Lunch and mini golf, what's not too love? We got garlic cheese curds and buffalo boneless wings a an appetizer. Both were good and came out hot. Our entrees were not far behind them. I had the orange chicken crunch sandwich, it was good, the fries were hot - couldn't quite pinpoint the seasoning on them, it was... interesting. Service was friendly and atmosphere was great. We played a round of putt putt after lunch. We decided to do the "hard" course. It was really fun, some neat trick shots to try out. Loved the different theme at each hole. I'm split on Par 3. I'm giving it 5 stars for the mini golf, but 1 star for service. Without exaggeration, I experienced perhaps the worst service I've ever encountered at a restaurant (and I've dined at my share of Taco Bells and Buffalo Wild Wings)! It began by having a full cup of water accidentally dumped on two members of our party with barely a mention of apology, then being given no choice but to be on a single check for our party of 10 (due apparently to the hostess seating our party before all members had arrived, even though we said we didn't need to wait on them and they could get their own table when they arrived). We were then ignored for about 15 minutes after placing our food order, leading to several members of our party going to the bar to request drink refills. Later, after mistakenly placing similar hamburger entrees in front of the wrong guests (one with a side of extra pickles and one without), our waiter literally took the plate with the extra pickles away from the guest after they had already begun eating and put it in front of the other guest so they could grab the pickles, then returned the plate to the original guest. Finally, when a member of our party asked for a glass of ice water later in the meal, our waiter looked around our table and saw a full glass of water in front of another diner at our table and said, "here's a full one!", placed it in front of our thirsty friend and then walked away. Really?!? He was either completely untrained or simply inept, but it made for a terrible dining experience. The food was decent, but the menu largely consists of fried and high-fat foods. The mini golf, on the other hand, was creative, challenging and fun. It was unlimited play across three 9-hole courses. At $26 per person it is not cheap, but if you have time to play a lot of holes it is a fair value. Digital scoring and uniquely themed holes made for an entertaining experience. Hopefully the restaurant side of Par 3 will quickly match the golf side of the establishment. read more

Such a fun place! I love everything about par 3. The staff is friendly, the food is good and you get to choose a pretty drink off the menu if you don't want regular glass. There is an area for kids to do their own putt putt but they can also join you in the other 2 areas that available for play. What a fun place! We stopped in to celebrate a birthday on a Friday evening. Started with a couple rounds of drinks and the bbq chicken flatbread. The flatbread was pretty good! Flavors were good, but it was just a bit over cooked so the flatbread crust was a bit burned. We played 9 holes in the video game course. Such a fun time! Some of the holes were extremely tough like the KY bball hole. Overall we had a great time. Plus, Friday they have $5 green tea shots so we ended our time with a round of those. read more

Par 3 is the kind of place that makes you forget you're terrible at mini golf. Let's start with the staff: top-tier humans. The bar team pours drinks like they're trying to help you forget your short game, and the front desk guy deserves a hydration award for going full Indiana Jones to track down ice water for my 6-year-old, who acts like she's just crossed the Mojave anytime we leave the house. The courses were fun--creative enough to keep things interesting, but not so tricky that you end up rage-quitting on hole 9 and blaming the carpet. I do wish they had one of those fancy ball tracker things that keeps score for you, mainly because math is hard and I cheat when no one's looking. But even keeping score manually wasn't a deal-breaker. Honestly, it was kind of nostalgic. Like the '90s, but with better drinks. And the view? Right on the river. So while you're lining up your third putt (after pretending the first two didn't count), you can at least tell yourself you're golfing scenic. I haven't tried the food yet, but between the drinks, the course, and the chill vibe, I'll definitely be back--hopefully with fewer strokes and more fries. read more

It's $25.00 per person and you can choose two 9 hole. They have movie, carnival, and video game themes. We chose carnival and video games. The course is definitely not easy but very fun. I only had one hole in one. Each course is unique and loved the different set up. Before we played, we had lunch in the dining area. The drink and food menu are very simple. Par 3 might bring new life to Newport On The Levee. It is the most unique mini golf experience I have ever had. The art direction and attention to detail on each hole is an experience in itself. The facility houses three 9 hole courses in total. In addition to the mini golf, giant TVs broadcast popular sporting events with DJ inspired dance mixes keep you entertained and moving while you wait your turn on each hole. The drink menu is bright and fun. The food is better than most bar food. I only had the bbq nachos, but they were above average. The rest of Newport needs to follow suit with this experiential type of attraction. Bypass the odd vendors and enjoy your night out at Par 3 Putt! read more

I'm a total fan of mini-golf, and have been since I was a kid, so when I found out about this place recently, I knew I had to go and my lady agreed too. We found it on Instagram and finally decided to go recently and we're glad we went. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the mini-golf courses were VERY unique. We went on a Monday that we both had off for lunch, libations, and a few rounds of golf. The place itself is in the former Barnes & Noble building, mostly on the second floor, and has lots of seating for dining as well as a nice bar area. They have three mini-golf courses consisting of nine holes each and all differently themed. My lady and I started out with lunch. We both had a Narragansett Lager, my lady ordered the caprese flatbread, and I got the al pastor pork colossal taco. We didn't wait long at all before it was all ready. My lady really liked her flatbread and my taco was DEFINITELY colossal. The pork itself was very flavorful too. After lunch, we decided to go for 18 holes of mini-golf, which means two of the 9-hole courses. We choose the Birdie and Eagle courses. Both were fun and very challenging and we really enjoyed the unique themes. It was a little pricey but it's unlike any other mini-golf course you'll find anywhere around greater Cincinnati. We really enjoyed the experience and could see coming back wity friends. They have a cool list of daily special events as well as Monday through Friday happy hour. Go for karaoke night on Tuesdays and you get a free round of golf if you sing. We may just have to go then. read more

I had the orange chicken sandwich - 5/5, hubby had the candied bacon bleu burger - 4/5 and kiddo had the chicken bites... mom liked them but kiddo didn't. We were well taken care of by the shift manager, during a slow sunday night. Dont know how they perform at busy times - but I wouldnt hesitate to find out. I am so glad that they opened this indoor miniature golf course in Newport! We have been 3 times and it is always very clean and everything is working- no balls getting stuck in weird places on any of the courses. This place has so much potential, but do to the putt putt courses not being attended by staff and kids not being attended by parents it made for a pretty miserable experience. My husband and I had a day away from our kids and love putt putting so we thought a perfect place to enjoy, the bartender was wonderful. But when we actually went to putt putt we had teenage boys running all over our course while we were trying to play, almost hitting us with balls on multiple occasions, playing courses multiple times or trying to jump ahead of us. It made for a pretty annoying experience and we were pretty excited to get out of there rather than play more. read more
