Oh man.....I am giving it 2 stars simply due to its longevity. My wife's family grew up in Blue Ash and had gone here for years. I had Chicken on the Run quite a few years ago and it wasn't bad. We stopped in last week and it went certainly not the same. I ordered the special (steak hoagie) and it was borderline tasteless/gross at the same time. Burnt roll, tasteless meat, 2 pickles, and horrible sauce. Others with me got burgers and they were so dry they could barely choke them down. Overall, just not good. Our server was nice enough, but just not great. I think the flooring in the restaurant has been there since the Carter administration. At one point my foot stuck to part of the floor when I was getting up from the table. Again - 2 stars for longevity. Best of luck to them, but we won't be back. read more

My sister and her family have lived in the area for years. I could not figure out why we had never been here. My best friends mom moved around the corner and we drove by. Last Saturday my niece and I gave it a try. We had wings, fries, cheese sticks, onion rings and grilled ham cheese. I thought the food was good, not great. I thought it was expensive too. Wasn't sure what to expect on Halloween but the service was great! They weren't super busy which was odd. Food is really great and they had a fair amount of options. More people should check this out! It's more like a sports bar but the atmosphere is still warm and welcoming. read more

Very typical bar food. I got a burger and some wings. The burger was ok. Had plenty of cheese! It was definitely a frozen patty. The chicken wings were good but a bit mushy. Prices were fair. Service was extremely uncomfortable! I went in based on the yelp reviews. So I asked for some thing that yelp had listed as a menu item. The guy waiting on me almost took my head off over the fact that they don't have that anymore and that yelp won't take it off! As a woman alone it was very unsettling. There's no way to order online so I went in and sat down to have a beer and place a takeout order. I've been here before with a girlfriend and it was the same guy that waited on us and I remember him being very abrasive today alone it was scary! I would absolutely never go in there alone again. Seems to be a local joint! I am local. In fact I live within walking distance. But I would not walk there. there are several places in the Deer Park area within walking distance that are far better and much friendlier. read more

Been a customer here for years walked in today and asked a waiter who wasn't doing anything if they were still serving, turned around and threw his hands up sighed and mumbled something under his breath as if he was disappointed that someone spoke to him. Turned right around and walked out since the wait staff didn't seem to want to serve any more customers at 7:30 on a Saturday. I got take out. This is a little neighborhood bar that has great chicken (get the dry rub!) and snacks. We just wanted some snackies, so ordered dry rub wings, chicken dip with generous taco chips and house made pork rinds (put Tajin on them- trust me). My next trip will probably be for a burger because they look drool worthy. Everyone was friendly, service was quick, food was so delishum- that's all I ask for. read more

Ummmm I ordered the fish sandwich and it comes with chips and a pickle spear. First of all the sandwich was bland as hell!!!! Just a frozen fish patty on a bun and I ordered deluxe which came with lettuce, tomatoes and onions no cheese because cheese cost extra on a sandwich. The fish was over cooked, and dry... it also comes with chips which were STALE...honestly that was the nastiest fish sandwich I ever ate...for me this was a big miss because I could only eat fish or shrimp...but I heard that their chicken wings awesome read more

Love the place for what it is. A small local joint with cheap eats and drinks that is consistently pretty good. Don't go expecting anything fancy but for a quick, easy, relaxed place to eat you won't find better. Wings were amazing! They only came with ranch and no side! Ordered 10 of them and wished they came with celery or something for the price. The decor is very old and a typical old bar. We were in the "party room" for a birthday celebration. The bathroom needed remodeling, but over all it was your average bar. read more
