Seasonal (spicy) margarita and a Kona draft beer
    Kyle B.

It was our first time back at the hannaford in a couple of months and what can I say, I just really love this bar. It's the perfect mix of divey and delicious cocktails. It's unpretentious but it's classy. It's clean and welcoming. The bartenders make delicious cocktails. The prices are reasonable. We loved the seasonal spicy Margarita. It's rare to find a spicy Margarita that is actually spicy.

Small casual bar with stylish flair and impressive drinks! | Cost per Drink $10 | Rating 9/10 Pros: Any occasion, affordable, good cocktails. Cons: No activities, new bartenders don't make the drinks as well. Me and my group of 6 came to celebrate a friends birthday Friday at 11:30. We dressed up a little bit, the other patrons were casual but it all still fit the vibe. Interior is dim, intimate, and social. We took the lounge sofa and chairs for ourselves but other high tops and bar seating were available. Music was very good (hip hop, alt-rock) with Touchtunes should you want to change the mood. The drinks from the head bartender were 10/10! I ordered three as I was so impressed and they were all well balanced, mixed, and visually pleasing when served. Make sure you get the senior bartender as the junior needed to double check their mix and it was not well blended leading to a too sharp citrus taste that the senior avoided both times he made my drink. If you have a plan or even if you don't Hannaford is worthy of your evening.

The Hannaford isn't just a bar, it's a community. With fantastic staff who remembers your drink or choice, a delicious seasonal menu, and cozy indoor and outdoor seating, it's become my go-to spot for celebrations or just a night out. The atmosphere is welcoming and every visit is an opportunity to make new friends. Cheers to the Hannaford for always making me feel right at home!

Great vibe and custom drink options - everyone in our party thought their cocktail was good enough to make this a target stop next time we are in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. Don't think OTR, the Banks or Mt Adams are the only places for a good night out - make the journey over to this area around Hannaford and enjoy some great options...with Hannaford as the star of the area

Hidden gem in Covington on the corner of E Pike & Madison! I have only been here a handful of times, but need to come more often! They have a decent size cocktail list and PLENTY of Bourbon to choose from. Make sure and stop in during happy hour! They have one of the best happy hours this side of the river.

Great bar to chill and relax to watch tv or just hang and talk. They have many speciality drinks and a gigantic beer list and always my favorite wine. There is no food here just a place to drink and enjoy each other

There is just something about this place that I really loved! It has a casual atmosphere and welcoming crowd. It was very busy but the bartender was awesome and waited on us very quickly! They have a nice selection of drinks and beers. There are plenty of seating options from bar, to couch to tables. There is even a small seating area outside, although I wouldnt call it a patio. TVs are scattered around to catch the sporting event of the day. I think this place suits any type of night whether you are out casually or looking for a drink after a dressy event. Great vibe!

The staff was wearing masks, and there was plenty of room for social distancing. The cocktails were so sophisticated and still tasty and fruity. I would return here just to try more items on the menu, so many to choose from!

The Hannaford is a great bar. I felt the atmosphere was very cool and the place was well laid out. There was ample seating at the bar and the high top tables looked super inviting too. They seem to have some great specials throughout the week, we stopped in on a Tuesday and it was Koozie Tuesday! Buy a $5 koozie and you get $3 craft cans or domestic cans were maybe $1? Break even with two craft cans and it was a great time. Not crowded on a Tuesday but it didn't feel dead either. I'll definitely come back! ...especially now that I have that Tuesday koozie, great marketing guys ;)

First off this space is STELLAR! Jeremy my bartender nailed it on my choice of beer when he recommended Brassknuckles Four String!! Later he wowed me with traditional bourbon sours, made with egg whites and black cherries! Great music playing 60s type. HAPPY HOUR 4-7pm. Wifi is free, just enter your email address and you can connect. I think that's kind of brilliant for marketing.

I never been to Covington before and I'm from Los Angeles. I was just walking along the street and see this place with a nice ambiance from outside and when I walked in, I was stunned. It had this low light atmosphere, with the sports TV playing, different personalities of people, and a ton of selection of spirits, drinks, cocktails. Their sitting choice is cool because you can do a high top, tables, bar or even comfortable chairs and couches. It was spacious. The bartender was super friendly and provided us his recommendation of a bourbon for a nice price because their selection is quite big and my knowledge of bourbon is limited. I HIGHLY recommend to check it out and enjoy a conversation.

They don't have food but that just means they are pet-friendly. There is plenty of food in the area (for pete's sake, OTR Kroger is across the street). Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)

She told us to have a seat wherever we wanted but to come to the bar to order our drinks. We both got cocktails, an Old Fashioned and a Kentucky Mule and both were quite good. They don't have much food, just some pre-packaged chips and such but some of the chips were from China with pretty odd flavors, so that was kind of fun to give a try. The photos I have seen online don't do this place justice. It's cute and comfy and super clean. Even the women's bathroom had cute decor!
