Hi! I visited Arthur's after years of not having it and was extremely disappointed. I had ordered the Breakfast burger Medium and it arrived twice overcooked. I then received my third remake and went home and noticed egg shell inside of one of my burgers and a long black hair. I paid full price and did not take a discount due to the burgers being overcooked. Now I am very upset with seeing egg shells and a hair inside my burger. Service was great, food awful! read more

Hamburgers are among the best in the city! Thick, juicy and so flavorful. The fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The chili is also great, with a nice spicy kick and lots of chunks of meat and beans. The outdoor patio is romantic on a nice summer night, and the cozy dining room with the full-wall mural of notable Cincinnatians is full of character. Services is always relaxed but attentive and friendly. One of our favorite casual dining locations! read more

An institution, right? So, brought the family and friends. Sat quickly. Served promptly. Nachos are not to be ordered. It's just a pile of stuff on chips then popped into the microwave. Fries and sweet potato fries not warm at all. A Saturday of a holiday weekend and the place is dead. Maybe the "institution" has seen its final days. Came here after a recent round of golf in the area and was jonesing for a hefty burger...and that's just what I got! Vibe inside is a bit divey, but old-school and looked exactly like a spot that would have killer burgers. I ordered mine medium rare with American cheese, grilled onions and pickles. The burger arrived just as I'd asked and was super-juicy and delicious. Their fries are fresh cut...could have been cooked a few more minutes (I like 'em more crispy) but that is a minor problem. Enjoyed this hole in the wall before a college basketball game. Were in and out relatively quickly on a Friday evening without a reservation which is nice. After seeing 'The Christmas Carol' at Playhouse in the Park we had dinner here. We took my Son and his Wife and our two youngest grandchildren, a hungry six top. With no reservations taken here we felt sure that the early hour would be safe for our party, and we were right, thank goodness. Our server, Sydney, was table-side as soon as we were comfortably seated, asking if we were ready for drinks, and we were, Bloody Marys for the adults and water for the children. My son and I added a beer. With bar grub being the standard here we were almost unanimously burgers all around all decorated differently and well done fries except for my wife who ordered the Rueben and fries, well done. Sydney was on it right away and she soon returned with our drinks. With her bubbly personality, but not over the top, she is a gem for this establishment and hopefully they treat her well. After a reasonable wait our food was ready and Sydney delivered it with precision remembering who ordered what. The presentation was very good and the food arrived hot, and on a warm plate, especially important on such a cold day as today. Kudos to the kitchen! The burgers were cooked perfectly and the well done fries were actually well done and they were salted. My wife reports that her Rueben had warm corned beef AND the sauerkraut was warm, too. The bread was perfectly grilled and this made her a very happy diner! So many places make terrible Rueben sandwiches. Sydney made sure that our drinks and waters were kept full as needed and we could not have been happier with her service. I would be amiss if I did not mention the ambiance of Arthur's, the low lighting and the old wooden bar and the wooden booths make it a sure stop for this community. This was a very pleasant dining experience for us, and we will be back, probably after our next visit to the Playhouse in the Park. read more

Arthur's is such a solid spot. It feels like your go-to neighborhood place but with better food and drinks than you'd expect. The burgers are awesome--mine was cooked just right and loaded up with all the good stuff. Onion rings were crispy and hit the spot. The best part though? The cocktail I got. I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but they've got some elevated drinks on the menu. I had one with gin and cucumber that tasted super fresh and clean, like something you'd get at a fancy bar, but in a chill setting. Glad to come back again to Arthur's and get to experience the outdoor seating in the back, it's beautiful! There's a lower level and upper area in the back with plenty of foliage and fans to keep the air moving. Will definitely choose to eat outside any time I get the option! My mom had the original burger and loved it, you definitely get a thick chunk of meat ("that was a lot of burger!"). I tried the fried chicken salad, and with these types of salads I don't think you can go wrong or mess it up, so I loved it nonetheless and there was adequate chicken to salad ratio :). Place wasn't bad. Took me a minute to figure out where to enter, but the staff was really helpful when I did make it in. And bonus points to the woman at the bar for pronouncing my name correctly, because literally no one does without me telling them how it's pronounced--I only wish I'd gotten her name so that I could have sent her manager a note to let her know! I don't eat at Arthur's often, but every time I do, it is fantastic! I have never had a bad experience or a bad meal at Arthur's. The service is always great. The food is reasonably priced compared to big chain restaurants like Applebees, Longhorn, Fridays, etc. I can't eat them anymore but I LOVED their mozzarella sticks. So stinking delicious. I haven't been since I started being gluten free, but I loved their fried chicken salad. Their croutons must've homemade- they're giant and delicious. I need to examine their menu to see what I can have. I'm non-Celiac gluten sensitive, so I'm not as worried about cross-contamination. But I've always loved Arthur's. Make sure to go on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays to take advantage of their burger madness special when you can choose an unlimited # of toppings (excluding gourmet toppings and a limit of 6 slices of cheese -- I'm curious about the story behind what prompted this limit) for any burger. The burgers are served with fries. I've tried their regular fries as well as their sweet potato fries -- both are delicious. They had a good draft selection and our food was 8. We started with the deep fried cheese which was definitely s favorite and a must have. Burgers were good and done correctly. Cajun fries had a good kick to them and the sweet potato fries were the standard. The Mexican chicken salad was a good size as well and packed a ton of flavor.
