They have some good chicken wings! Their wings are covered in seasoning and you can select which sauce you want. I usually get Ranch. Haven't tried anything else but , I've never been disappointed by them. So, I don't think I ever will. read more

The location of Mike's Fish and Chicken was formerly a Little Caesar's Pizza on Northland Blvd - my first impression of Mike's was it is largely takeout and delivery. The two tables are fairly small - likely to sit and wait for your order- I was surprised to find the menu had some nice combination dinners - I was hoping for fried chicken - but, the chicken fingers were pretty tasty! I also had the two piece fish combo - aside from being a fairly healthy portion of deep fried crunchy goodness - the combo included a drink - sorry Pepsi fans - only Coke products - to finish off my lunch I got a huge piece of strawberry cake - save room for dessert - because you'll want two pieces! Mike's is one of those hidden gems tucked away in an older established neighborhood in Cincinnati - specifically, Forest Park. If you're reading this review go ahead and order some Mike's. It's delicious fried food, cooked when you order it, seasoned thoroughly. Never over priced always delicious. I ordered fried fish and shrimp and it was soft and soggy! I recommend telling them fry the seafood until well done. In addition, my order was via grub hub and NOT sealed as requested. Proper containers and sealing is very important in today's environment. read more

I entered the shop. One guy was cooking. No one else in sight. The guy looked at me and went back to cooking. Several minutes later another guy came out and without any smile or apology for keeping me waiting, took my order. He charged me a dollar more than the advertised price. Great place to get quick food. Food: My favorite thing from this place is their catfish nuggets, with tartar sauce and hot sauce mix together for dipping. I tried their gyros not bad.Their chicken wings are super delicious with barbecue sauce, Buffalo sauce or by themselves with no sauce. Pros...large portions, hot and fresh food, nice folks working there. Cons...the fish uses a cornmeal breading which was not very flavorful and was chewy. We tried the 2pc cod, fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Honestly was not impressed with much of the food. Did not care for the cornmeal breading at all. The hush puppies were not great, and the fries were nothing special. Overall 3 stars because the portion size was good, the food was cooked to order, and the folks working were friendly. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Attempted to order from Mikes Chicken and Fish through DoorDash. The Door Dasher called me and stated he had waited too long and can't wait anymore so he's not bringing my order. I called the restaurant and the first guy who I spoke to said my order would be ready in 10 minutes for pick up....mind you this is almost 90 minutes after I ordered. I asked him if they were going to refund the tip I gave the dasher since they took too long. He put another guy on the phone who barely speaks English and he tried to tell me I called the wrong location and they don't have my order. I asked to speak with the first guy again, never got resolution. Had to cancel my order through Door Dash and request a full refund from them. This was an order for dinner for 5 totaling $70. You'd think they'd want to accommodate that. So much for supporting small businesses during the pandemic! read more

This place cook the best chicken wings nice and crispy no matter what sauce you choose is worth you're money the place need to be remodel so customer can be waiting in a nice temperature for the season that we have through the year . The food and prices are very good and reasonable. I only have one complaint and to many it may seem insignificant. Please be aware that the prices reflected on their menu usually end in $.99. They will always round up to the next dollar. For instance, if the menu price reflects $5.99 they will charge you $6.00. Personally, I have refused to pay the extra penny as a matter of principle.
