It's just your local sports bar. What makes this place is the people. From the bar tending staff to the Delhi regulars. The draft beer wasn't the coldest I've had. The food menu is simple ordinary bar food. My wife ordered an omelette. She said it was delicious. I went on the healthier side and ordered a small side salad. I was taken back when it was brought to the table in a small coffee cup. Small on calories and small in size. Maloney's is a cool place to hang out with friends, watch a game, and drink. read more

To the owner of Maloney's... shame on you. You've lost some longstanding patrons tonight. Let me be clear... it's not about the money. You don't treat your regulars as thieves. Even after your staff vouched and confirmed authenticity of the gift cards that were issued from a Grand Prize Trivia contest, you rejected them as fakes. Really?? Do you think we're that hard up for money to print fakes and steal from you? We pass by a dozen of bars on our 30 min drive to come to your establishment, to support your bar. No more after tonight. We are sorry for your bar staff that were embarrassed to relay the news to us. The fact that they have to take a picture of the gift card, send it to you and then wait on your approval is an absolute joke. If you're that concerned about people from stealing from you, then perhaps you need to figure out a better way to keep track of the gift cards you hand out, as many other establishments seem to be able to do. On the bright side for you.... you get some money back from the gift card we won tonight, that we won't be redeeming. read more

If I could rate a zero I would! They "claim" that they are a Irish restaurant...BS! It's like saying McDonalds is like "fine dining" I went there for St. Patrick's Day after work this year! Over priced everything! A souvenir mug filled with Guinness, and a burger set me back a total of $30! The burger was passable( even though I asked for no cheese and no mayo, it came slathered with mayo, so much that if I took a bite, tons of mayo came out)! It was packed and noisy (usually St. Patrick's atmosphere)....I was sitting at one of the bar trying to enjoy my burger and drink while watching the Men's tournament.....it took over ONE HOUR for a person to come down to my end! I asked if I could get my mug rinsed and filled with Coca-Cola...her response was "go to the bathroom and rinse it and come back"...so I a sense "do it yourself, come back, and MAYBE a server will get you again"!...they have a large bar and we're only focusing on the front half. Also, as I was waiting to get service, leaning my head on my hand (in a frustrated pose), the head bar manger is saying "you got to wake up, you have to wake up"....I'm AWAKE ASSHOLE!!! You're serving is terrible and it's been FOREVER since a server came down the the far end! Also, they keep serving people PAST their drinking point! Trying to park in their TINY lot, I noticed a guy that had drunkenly face planted, then try to get up and land on his ass again! A worker was being trash around the corner and could've seen this! Don't know what happened to the individual, but could've been a lawsuit, especially if he tried to drive! Patrons were also going behind the bar area to get access to the back patio (instead of going around)....staff couldn't care less, as well as patrons walking the end/behind bar, to flag down a server at the POS register....HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!! Maybe it's good on a week day or weekend, but a holiday IT IS NOT!!! The only reason I would EVER come here again: 1.) my company's Christmas party was here and 2.) if Burger week had a location here....and even then it would be a maybe! read more

I don't need a lot to have a good time. If I'm offered a beer, a place to sit, and a friendly conversation, I can be entertained for hours. I don't need fancy cocktails and a trendy atmosphere to have a good night. Maloney's gets my drift and offers only the bare minimum. I dig that. My friend lives down the road from Maloney's and has wanted to pop in for awhile now to see what's up. It looks very divey and a little sketchy on the outside, but the inside is much roomier than expected. There's a long bar and three sitting rooms, along with some darts and shuffle boards. My friend and I took a seat at the bar next to a breathalyzer. I don't know how to feel about those things. My thought process is that if you feel like you need take a whirl on it, you're probably not good enough to drive. Anyway, we ordered two beers and headed over to play shuffleboard. The prices for a tall draft were under $5 which made me happy. I was also excited that all the pieces were present to play shuffleboard. Too often you'll find bars have the main gaming pieces but not enough smaller ones (cornhole without bags, dart boards without darts, etc.). We played a few rounds, drank a few rounds, and enjoyed our time. I wouldn't necessarily put Maloney's on my list to be, but it seems like a good, solid, friendly neighborhood bar. read more

I stopped in for lunch. My first visit. I loved the pub feel as you enter. I decided to sit at the bar. There are tables for seating too. The lunch special was Double Decker BLT with your choice of fries. I asked if I could substitute the soup of the day instead of the fries. The answer was yes! So I enjoyed tomato soup with my sandwich. The bartender that served me was a long time employee who normally works evening. I feel the food is reasonably priced. There were several beers on tap. I asked to see the wine list. They have wine for all tastes. It was reasonably priced. A nice neighborhood pub that has been in business many years. read more

The food was quick yet lacking... l had to listen to the cook complain to the server over and over again. Had to pay extra for cheese sauce (was the best part of the meal) extra for 17 undercooked tater tots, I was underwhelmed too say the least... P.s. never order , way overpriced! Maybe if I had been part of the "click" or "desired clientele" my food would've been pefect!!! So disappointed!!!!! read more

I came in for happy hour with some co-workers from the 'West Side'. Not a bad place overall. The new owner has put a lot of work into the building, so it looked a lot different than I remembered from years ago. Definitely large enough on the inside to hold a lot of people who are in the mood to get their 'drink on'. Cheap buckets of beer and popcorn was plenty to keep me happy for a couple of hours. I've never eaten here so I have no idea if the food is worth trying or not. But it's a good spot to hang out with friends and shoot the ***t. read more

I used to come to this bar in college and it was pretty dank and divey back then. I recently was looking for a quick drink and Delhi and decided to stop in with very little expectations. Imagine my surprise when I walked into an open and light bar, the opposite of how I remembered it. They even have a pretty darn good menu. I had a Teriyaki chicken salad that was very good and large. Prices are really cheap as well. My friend had a Grilled Chicken Wrap that was only ok. They are even open for breakfast!!!! Drinks are West Side cheap. They even offer red and blue shushies with your choice of alcohol!!!! Imagine red shlushie with Swedish fish vodka! Yum. Saving that for next time. Service was excellent our entire visit. This place is not half bad. I'm not a die-hard, born and bred West-sider, so a little bit of the charm of this place is probably lost on me. It is conveniently located, though, just off Dehli Pike, which is very close to some of my family who lives over there. I met up with my family to watch my cousin compete in the Delhi Rising Star competition. The place is pretty big, yet very dive-y, which I happen to like. The bartenders were quick and pretty friendly. The drinks and the food were very reasonably priced- and I actually really enjoyed what I got, despite it being "bar food." I had the Teriyaki Chicken Salad- I was a little concerned because their selection of dressings didn't really lend to the idea of a teriyaki chicken breast on top- but I was pleased that the chicken and teriyaki sauce were juicy enough that I didn't actually need the dressing at all! They have a decent selection of beers- but don't really come here looking for any specialty craft beers or anything. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a west-side dive bar. It was a pretty fun night, all-in-all, I'd go back again to meet up with friends or family if they suggested it. read more

The prices during happy hour and game days are unbelievable! I ordered the chicken fingers and no more than seven minutes later I had the food in front of me. The chicken wings and fingers are very appetizing. They also serve breakfast. The breakfast special they have is ridiculous, a boat load of eggs, meat, potatos, and toast for under three dollars. This is a place to unwind after a long day. The prices are friendly and the food is cheap and the wait staff is amazing. I have been going here for several years and I love it. Maloney's is a standard bar. The beer is cold and they serve the standard fare of bar food. The wings are supposed to be their specialty. Most people I know really like them but I prefer my wings without breading. The food is okay but priced reasonably. The service is very good. The bartender takes time to know you and remembers when you come in the next time. She's always ready to offer suggestions when you just don't know what to order. HORRIBLE OWNER. I would've left 0 stars if I could. Took my ID because I had an X on my hand from an earlier craft show. Said I could still stay in the bar if I was not drinking, then proceeded to kick me out 20 minutes later for having a drink in front of me which was NOT mine. I told him to check his cameras and he said he would call the police to breathalyze me. Maloney's Pub, hidden in Delhi and mostly only known by Westsiders is a low key real laid back neighborhood bar. Walking in everyone knows everyone and have been there for years. The pub is divided into three very convenient sections with dart boards and a pool room on the sides with a big section in the middle where you can find high tables, popcorn and a soda fountain. The drinks are very reasonable and they have bucket specials on game days. The kitchen serves typical bar food which stays open as long as the bar is. If you are one the Westside and want to kickback - relax with old friends away from the bustling bars downtown this is a great choice. read more

What a great place and a fun spot. It's your neighborhood bar super sized. The staff is the best and always always always does a great job. It's family owned and a family member is always on site. Being family owned they sure do treat you like family. This place rocks like nobody's business during football season. The building shakes. let me first say our food was AWESOME! our service was not! me and my bf walked into the bar sat down a lady came over right away and took our order. Then another lady came and brought us our food, then she said you know you have to be 21 to be in here, just a heads up for next time. We were both like we are 24, shes like oo and walks away. THen the rest of our time there our oginal waiter paid no attention to us I had to walk up to the bar to get anything I needed. Then when we did order drinks we were carded which is fine, but it was the manner on how it was handeled. so rude! most likely never coming back! read more
