Hidden gem. It's a great local place that's hidden but locals know where to find it. Draft beer prices are solid and if anything, less than expected for domestic drafts. Not complaining and definitely an added bonus to come back. Lots of pictures showed the mozz sticks (and says homemade) but honestly, tasted like frozen sticks and the marinara tasted burnt. Again, I think of Arthur's in Hyde park when I think of homemade mozz sticks and these weren't those. But.... Let's get to main items. The $3/rib were legit. Little Smokey with the charred grill taste. Little salty, little peppery. Perfect. Bonus, their bbq sauce on the side is awesome. Definitely would come back just for the ribs and draft beer. Next, the wings. They are HUGE. Like one single is equal to 3-4 BW wings. Again...a little Smokey but solid charcoal grill taste. U can smell the charcoal grill from the wings. Bonus is the sauces. Everything comes in a 6pack of squeeze bottles. So choose your own adventure! Oh. Discovered this place today after living on the area for 23 years lol. Absolutely astonished at how good everything was! I had the Boom Boom burger and fries with one smoked rib to try. Burger was huge, fresh made and totally terrific, fries are crispy and fluffy with no batter nor seasoning on them. Onion rings are battered and crispy, truly flavorful. Now the ribs: smoked, meaty and made In House, sauces made in house! Try working the sweet bbq and Jamaican together, was delicious! Prices are reasonable, great staff that cares and took an interest. You MUST try this place good lunch or dinner, a true diamond in the rough and not well enough known. We stopped in here last minute after Silver Spring house was swamped. We had no idea what to expect. We walked in (6 of us) and the place was pretty busy. The waitress came up and greeted us quickly and hot our drink orders. She was very helpful on guiding our food selections. As a group we ordered burgers, chicken sandwich, wings, pretzels and cheese sticks. Everything was so good. Even better we were able to play pool and darts while waiting for our food. Great little place for a cold beer and really solid food in a chill atmosphere. This is our new go to when in the area. read more

Interesting stop through as we were traveling along 275 loop. It was a Friday at 4 and we were there till 6:30. Took a bit to get drinks at bar and as the locals came in it got even harder to get service. We ordered a BLT that got lost in translation (or system) not sure, but an hour later we got it along with some drama behind bar. We will not come back as it's really a local spot. The food was absolutely amazing. My parents came in for a visit over the weekend and my family are sort of wing connoisseurs. We went down to knock back nats Saturday to check out what they were all about, but after I saw the Mozz sticks photo on this place, we came Sunday for lunch. We got burgers, wings, and mozzarella sticks and I can't wait to go back. The wings were better than any other place I've had in Cincinnati. I'm typically more a deep fried wing type of gal, but enjoy smoked too. These had that tenderness of a deep fried wing as well as a nice crispy outside but the smokiness and slight char of a smoked wing. Incredible! Burgers were fantastic as well. Don't let this place fool you on the outside. The food within is truly inspired. The wings are out of this world, like Oak Tavern with better execution. We stopped in here because of the great reviews. They lived up to the hype. My son got a cheeseburger and I got the wings. The cheeseburger was pretty large and tasted great. The wings ... amazing ! They were cooked well enough and not slimy, they were pretty big, and come with a tray of different sauces to try. We shared an order of tater tots with jalapeño dip. I only give it two stars because the bartenders are extremely nice and helpful. Do not go to this place during the week. There is a group of regulars who go after work and they are extremely inappropriate if you are a female. I was harassed and grabbed by several of these people. I refuse to go back which is disappointing because the staff is so incredibly nice. Local dive bar. Granted, some may not like that as a descriptor, but in this case it's a pretty accurate description. The cast of regular characters is interesting. The bar is pretty well stocked. The draught selections are pretty minimalist and basic. So if you're looking for trendy stuff like Blue Moon or Stella Artois, then you may be disappointed. However, even the premium liquor brands are inexpensive. But everyone is indeed very friendly and it's a great local watering hole for those early happy hour kinds of Friday afternoons. The one negative strike is the digital jukebox. The volume is so low that it's not worth the money. But the free billiards on Wed. after 8pm more than makes up for it. read more

This is a great dive bar. But something has to be said about the DJ on Friday. Absolutely terrible! Can't read the crowd at all. Music way too LOUD!! His transitions are horrible and then gets on the mic to sing along. On numerous occasions he gets so drunk that he repeats songs. If I didn't appreciate the bar staff I would skip Friday. read more

very good local bar (bit of a dive but i get tired of reviewers categorizing every local bar as a dive). raucous crowd, but everyone is friendly and mostly under control. great bartenders and many weekdays have $1 pints. darker interior. many of the tvs could use an upgrade, but the there are two large hdtvs and multiple smaller ones over the bar that suffice. 'L' shaped bar right when you walk through the door with about 10 barstools. best part about the actual bar was a padded rail, don't see these very much and it's very comfortable. high tables scattered throughout the rest of the bar and an outdoor patio as well. smokers always on the moving in & out. read more
