We hit up Game On in White Oak on Friday night for Burger Week, and the place was absolutely bumping! Even with the tables totally packed with families and friends, our server was super pleasant and the food came out incredibly fast. They have a really great craft beer selection, which paired perfectly with our burgers: The Loaded Spear: Pepper jack, fried pickles, an onion ring, and reaper ranch. The Hot Honey Hampton: Swiss, an onion ring, and hot honey. Seriously, every single bite was so flavorful. We also got the cheese fries, which were perfectly crispy and covered in melted cheese. Honestly, the menu looked so good we couldn't resist also ordering the Buffalo Bacon Chicken Mac and Cheese, and it did not disappoint, pure comfort food. Game On is one of those places where you can find me just about any day of the week. It is a "not so big" neighborhood bar, grill and all around hang out spot where the game is always on. I don't drink but I can say that there is a nice selection of beer, wine, spirits and I have never had a bad meal here. Places like this help to give a neighborhood its own identity and personality. I used to hate this place. Recently they got new owners, since then I have been 3 times. The service is much better, in fact it is excellent. The food is great and as was the ambiance. Additional and re-positioned TVs make the sports viewing 10x better. This place is really on the come up giving the area another solid bar to hang out at and restaurant for sporting events.
