Okay, I am old, and I have been to many bars in my lifetime, but I do not know if I have ever met a more charismatic and entertaining bartender as Julie-ever. It was a slow night and my friend, and I were referred by Mt. Adams Bar & Grill to head up to Crowley's. Little did we know, we stayed for an hour and a half and had some really solid conversations and expressed many varied opinions. We were pumped up when we left and could not top that experience. Who needs church or psychiatrists when you can talk to Julie. Head up to Mt Adams and find out.

Not a whole lot open on Mondays in Mt. Adams, but who cares? Crowley's is perfect. Had some great cocktails, watched some football and absolutely loved the bartender, Julie. We won't come back to Cincinnati without swinging by. She even gifted us a wedding present... just met her but she knows us so well!!

I always make a stop when in Mt. Adam's! This is a fantastic little Irish Dive bar. Great service, cheap drinks and awesome vibes!

Bartender Tom.....freaking awesome! If you want to know about beer, cincy, or life in general, Tom will know!!!! Traditional Irish Pub, not mention oldest in Mt Adams, this place is historical landmark, the views are amazing and beer (plus conversations with the locals) are always flowing!!!!! Stop by just once you won't regret it... oh yeah and there is old school bar pretzels! Overall- definitely ask Tom about Jungle Jims and Finley Market ;)

A dive bar in Mt Adams!??? Yes... This great place serves up some great drinks and snacks (didn't see the jambalaya, but it was getting towards the end of Tom's shift). It was my first time inside and within a few minutes, I felt like a regular. The people there were chill, talkative, and full of joking banter that makes this a bar on my short list next time I am in the area. There was only a handful of people inside, but Tom was quick to point out that in a few hours, it would be full. The only knock I have is that the bathroom is a little scary. Not scary in a cleanliness way, just kinda old school "Man's bathroom" way. Know what I mean? There was soap and stuff, so it's all good. If I'm in the neighborhood, I'll have to squeeze in during St. Patrick's Day, ha ha. I am sure this place gets packed.

Look at that perfectly poured brew! Great small town feeling bar.

Wandered into this spot based on yelp reviews.Tom, our bartender, made us feel right at home. Had 5-6 beers on draft and full bar. No food served, but have ability to "order in" from neighboring establishments, and this is encouraged! Go for the relaxed and neighborly atmosphere. We will be back!

Pubs are a meeting place and a hub, not just a place to get sloppy (like so many bars in Mt Adams are).

Maybe the waitress was new, but she took forever to come and help us, our glasses stayed empty, and it took an extra 15 minutes just to get the check. Appetizer None Main Course - Crab cake and toast was a huge hit with my wife. Though she wasn't sure how to eat it and the egg wasn't runny as she wanted, she enjoyed it. - 9/10 - Steak and fries with chimichurri was quite delicious. The bourbon bbq sauce for the fries I highly recommend. Steak was a bit over cooked but tasty. - 8/10 Dessert - Brulé cheese cake was light and fantastic. The berries consisted of 4 blueberries. Would have been nice with a few strawberries or raspberries- 8/10

My team and I had the most amazing dinner at Nicholson's after a long day of work…read more We sat in the back room and were the only people back there, so it was nice and quiet and just what we needed. Our server, McKenna, took great care of us the whole evening. She was friendly, engaging, accommodating, and just did an overall great job. Pro tip, go during happy hour for great prices on appetizers and drinks. The appetizer pricing was so good we were able to order more than planned. We got the duck fat fries, brussels sprouts, and buffalo chicken. The duck fat fries came with a delicious garlic aïoli. The brussels sprouts were just perfect. And the buffalo chicken with some of the best I've had in a long time. I had never had cock-a-leekie before, so I tried that too. It was a nice, warm, comfort food. For our entrées, several of us got fish and shrimp. It was delicious and the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce sauces were perfect. The highlighter of the evening for me was my mocktail. I noticed the drink menu had a cucumber elderberry drink, but I do not drink alcohol, so I ask if they would be willing to make something like it as a mocktail. It was genuinely one of the best mock tails I've ever had. It was so good. I asked if the bartender would mind sharing what she did so I could make some version of it at home. She happily obliged and wrote it down for me. Overall, a wonderful experience that will definitely have me recommending Nicholsons to friends and family!
