Older crowd, I always have a good time when I go. The names have changed, but always the same atmosphere. Olay

Low key neighborhood bar - feels too much of a home to me compared to a bar ? I almost missed it…read moreand wasnt sure where to enter since i feel its not clearly marked ? Nice to have a little stage for outdoor music and had good seating for it as well. Had one drink and was little weak on the liquor when asked for a "Jack & Coke" so i didnt get another drink . Chips were a "bar food" choice at the bar but nothing else so eat bsfore you get here. Overall, not my favorite bar, but its ok for a neighborhood one clearly - as night went on i think more came for the music ?

Deer Park Tavern is a good neighborhood bar. It's not as territorial as it used to be. Previously…read moreit was a lot nastier and you avoided this if you weren't a regular. It changed a few years ago. This is still a dive but you can get some good drinks and enjoy yourself. It says they have been there since 1888. In reality, the building has been there since then. The building has been used for various purposes over the years. It was first a local meeting spot. Then it turned into a tavern. It changed ownership a few years ago. The bar looks like it's gotten some much needed attention because it's clean and things look new. It has several modern TVs above the bar. The patio is the coolest thing. It's shaded and you can barely see it from outside. This is a popular spot for Bengals games, when this bar gets packed. This is a nice neighborhood bar. It's divey but not dumpy. Try coming for a game.

What a fun little bar!!…read more We stumbled upon this place looking for quieter spot to watch the Reds game, and this place was perfect. The bartender was super friendly, great beer selection, fully stocked bar, TVs for the game & also games on the tables (connect four, jenga, etc) We'll be back!

You would be presented…read morewith The Flying Pig, which took a few traits from both of them, first, the smell of manure and spoiled milk shot up my nostrils the moment i walked through the door that was hanging on by one hinge. They also actually live up to their name, considering they have a little guinea pig working the bar, who came over and let us know that even though the website says they have food, surprise! They do not. He then told us that he needed to see some ID's because we were clearly not 21, but the pot bellied pig with a face more punchable than Kamala Harris, looked like he's about 1/4th of the way through puberty. After we told him we would be leaving due to the absence of calories, he pushes up his stupid tiny little glasses and stops us from leaving. We are all now wondering why mini Jonah Hill is holding us hostage? he then asks us where we are from and we tell him West Virginia to which he sincerely apologizes. Whether he thought West Virginia was a 3rd world country or he just has the social skills of a kindergartener we do not know. But we do know that The Flying Pig is by far the worst establishment i have ever paid a visit to in my 42 years of living. ~Jason M

The bartender Sharon was EXTREMELY rude…read more We are both African American, walked in and it was almost like "what do you want and we've clearly walked into the wrong establishment." The lady just sat there with her hand out and said what do you need. Made us pay right after getting our drink despite us sitting at the bar and not asking if we were going to get another drink. I then said do I have to close after every drink and she said well are you getting another one. I said yes and she was frustrated and said uh well then I need a card. My friend asked what kind of beers they had and she got an attitude and huffed and said it's on the wall. She told us the price of every drink and asked if it was ok as if we couldn't afford it.we were not offered water, not asked if we wanted food. No one was asked to pay immediately. Anyone after us was given water, the tone was nicer, and was asked if they'd like an order put in Pure nastiness. I used to come here all the time and have never encountered this but the years definitely have changed this place. Do not recommend if you're a person of color. They are still living in the past. UPDATE The manager came out and we spoke to him. He was a lot nicer and offered us a drink for my friends birthday.

This bar tender (white man, older, long salt & pepper colored greasey hair, not tall not short, with a plumper build in the waist) comes out to the patio with a bar receipt and pen in his hand askn loudly to my friend if hed done some thing wrong to her or whats goin on and she looked puzzled and replied no why he then shakes his hand at her and she said as she realized it was her drink receipt naw bby u kno i got u always im jus payn wit card tonight not cash i was gonna tip u once i was done for the nite. ( mind u we hadnt lit a cigarette or took a sip of our drink yet & had the whole patio lookn at us and everyone was in silence by now ) The rude man turns slings the door open muttering well if u do or dont ill be jus fine! Then someone said he was drunk, cant tend bar or handle ur poison dont drink! Then had a discussion about it inside the bar again for some reason but it back fired cause damn near the entire bar walked out and left due to the rudeness and unprofessional conduct presented by the bar tender! Im not so sure id return! No customer should be harrased or made to feel obliged to tip after jus walking into a place and who knows she could of tip'd him a $50 or $100 by nites end but he will never know now! And they say hes been a problem for a while now and costing the bar customers which is money!
