I've been to Noche more times than I can count, and at this point it's safe to say they simply don't miss. I've made my way through the entire menu (food and drinks), and there honestly isn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. Everything is consistently spot on every single time. That kind of reliability is hard to find, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. That said, a few personal favorites stand out. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer is a non-negotiable. It's the kind of dish you order "for the table" but secretly don't want to share. The cacio e pepe and pasta rustica are also incredible and always hit. As for drinks, the seasonal espresso martini is always a go-to and never disappoints. But my personal favorite is either the regular old fashioned or, when I'm feeling myself, the wagyu old fashioned... especially if Scott is behind the bar. He clearly knows what he's doing, and it shows. The service is always warm, attentive, and consistent, which makes the whole experience even better every time. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and a bartender who takes his craft seriously. I'll definitely be back (again...and again). read more

I stopped in here yesterday to have a late lunch and a cocktail. I was greeted at the door by a host and chose to sit at the bar. Parking was easy on the street outside the restaurant. I have had this spot on my list for a while. I started with a cocktail, the Soda Italia Mojito and it was so refreshing, bubbly, and delicious without being overly sweet. I ordered an appetizer for my meal. Unfortunately I did not feel well and ended up taking almost all of this home with me. I ordered the Bourbon Wagyu Burrata. This app was hand pulled mozzarella stuffed with braised wagyu brisket and bourbon butter and served with crostini. I just ate this for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. The bartender said these are made to order, mozzarella pulled and filled after I placed my order. The atmosphere was cozy and right in the heart of Covington. Both bartenders were super friendly and when I said all of a sudden I did not feel well, they took my meal and put it in a box for me and got me an ice water to go. I will definitely stop in the restaurant again to give something else on the menu a try. Probably will order the same cocktail as it was so good. read more

Lovely experience at Noche! I sat outside with some close friends on a perfect spring day, which already set the tone, and the meal kept it going. I ordered the wagyu brisket ravioli, and it was exactly what I hoped for; tasty, cheesy, and genuinely delicious. Almost like southern hospitality meets Italian! The portion wasn't huge, especially for the price, but the flavor definitely delivered. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server was fantastic, super knowledgeable about the menu and specials, incredibly accommodating, and somehow managed to keep our water glasses full at all times without ever interrupting the flow of the meal. It's the kind of service that makes you feel taken care of without being hovered over. Overall, Noche is a bit on the pricey side, but the atmosphere, quality, and service made it worth the visit. Finally had a chance to try out Noche during Cincinnati Restaurant Week and I highly recommend! No chance the perfect date night . We were greeted as soon as we arrive and actually able to be sat earlier than our reservation. I serve it was very attentive and they always make sure our waters were full and we had fresh silverware for our various courses. He decided to go with cocktails or wine, but there's quite extensive wine list. The braised short rib penne was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. It had a rich, but not very dense sauce. The desserts were very rich, (blueberry chocolate chip bread pudding, and chocolate caramel tiramisu Bundt cake) so after a heavy pasta dinner kind of a lot. But still tasty! read more

Noche is going to shake things up if they haven't already! This is the old Rich's Proper spot totally revamped. The decor and the exposed kitchen is the icing on the cake. It's dark and moody but inviting. The service was great , I haven't had this good of service in while especially sitting at a table. They do take reservations but they fill fast and I know why. The drinks are boozy and the food is hot and fresh. They make everything daily which had me excited. The server/bartender Scott had great recommendations and did not lead us astray. We had an amazing visit to Noche! We love all Of Chef Alfio's restaurants and this one was just as great! We enjoyed cocktails and a variety of food. For appetizers we enjoyed their seasonal deviled eggs along with the our on Waugh Brisket Burrata, both of which were delicious! Since it sounded so amazing (and was) we both orders the Short Rib Penne. Just melt in your mouth good! We ended the meal with their Bread Pudding which was a great finishing touch! We had reservations for 6 pm on Tuesday. The place was maybe 1/3 full. Over the next 30 minutes or so the place filled up. It's a relatively small space; I strongly recommend reservations. We started off with Bread Service (Served with herbed bone marrow butter and hot honey butter), Deviled Eggs (the daily this Tuesday was Pork Belly) and Goat Cheese Salad (Fried Goat Cheese served over a prosecco poached apple, fig, and walnut salad, finished with a honey truffle vinaigrette). The bread had a great charred flavor and was soft and crunchy at the same time. I only tried the hot honey butter, which I found tasty with just a twinge of heat. There were five of us and when we ordered two servings of deviled eggs, our server told us they'd bring us five rather than the usual four so we all could try one. The price was split across two bills and I didn't notice whether there was an extra charge for the fifth egg. It doesn't matter, they were good. The pork belly was warm and slightly crispy. It was a unique combo. The salad was absolutely delicious. The fried goat cheese was a taste sensation. It exploded with flavor and mixed beautifully with the apple and fig. The salad was dressed lightly with honey truffle vinaigrette. It was a wonderful bite. There were two Spicy Chicken Penne meals (Penne tossed in a spicy creamy vodka tomato sauce with fresh Argentine relish) at the table, both ordered with a thin piece of breaded chicken. I had a taste and I thought it was pretty good. The chicken was better than I expected (it looked like it might be tough) and the vodka sauce was good. It was not especially spicy. Cacio e Pepe (House-made fettuccine tossed in the flamed parmesan wheel and finished with white truffle oil), also ordered with breaded chicken, received rave reviews. Pulled Brisket BBQ Ravioli (Slow braised brisket tossed stuffed ravioli tossed in a cheddar alfredo sauce and topped with truffle slaw) was very well received. We all received the clean plate award; kudos to the chef. Three Bread Pudding (Bourbon, blueberry, and chocolate chip bread pudding topped with a bourbon caramel sauce) were thoroughly enjoyed. One Cheesecake (Peanut butter and mascarpone cheesecake topped with Bourbon Whip) was ordered. I had one bite and thought it was fantastic. I had Tiramisu Cake, which wasn't on the menu. It was the largest and the lightest of the three desserts. I didn't think there was any way I could finish it, but I most certainly did. Great meal in a comfortable, classy and casual atmosphere. This place was tiny, 20 tables at most; but very cozy and cute. Walk into to the bar and the tables are in the other room. Soft candles and plants everywhere. We had Peyton as our server and we couldn't he happier with her. She was absolutely amazing, lively knowledgeable and sweet. She knew her menu and was so helpful with recommendations and decisions on what to order. All the food was fresh and flavorful. Absolutely delicious!!! Everything we had was on point. The braised beef ravioli came out with slaw on top and we were questioning, but after the first bite it all made sense. Don't question just go for it. Fabulous experience all around. Love what they've done with the old Rich's Proper. Great decor and use of space. Make a reservation or they will only seat you at the bar or outside. Solidly busy on a Friday night so the service was a little slow, however Peyton more than made up for it. She brought so many little touches to make the meal go well. So on to the food, the pair behind Alfio's has totally taken it up a notch with this gem. Every dish was unique, flavorful and left you wanting more. Take the plunge and get the bread service, perfect complement to the meal. I really enjoyed the fried goat cheese tropical salad. Empanadas were as good as expected. Fundido is cheesy and delicious. Standout of the meal is the brisket ravioli. It shouldn't work, but it does and that is extremely special and worth trying. We did not save room for desert BUT got a small sample of the bread pudding and OH MY GOD (imagine me saying that like Janice from Friends) it's a must have. With a bourbon ice cream topper, it melted right in my mouth. Not to be forgotten are the cocktails, lots of fun and seasonal options. The only thing that didn't make the cut was the cacio de pepe. The menu is mostly Italian with a variety of pasta entrees, but you'll see an Argentinan flare too with dishes like the fundido cheese and empanadas. Arancini - served over a garlic parm aioli. A great light appetizer Caesar Salad - the dressing is both light yet creamy. A big salad Caprese & Prosciutto Salad - with large pieces of fresh mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes Pan-seared Lasagna - hefty layers of saucy red and ricotta. A big filling portiok Braised Short Rigatoni - extra cheesy in a truffle spinach sauce. I'm a big fan of Alfio, so I knew this spot was going to be awesome. I had the caesar salad and the lasagna, both were amazing. I had enough lasagna to eat half for lunch the next day (but honestly could have housed it that night). The service was great and the ambiance is cozy. I only came in for drinks... but man, they were awesome. Stayed until closing and somehow ended up helping the staff shut the place down. I didn't catch the bartender's name -- so let's just call him Ethan the Enlightened--but regardless of his name he was an absolute legend. He made my martinis with Gorgonzola-stuffed olives, and even though I'm usually a blue cheese guy, those Gorgonzola beauties changed my life. I saw the light, and it was brined. When I told "Ethan" I liked my martinis dirty, he asked if I preferred them light, dark, or "Cincinnati River Water." If you've ever seen that river, you know it's the exact color of chocolate milk, and I nearly spit laughing. The drinks were perfect, the vibe was great, and I left feeling like I'd just met a mixology messiah. I'll definitely be back for more divine cocktails--and next time, I'm staying for the food too. read more

Went to dinner here on a Wednesday night with 2 friends. They only had room at a sideboard/ bar - impressive for a Weds night in November! We had the burrata to start, which was divine! I had a specialty margarita that was exquisite. For dinner, I had the chicken with vodka sauce, which had a pleasant kick to it. My one friend had the lasagna, which he deemed "incredible", and my other friend had the brisket ravioli - also deemed incredible! We polished it off with a shared blueberry bread pudding with a bourbon whipped cream - HEAVENLY. The service was equivalent to a 5 star restaurant- absolutely outstanding. The chef personally served us our entrees. I would recommend Noche to everyone looking for an elevated dining experience, full of flavor, in Covington. Can't wait to go back! read more

As an Alfio fan, I was very excited about this new place. The food was incredible and the staff were top notch. The decor was nice and the bar area is friendly and welcoming. It is a small dining space, so I recommend a reservation. The food came out so slow- not sure if it was a kitchen issue or a communication issue. Regardless, I'll still be back because the food was amazing. We split the short rib sliders, Caesar salad, cacio e pepe, and the peanut butter cheesecake. All were 10/10. They even split our portions on separate plates for the salad and pasta. The cacio e pepe may be the best pasta dish I've had in area. We tried the burrata, the deviled eggs topped with a confit,,the goat cheese salad, the orecchiette and the tenderloin pasta. Of all those, the Orecchiette was the winner. Honestly it was just ok - we arrived for our reservation and were told the hostess stepped out (what?) and to wait for her to come back. We awkwardly stood at the entrance of the restaurant. The bartender enthusiastically broke down the cocktail menu while we waited, which was nice. Once we were seated, service was quite slow and the waiter didn't really know the drink menu when we had questions. We ordered some appetizers, which were tasty but small for the price. The arancini were about the size of a ping pong ball and we only got 4 of them. Now for the entrees- the orecchiette was delicious but didn't really have much on it besides garlic oil, and the random uncooked tomatoes on the side were strange. The short rib pasta was incredible. Both were a bit pricy for the serving size, but I really enjoyed them nonetheless. Overall, I wouldn't be back due to the service and high prices for the size of the dishes, but we enjoyed our food. read more

Food/value versus Service/ambiance. We found the food subpar in both taste and value but we found the service to be great and the ambiance lovely. We ordered the Cacio de Pepe and the truffle oil was overpowering of the true flavor of a cacio de Pepe rather than complimenting it. The Spicy Chicken à la vodka was bland and really disappointing in both flavor and value ($35 for small portion and watery sauce). The bread with truffle butter was nicely flavored but underwhelming at 5 thin slices of bread for the price. Our server, Michelle, was polite, efficient, and kind. Our food was quickly and correctly delivered. The restaurant itself is very pretty and the patio inviting.
