wasn't too busy. The service was a tad slow and the waitress not super attentive but the buffalo chicken dip she brought us was incredible! The tortilla chips were perfectly cantina style and the flavor of the dip was on point. It's hard to find a good buffalo chicken dip and this place has one! Highly recommend this place for a cute little casual night out. read more

7-25-2026 8:30pm Newport location. Very condescending and lecturing bartender (??Catherine??). Our food order took 35 mins. She was over the top nasty with a smile in telling us to adjust our expectations as service will always be slower on a Saturday night. And then to rub salt in the wounds, she emphasized expectations when delivering food. My guess is she was either clueless or careless in seeing how unhappy we were with her approach vs being better at her job and apologizing for the slow kitchen. read more

Sweet potato waffle fries with apple butter? Genius! Great service & great vibes on the patio.

the restaurant is very good ,but the only issue is that the time you wait on your food can be bit slow at times! The best waitress is "Grace" she is awesome and very friendly read more

If you enjoy being ignored, this is your place. Want to snuggle up with a book or a podcast, yes. Upon arrival, after a wait, Sat at the bar. I got the Thursday Special " Shark Tank". ( only available after 7pm, fyi). I was asked if I wanted a menu, "yes" and got one. After 45 minutes, and a Shark Tank, and a menu (obviously implying that I also wanted food), I flashed my credit card to multiple bar tenders until I got one's attention to cash out and find somewhere else to spend my money on dinner. Got completely snubbed. Cool. My money gets spent everywhere I take it. ...ps- some preppy frat-style boys came up well after me, ordered food, and some to go, and got refills on 3 beers each during my time there. Maybe I'm invisible. read more

Been here several times, good bar food. Only complaint is they can be a little slow getting the food out.

The food is good, but pricey for a pub. They have a nice selection of beer. They charge extra if you use a credit card, which I hate. They have a very small sign on the door telling you they will be doing this. I won't be giving them my business again. read more

EXACTLY as I remembered it from 15yrs ago. Still an underrated staple of Cincy! Wings are crispy and sauce is traditional Buffalo. Little hot, little tangy. Staff is top notch. Wish I had room for a burger. If you're driving thru, go ahead and stop by. They also have a great top floor patio overlooking street scape. This isn't fancy. It's not gimmicky. They don't try hard nor try to over complicate good, traditional bar food. Can't wait to come back!! read more

O'Bryon's Bar & Grill - Medium with blue cheese. - Sports Bars Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

We went to O'Bryon's on Sunday to watch the Kentucky NCAA tournament game. The place was pretty busy as Xavier was playing in the game before. We sat upstairs but the bar was closed. I felt kinda bad for the server who had to go up and down the stairs for a draft beer. We got the appetizer sampler and it was really good. Definitely recommend the broccoli ranch potato skins. The spicy garlic wing sauce was super garlicky, which I appreciated. Buckets of beer are reasonably priced. Parking is kinda tough but that's what you get for the location. The vibes are great for a sports watching bar. Love the old Cincinnati sports sings on the wall. read more

Great atmosphere and lively as the evening progresses. Staff are very nice and hustling, especially as the pub fills, so they're struggling some to keep up. On the flip side though, I've been coming here for years. Food has skyrocketed (i.e., chicken tenders up from $13 to now $20, etc.). No lunchtime portion. Apparently withdrew from Skymiles dining program so no miles. New 3.5% convenience fee on credit cards really sucks. Plenty of other area options that don't surcharge. Deal breaker for me. Won't go back.e read more

The atmosphere in O'Bryon's sold it for me! The service was chef's kiss! It's sports bar meets pub with a roomy dining room and delicious food!! We will absolutely be visiting here again on our next trip to Cincy. There's also public parking less than one block away! $4 for an hour - reasonable price. read more

My friends and I O'Bryon's. I lived in an apartment across the street for a year and miss it because of how close I was to this place. O'Bryon's has good bar food and cheap beer, but really where they excel is the service and how clean it is. Sometimes when you go into a place like this, it isn't well kept which is off putting for me. O'Bryon's was always clean when I was in there so it gave me confidence to be a frequent customer. So all that PLUS a rooftop patio?! I mean, come on. I recommend a trip here for any occasion really, just know it's often loud. read more

Love this place, the chicken tenders are crazy good! The staff is really nice and friendly.

This bar was excellent when we moved up 4 years ago. It felt local and a major perk of the neighborhood. Now-- a quesadilla is greater than $17, service is unapproachable, and expect to wait an hour for average bar food. Very disappointed at the evolution of this restaurant in the past 4 years--service is mid, food is average and prices are sky high. read more

When you Google ND bars in Cincinnati, it pulls this bar up...so we go. Wow! We were as shocked as the Leprechaun when he lost his pot of gold....this is a freakin Ohio State bar!!! WTF?!! Please consider changing your name and give honor to our Irish heritage. Here a suggestion: "THE"Nut Bar! We won't be back.... Also, pervasive sewer smell upstairs is not appealing-- or the smell of Buckeyes. read more

Typical sports bar in a college town. Always crowded, never dull. If you want bar food, you'll get just that. Beers on draft are good, nice specials for football etc, one downside is wait service wasn't writing anything down and got a few items messed up- all in all not problematic. you also sit yourself (think this a midwest thing) read more

Mediocre food on a great day. Lazy bartender today sitting on the back bar instead of helping guests who were waiting patiently. Cooks coming out of the kitchen to jaw-Jack / trash talk with a bunch of dudes at the end of the bar and apparently they are running a daycare for some of the employees. Is this a restaurant? If not, it would be a great place to put one! And soon, as a great one just opened next door. read more

Finally after passing this place for years we got to try it to enjoy some college football. Great list of beers and drinks. With 2 floors and an amazing wait staff the location has room and service to accommodate an party size with a roof top that can be enjoyed during the warm weather. We started off with a few buckets of beer some great mixed drinks along with appetizers. Queso dip and chips, buffalo chicken nachos and ther take on cheese sticks which I really enjoyed more for the uniqueness then the flavor. Football requires wings I will say that the Nati has many places to get wings this will not disappoint they are above average with some fine sauce. The menu has many great choices I look forward to returning to trying many more of the menu items. read more

I don't know if it's legal but it sure is delicious. I stopped in during lent for fish and chips and discovered that they cook fries with the fish. The essential element really is the batter which is perfectly crisp and complementary with the cod. The house made tarter sauce is a perfect complement to the fish as well as the freshly cooked fries. By the way, all their other menu items are quite good my favorite being the buffalo chicken sliders. As a bar, their bartenders are friendly, efficient and will provide a great pour of wonderful on-tap beer or a cocktail. It gets crowded during Cincinnati sporting events but that is only half the fun. read more

So the burger was good which is what saved this review. I always drive past this place but today while I was walking I decided to go in. Since bar and grills often specialize in fish and chips, I thought it was the safe bet. Boy was I wrong! Take a look at my photo. The fish portion was as long as a French fry. AND..... they gave me three pieces. (Feature next to a frie for scale) I could see if it were a kids meal but for the price it was totally a rip of. In addition the fish had no flavor at all. Literally tasted like I was straight up chewing on a fish. Gross. I probably won't be back. Not so humbly submitted, Michael C. read more

The female bartender who was working January 10th at night was VERY rude to us. Extremely disrespectful.

I'm talking about wings and wings only. They were awesome. They were crispy, cooked well and the sauce, hot bbq was so good, not overly hot, not sweet, perfect. I drive be all the time and I heard about the wings but I normally go for smoked. I've been running into my old reliable places smoking wings to the point of being totally dried out From now on, these are a top choice for me. I just went yesterday and seriously thinking about getting more today because I did share my first order. Great experience and they were super friendly! read more

I ate at O'Bryon's this past weekend with friends while visiting the area. It's in a nice neighborhood location in what appears to be a converted older house. It was quite packed due to a football game and we were immediately greeted and seated upstairs. There were lots of tv's everywhere and our seating was fine. Our server was fairly attentive and took our drink/food orders quickly. I didn't find anything wrong with the service. Not a wow but certainly not bad. I felt a felt a little underwhelmed with lunch. For starters I had a Mad Tree beer which is awesome. However, it wasn't indicated on the menu that our beers would be out of a can. This isn't a huge deal but they really should let you know this as you're not getting a full pint and yet the prices are as if you were. For food I ordered the Fish and Chips. They were just ok. The breading was alright but the fish was very thin and nothing seemed to have much seasoning. Due to the thinness of the fish it was a bit dry. The fries were typical fries but again kind of boring. Additionally, I know prices have gone up on everything but I found the prices to be a little outlandish for what I got. Had the food been better I might feel differently but given that I felt like I was at a bar with subpar bar food it didn't sit well. I hate to not recommend them as I'm not from their location and wouldn't want to hurt their business but I was definitely underwhelmed by my experience. read more

CHICKEN WINGS!!!!!!! Okay I don't have any pictures but that's because I never pause when I get the wings. When we moved into the neighborhood Simone recommended here for dinner. Tonight a group of four of us went to O'Bryon's for dinner. We showed up and it was understandably crowded because of the game. Luckily we found a table and were quickly sat. Our drinks came out relatively promptly and we gave the waiter our order. The food took TWO AND A HALF hours. In addition, half of the food came out 20 minutes before the rest of the table was even served. Developing from bad to worst, once we got our food, we then found a FINGERNAIL CLIPPING (see attached) when someone bit into their wrap. This is the first review I have ever written and will absolutely never go back and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. I wish i could give negative stars. read more
