Can't believe it has taken me so long to eat here. I've lived on the west side for 10 years now and just had never made it in. The food was great, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was beyond friendly. Ok, second time here now. Tried the mikes mix flavor the first time and this time tried the spicy buffalo flavor and it was really good! The wings are deeply fried to a nice crunch, that's the biggest difference I see between mikes and other places. I wish they had other wing flavors, pretty short list. I tried the chili too and it was ok, had much better. The service was awesome, she told me all about the menu and was super helpful! The ambiance is your usual neighborhood spot, nothing special. read more

Food: 5/5 Wild Mikes is one of my favorite local spots and definitely the best wings in Cincinnati. It's consistently good and always slaps. My classic order is the five-piece traditional mix hot wings, medium blue cheese, and a small cajun fry. The Mike mix is a mix of all their sauces. The blue cheese is homemade, and I can't get enough! I constantly upgrade to a medium blue cheese. I dip my Cajun fries in the extra wing sauce and the blue cheese. My boyfriend gets the eight-piece traditional buffalo medium wings with medium blue cheese. We sometimes try other things on the menu, but nothing is as good as the wings and blue cheese. Service: 3.5/5 I go here enough that I feel like I know all the servers. I have ones I like more than others, but they are generally fast and attentive. This place can get busy because of how great the wings are. Atmosphere: 4/5 The space is a little small, but the tables are clean. They have TVs if you want to watch games. It's a pretty dark sports bar vibe. If they are packed, it can be hard to find parking since it's on a small lot. read more

Bone in wings are excellent. Ordered hot Mikes way to go and got buffalo instead but they were absolutely fantastic. While there i ate medium mikes way large boneless and they were good but not great. Service was solid and quick, and would definitely order the bone in wings again if I'm nearby. read more

Other places don't even compare when it comes to wings and bleu cheese. Garlic hot traditional wings and small cheese fries in the picture. The wings are always perfectly cooked so they're crispy not rubbery. The sauce is good and there is plenty of it and then some. The curly fries are gone from this location but the new fries have a nice crisp to them. They are better with shredded cheese melted on top or sometimes cheese sauce on the side to dip. The blue cheese for the celery is homemade and the best of any wing place. The ladies working here are always nice, check on the tables often and bring the food out quick. read more

I was going to try this establishment. However, I needed to buy 50 wings, and their inflexibility caused me to go to Buffalo Wild Wings right down the street. They would only allow only one sauce to add to my 50 wing order, where Buffalo Wild Wings gave me 6 choices of sauces to add to the same wing order. Due to their lack of flexibility, one sauce on 50 wings, they lost out on what could have had a substantial order. I even may have considered paying more to add more sauces to my order, but that was never offered. Maybe next time. read more

A client suggested we meet for a quick lunch here. I had a burger and it was delicious! However I heard that this place is all about wings. Anyway, this location is small so probably not good for a larger group. Overall the service was excellent and its a very laid back and easy going environment. The food was hot and ready for carry out. I was in and out in just a few minutes. The restaurant looked clean and they were taking COVID safety protocols very seriously. The food is good but I was really hoping for more. I can't say for sure but it's almost like the food quality or ingredients are just not as good as they could be. If you were to tell me this was one of the original BW3s, I would believe you. Same atmosphere, just smaller. My wings were overcooked. They were crunchy and chewy, I know there are people who like them that way. Half of the employees stood at the edge of the bar eating. It doesn't really bother me, as long as it doesn't effect the service. I know a couple people that would be bothered by it. I gave the forth star for two reasons. I think it might deserve 2 stars but the staff is super friendly and polite. The wings were decent. My stomach did not feel that great afterwards. There was a lot of regret. I think The wild mike sauce did me in. I guess when I get an order of fries like this I get a bad taste in my mouth and my wallet. Literally! I don't understand how a cook could serve this and feel okay with it. I think these were suppose to be spiral fries like at Arby's, but they decide to break them all before serving them. Wild Mike's is my favorite place for wings. Seats crispy and that garlic sauce is so tasty. Sometimes it hard to decide between the garlic and Mikes Mix. I really could not get passed the old greasy smell that immediately invades your senses the moment you get near the entrance to be objective about Wild Mike's. And of course, the smell intensifies when you enter the building, which unfortunately is even worse! Very old, grungy and run down, with low tables and chairs, that I kid you not, my grandpa used to sit in every day! To me that was a strong indication that Wild Mikes is not relevant to todays sports bar market! I ordered a Reuben sandwich that was below mediocre. Dry, without flavor, and didn't resemble any reuben sandwich I've ever eaten. The family ordered their chicken wings which are supposedly the best in the west and left quite a few uneaten along with a pile of buttery, bland sauce at the bottom of the basket. We left quickly, even in the middle of the Bengals game, to head out to a REAL sports bar. This past Thursday I ventured to the west side of town for one of my brother-in-law's birthday celebrations. We all decided to go to his favorite wing place, Wild Mike's. Though I think I went to a different Wild Mike's location, this was definitely my first time in this location on Harrison Avenue. Despite this location being relatively small, our table of seven was easily able to get a table together in the middle of the restaurant. Though there were no specials on wings during our visit, their draft beer selections were super cheap. While the choices are limited to American mass-produced beers, they have recently added Yuengling (Lager and Black & Tan) so at least there are some decent choices for a great price. My wife and I agreed to split a large order of boneless wings (1 lb for $12.29 with celery and choice of ranch or blue cheese) bathed in hot Mike's Mix sauce. Mike's Mix is a combination of their sauces so you get to try them all in one bite. This really appealed to me as I sometimes find it hard to pick just one or two sauces. Also I liked that all the flavors are available as mild, medium, hot, xtra hot, and stupid hot. So there are a ton of sauce options available. I really enjoyed the flavor combination that we ordered. The wings game drenched in sauce, enough for our side of fries to be dipped in. Speaking of the curly-q fries, they were good. On their own they are a little bland, but there is an option of Cajun seasoning to be added to them, which I tried and enjoyed. Our table also split an order of jalapeno poppers which were fairly standard but still delicious. I like my experience so much that I can safely say that Wild Mike's could very well be the best wing spot in Cincinnati. read more

The wings are great and the service is fantastic and friendly. Both times we've been there we've waited for an extended period of time before we were greeted ... but it was worth the wait. Bone in or bone out are both good choices. The medium sauce is very similar to Frank Red hot (which I love) but more buttery (which I love even more). Wild Mike's has some pretty tasty wings. We had two baskets: regular spicy and BBQ flavored. The BBQ were my favorite, as I'm not one for epic amounts of hot buffalo sauce. What I kept reaching for was the celery: luscious green stalks that tasted better than other celeries I have tried.
