I wanted to be able to call him out and tell him he was wrong, but no truer words have ever been spoken. The right side of the bar was jam packed with regulars and I am not exaggerating probably 8 people smoking all at the same time in one side of the space. There was a plum of smoke when we walked in so thick you could see it in the air. How has this place not been shut down yet? Or fined? I have no idea. And honestly I hate smoke, but I can handle it if it's just a few people - but this looked like something so exaggerated that it was straight out of an SNL sketch. Smoking aside, I love me a good dive but this place is just not in good shape. We took our drinks outside on their small patio where the railings are so wobbly that if you leaned on one you would fall. The only beacon of light, the bartender could tell we were not impressed and even checked on us outside a few times. He was nice, but this isn't a place I would ever go back to.

The building has been used for various purposes over the years. It was first a local meeting spot. Then it turned into a tavern. It changed ownership a few years ago. The bar looks like it's gotten some much needed attention because it's clean and things look new. It has several modern TVs above the bar. The patio is the coolest thing. It's shaded and you can barely see it from outside. This is a popular spot for Bengals games, when this bar gets packed. This is a nice neighborhood bar. It's divey but not dumpy. After a minor issue during karaoke, he yelled at us and later screamed directly in my face when I calmly addressed how the situation was handled. Other customers felt the need to step in because of his behavior. What made it worse was that the situation was brought to the attention of bar staff and nothing was done to address it. I've enjoyed this bar in the past, but I would absolutely avoid karaoke nights going forward.
