We love this spot. Super walkable if in the Bellevue area. Street parking within a block or 2 always. Outdoor seating as well as indoor, billiards and darts as well as live music on occasion or comedy. Pretty well-priced as well and dog friendly. I like laid back neighborhood bars in vintage buildings. Great whiskey selection is a MUST and steel tip dartboards are a plus too. B-List ticked all the boxes. Wife and I checked out B-List this last Sunday. It had a good vibe. The guy bartending was friendly. He helped my wife make a custom cocktail. I had some bourbon pours from their great selection. He showed me some bottles he was excited about. Wife and I had fun tossing some darts while other patrons played boardgames, played video golf, and hung outside by a couple firepits. Great neighborhood bar with a surprising list of craft beers at prices that made me do a double take. On busy nights expect lots of people smoking (-1 star), playing pool, darts, and loading up the jukebox with great tunes. The staff are friendly and quick with your beers. I recommend paying cash and tipping well, especially if you plan to become a regular. It has been said (on their website I believe) that they are dog friendly but the people we were with said last time they brought in their dog they were almost told to leave. So proceed with caution on bringing your furry friend, and honestly, I wouldn't want to bring my dog to a smoke filled bar anyways. They had the beer drank in the movie Jaws (Narragansett) which I had a can of and after surviving it I moved on to a much better beer from Evil Twin Brewing. Delicious. Almost all beers are $5 or less which beats most popular bars in a five mile radius. Heck yeah. Parking is on street and free. Of course be smart and rideshare if you plan on getting wasted on the less than $20 bar tab you will most likely receive. read more

After 4 beers and on the heels of a mind blowing skate punk show, it was too early to go home, yet too late to drive into the city, so me and a buddy of mine decided to hit it up...Oh, the B List, you have come my rescue on so many nights where we were in the intermediate zone between not driving and going to sleep, -so many legendary nights, so many mornings after. If you haven't been here before, on any given day you may find the following: hipsters, bros, locals, moms, wedding parties, Vietnam vets, construction crews, grass cutters, and my dad. The point being - This is a place for everyone!! It really is a grab bag of mixed characters, and you really never know what you are going to get. So the last time since I was here was about 11 months ago. Me and a buddy of mine decided to give it a go. The owners, Tom and Kevin (who also owns Milton's on Sycamore and Milton in DT Cincy) have always been gracious hosts, and will always make awesome recommendations. The B list has a raucous pool table, 6 active rotating taps, and about 60 bottled beers at any given time. The real draw of this place is the diversity, (and for me the fact that it is 3 blocks from my house), and the never ending jukebox. It may put people off that smoking is permitted, but this is a legit bar, in Campbell County, KY - So you kinda want that. A great neighborhood bar, where everyone knows your name, great juke, partners with delivery of food with discounts, pool table, rotating taps, neighborhood acquaintances, and an occasional dog or two. A friend recently moved to the Bellevue area and we stopped in to have a drink and catch up. The bar itself isn't anything fancy, it's a nice neighborhood pub with an easy low key vibe. It's not pretentious, which is perfect. They also have a patio with a fire pit. We ordered a couple of beers and hung out for a while. The beer selection was good with several of my favorites to choose from. They don't serve food but we did see bags of chips, along with beer cheese and spicy pretzels written on the chalk board. Also, when we walked in (around 7:45) the bartender mentions "no dogs after 8". We both acknowledged him with an "okay." He then said that since it was slow it wasn't a big deal, but on a busy night, no dogs after 8. Okay, no problem. Then my friend mentions that their Facebook page says they're dog friendly. From their page - "non smoking until 10pm daily, dogs allowed, .." with no mention of "until 8pm". They should probably updated their FB page. Also, it gets really smokey here too. I would give it 5 stars if they had a couple of jars of weird pickled things behind the bar. I will add that to the suggestion box the next time I'm there. The staff is awesome. The B list is a great bar in a weird neighborhood. I say weird because the mix of clientele can range from your average normal 20somethings, to people having high school reunions, to shirtless hillbillies, to NKU art hipsters, to crazy old coots. It just depends on the day of the week. They have a great draft beer selection, an excellent jukebox (the black keys, sharon jones, broken bells, elvis costello, etc) which they update every now and again and a pool table, wii, and golden tee. The space is a perfect size for a bar, has direcTV and feels very cozy with a nice wooden bar and tin copper tabletops. Unfortunately because of its cozy size and kentucky's laws allowing smoking, youll come out of there smelling a bit smoky, depending on how crowded it is. I've always felt the bartenders were very nice to me, but i've seen them get into it with some of the redder necks in the room. The thing keeping me from giving it 4 or even 5 stars is the inconsistency of what the B list is gonna be like on any given night. I know its not their fault, but i've gone in there on a friday night and had a great lively time, i've been there and the vibe has been just a bit too intense and i've also been there and it's been completely empty. The B list is definitely someplace to check out if you're in the neighborhood, and you could definitely spend an entire fun evening there, but just be prepared to have one beer and go to the backup plan if the mood doesnt suit you on that particular night. i'll say 3.5 stars. read more

Very cool little dive bar just a few blocks away from Route 8. The bar staff is friendly and attentive, drinks reasonably priced, and the jukebox just plain rocks! I can't think of any other bar in Northern Kentucky where I can find Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, Curtis Mayfield, Raconteurs, Spoon, Vampire Weekend, and other cool music that kept me pumping the machine full with dollar bills. While I think the B-List is definitely a bar that has a regular clientele, new faces are more than welcome. At least that's how I felt. read more

It is the quintessential neighborhood bar, and the beer selection is one of the best in the city. I would recommend venturing to the B List during Happy Hour, which is 4pm to 8pm M-F & Noon to 8pm S&S. Happy Hour at the B List is the perfect place to unwind from a stressful day, catch up with friends, or meet new and interesting characters. As for price, you cannot beat the B List. $2 domestics, $3-$5 imports, $3 wells, and both the call & top shelf liquor is very reasonable. The B List also just recently added a patio to it's seating selection, and although it is small it is a nice place to soak up the spring, summer, and fall sun. The only reason this bar gets a 4 star instead of a 5 is because it can be very smoky at times. I am a smoker, and sometimes if it is too crowded even I can get a little overwhelmed. read more

Is that clear, or do I have to slip you my left for a convincer?" There's a bar. There's a TV. There are tables. It's a place in the neighborhood for folks to meet up for a beer, escape the wife (or husband) and the kids. Don't ask for any of those b.s cocktails that I love. The B-List is consistently a fun place to meet friends. The bar has a good selection of beer on tap which you'll need if you partake in the complimentary buckets of peanuts! The clientele are generally welcoming and easy to get along with. The 4 legged furry clientele are the best though! Dogs are welcome in the bar and make for good entertainment if the game that's on the TVs isn't going so well. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because the smoke is almost unreasonable after midnight on the weekends. The B-list is my quintessential neighborhood bar. Nestled up to shotgun houses a few blocks from Bellevue's main strip, it's just a couple of blocks from me. this actually explains a lot about why I've only been there a few times. It's dog friendly but not far enough to warrant the trip on foot, after all my pup is not only a little too young and jumpy to handle the noisy patrons but three blocks is barely a warm up for his energy level. Regardless it wonderful to know that of a handful of dog friendly bars in the area, one is right down the street. On the few occasions I've been there I've noticed that the crowd and bar tenders are not only genuinely friendly but aside from the lack of comfortable seating I feel welcome there. The beer prices are reasonable and if it's a slow evening and your bored there is usually one or two regulars with one too many drinks in them willing to fill your ears with whatever they feel like speaking. Be careful wandering home on foot. I've heard rumors in the past of local law enforcement issuing tickets for public intoxication. Hit up the juke box while your there, it's a pleaser for almost everyone. read more

The B List is my favorite bar out of every bar in the world. That it is within stumbling distance from my house is akin to winning the lottery. This place has seen me at my absolute horrific worst and has managed to love me and take care of me anyway. On Saint Patrick's Day this year, I lost my phone, my purse, and my dignity, and I returned to B List the next day to a charged phone and all my belongings tucked neatly into my purse. It's the modern version of walking onto the set of cheers. If you spend thirty minutes in this bar you will have made two or more new friends. If that is something up your alley then you are set. After that, if you are local then stop in. Every bartender has their own charm they are typically knowledgeable and friendly. The only food is chips, peanuts, beer cheese, and a great delivery special from Marcos pizza. As far as entertainment goes they have a good pool table, decent dart boards, a pop-a-shot machine and two mega touch boxes. Bellevue is my hometown and I have met many old friends as well as their kids while polishing the copper bar top. The environment fosters meeting some very interesting people from so many walks. It's as easy to find good conversation of the arts as well as sports. If you can't find a beer or a bourbon you like you're probably in the wrong place. it's not fair to complain about smoke in a bar but something should be done besides opening the doors in the morning! read more
