Fish n chips basket. Very good

2023- it's their 50th anniversary. They have revamped the menu and the food is the best it has ever been! If you were disappointed at all by the food in the past, I really recommend trying it again!!

Turkey club hoagie- was fine

Edible, yes. Good, not really, but you get an enjoyable atmosphere (if you like casual marina spots). Lots of complaints about service on Yelp, but we had relatively good service. The sampler platter was fine (boneless buffalo wings, fried pickles, mini corn dogs, chips and salsa, toasted ravioli). The pickles were my favorite... and I don't like pickles much. I'm pretty sure all of the sampler was pre packaged and frozen. My turkey club was also fine. Was a good size and they buttered and toasted the bread. My tomatoes on it were rotten. My partner's burger looked like they cooked the life out of it and then cooked it some more. He wasn't happy with his meal. From the look of it, I can see why.

Super friendly and casual. On the river.....but. main seating doesn't go up and down with boating activity. First time....good food and drink at a reasonable price. Live entertainment we understand on weekends.....we'll check it out.

I've only been once, and I freely admit that it could have been an off night, not indicative of the normal quality of this place. However, I have to report it as I experienced it. I have a slightly higher standard for these river side bars because there are quite a few and I have had a great time at a number of them. There is ample parking, though the lot can be a bit dark at night, so it helps to remember where you parked. The walk to the bar is downhill and somewhat steep, so if you have trouble on inclines, keep this in mind. The layout of the venue itself is well spread out. There are several bars, however, I rarely saw people tending these bars excepting the main bar inside the central building structure. The servers were also hard to track down. I had a very long wait for drinks and food, the same was true for paying at the end of the night. Their draft beer selection was quite limited. They appeared to have a decent liquor selection but I didn't inspect it in detail. They do have some specials on buckets of bottled beer. I didn't try much of the food, but I did order some jalapeno poppers which were, in my opinion, sub par. The peppers themselves tasted more like green peppers, the cheese tasted more like food product than actual food. They also were a bit overcooked. The atmosphere is nice sitting out on the river. They have a few different sections. Some sway and dip more than others. If the water is choppy from wakes or weather, the outermost barge portion gets moving. This can be an issue for people who are sensitive to the swaying motion. They also have live music, though the night I was there, it wasn't all that impressive/inspiring.

For what it is this place is, it's okay. It's a riverside dock and dive. If you're out boating on the river, you can stop to refuel your boat or dock it for a break. Head to the restaurant to use the restrooms, hang out at the bar, or get a bite to eat. No five star dining here, but they do have fairly decent food, including a veggie burger. Since it is a dive, don't expect it to be too clean (hopefully the kitchen is) and, since it's in Kentucky, they allow smoking. Yuck! Would I go out of my way to go here? No. Would I go here again if I were out on the river? Yes.

It was super busy and nearly every table was full and people were waiting outside. Service was friendly and our drink orders were taken within a few minutes. We ordered 3 appetizers: yuca fries, crispy Brussels sprouts, guacamole and chips. My fave of the 3 was probably the guacamole: chunky and flavorful. I also liked the green sauces that came with the Brussels and yuca fries. The yuca fries were large, like steak fries. They come on a smallish plate and probably best for 2-3 people to share. Same for the Brussels sprouts. The guac and chips were on a large plate and there was a generous amount of guac (larger portion than the other sauces). Plenty of chips to share among our table. There were 2 fish fry orders from our table and no complaints. Little Mister thought it was "great" and he ate the entire thing except for the coleslaw, of which he is not a fan anyway. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I really liked the generous serving of chicken and it was perfectly cooked and tender. The dressing was tasty and the croutons were crunchy. The lettuce was shredded more than chopped which is fine. Overall it was a decent Caesar. I like having a Caesar option at pub. The Brussels sprouts were decent also. Somewhat crispy though not as crispy as hubs would have liked. I usually order crispy Brussels whenever possible when we go out and I'd give these a mid to high 4 of 5 stars. The sauce was delicious. Our plates were cleared a couple of times during our meal even though every server was super busy and we did have plenty of water. Parking is sometimes available on the street directly in front of the pub but there is also parking a short walk as well. There's dessert next door as well as at UDF for a short walk. Fun area with a lot going on and I like that there are outdoor patio seating options as well. I would definitely come back here. Mid 4 stars, happily rounded up to 5.

Stopped in for a quick late lunch…read more They were very quiet and we were seated on the patio promptly. The menu is small but well executed. Our sandwiches, chicken and burger, were tasty. The Brussels sprouts were excellent, but if course they were. My biggest issue was the value. Everything is ala carte and kinda pricey. I think my solo chicken sandwich was $16. No sides, not even chips. It was good, but ... We drive by here all the time. The value, or lack thereof, makes me question whether we'll stop again.

After driving by this place for three years. I said why not give it a try... Well for one thing they cook your meal to order. So that knocks out KFC & all the other chains. I placed my order for six tenders and took a seat. In the 15 minutes I waited six other people came in for carry out orders. It's 7:45 they close in 15 minutes and it's a Tuesday night.
