This is one of my new favorite restaurants! The filet medallions were so good! All the sides were so good especially the grilled brussel sprouts! They have a great bourbon selection too! The old world charm atmosphere was amazing ! The service was quick and great! Loved that the antique wood bar that was saved from Indiana and brought back to life in Ohio! Had several of their specialty mixed drinks and they were very good! We definitely be back!!! read more

Can't say enough good things about my recent experience at Bishop's Quarter, and the wonderful job they did hosting my daughter's law school graduation celebration. The food was incredible. The staff was warm and welcoming. But what really stood out for our group were the mocktails. Absolutely out of this world. Zach, our assigned bartender was fantastic: efficient, friendly, creative, and such a big part of making the party feel special and fun for everyone. This palce has something truly special about it. Everyone was warm, and upbeat, and treats you like family. And yes- the food really was that good! read more

Visited this restaurant for the first time over the weekend with my wife and another couple. Lovely New Orleans themed building with three levels. The ground floor is a traditional dining area, nicely appointed. The second floor was closed so we didn't get to see it. We were seated on the third floor, which is more sports bar themed and includes both indoor and patio options. The patio was not in use due to the threat of uncooperative weather. We had reservations and were seated quickly. The service was attentive and friendly. Despite the New Orleans vibe, the menu had only a handful of Louisiana style dishes and was more in line with a typical variety menu. I was down for some Cajun cuisine but there were few dishes that looked attractive. We shared apps of flash fried Brussels sprouts with remoulade and some Cajun dry rubbed wings, both of which were enjoyable but far from exceptional. I also ordered the jambalaya, which was more of a very spicy chicken and andouille stew with a scoop of rice in the center, not my usual experience with jambalaya. I'm a spicy food guy but even I thought the spice level of the dish was pretty aggressive and probably too much for the average diner. My companions' dishes were merely okay. The place boasts a bourbon emphasis, but I found the wine and beer selections to be lackluster. At the end of the exercise the bill for four people with two or three adult beverages each, plus tax and tip, was a little under $300. Overall it was a decent experience but not sure if I would be inclined to repeat it at that price point. read more

Low key Birthday dinner for my wife tonight. Bren and the entire staff were awesome. Oysters were outstanding.

I had heard one of the local content creators suggest this place, but I wasn't amazed. The salmon was ok, loved the Brussels, but the grits were way too salty for me. My server had no problem getting me something different. But I'd honestly say this is a one and done type of visit or maybe I expected too much. read more

Overall, a great dinner experience, but a few negatives. My husband enjoyed his crab cakes and I loved my filet medallions. They were a little overcooked for medium, but they were so tender that I didn't notice. The server was friendly and helpful. The main negatives were that our sides were barely lukewarm, and this was an anniversary dinner celebration. We thought we had a day of reservation in the arch room, but were displaced by a whiskey tasting event into the noisy sports bar area. If we'd known in advance, we might have gone elsewhere. read more

The Bishops Quarter is a great neighborhood spot! First, the whole area in downtown Loveland is pretty cool with the bike trail and other restaurants. The drinks were great! I had the street sipper which was phenomenal. For dinner I had the blackened grouper with Parmesan grits and Brussels which was really good. I would not of expected a creole/cajun cuisine in Cincinnati to hold its water but it did! read more

Enjoyed the live music in a comfortable space in a cool building. Service was a bit slow to take our order, but once we had ordered I was astounded at how quickly our food came - someone brought our appetizer within just a minute or two after the waiter had taken our order, and our main dishes were out before we finished the brussel sprouts. The cocktail was very good, and the brussel sprouts were fine. The Cajun pasta was a perfect portion size, and the shrimp was delicious, the sausage was fine, the chicken was rather tough and not terribly flavorful. The breadstick also lacked any flavor, though it did soak up the pasta sauce nicely. It was expensive for what I got. Overall I'm glad I tried it, and I would enjoy meeting up for drinks here, but I don't think I'd be in a hurry to order dinner again. read more

Attended a special event- a Mixology Class and then had dinner here for Valentine's Day, and had an exceptional evening tonight. We had visited here once before a few years ago and were uninspired. But- This visit more than made up for it. The event itself was wonderful, and dinner was fantastic as well. If ever in Loveland, Ohio, I highly recommend this restaurant not only for the exceptional service, but the fantastic food and drinks as well. Thank you for making this Valentines a night to remember fondly. read more

Downtown Loveland with a great New Orleans feel. Seating main floor, upstairs. Out on the gallery, up on the roof. Ok enough about the building... food was good. Staff was really good. Parking nearby. Casual atmosphere but dress nice. read more

I enjoyed my drink and meal here. I had the blackened grouper with parm grits and fried brussels all was very tasty. However my friend said the tour of New Orleans was pretty flavorless. The strawberry smash could use a lil simple syrup for a lil more sweetness. Service was FAST & Friendly.... The building definitely time travels you to New orleans . Has 3 stories !!... Would come back again!! read more

There were four of us that came to listen to our friends play music on a Friday night. The hostesses couldn't have been more lovely explaining the wait, then getting us in for our table through the crowded bar area. Our server, Lilly, was friendly and on the ball throughout our dinner. For the table we order fish and chips, buffalo chicken sandwich, and the creole pasta. The fish had an great batter and the fries were also good. The creole pasta was very creamy and comforting, and the chicken sandwich was overcooked so the breading had a yucky taste and the chicken was very dry. In addition, they pour a mean drink, which I appreciate. This place is a solid restaurant with a fun atmosphere. In the summer it's even better with the decks and patios. read more

Service and food were good. It is very busy on a Saturday night. It has a youthful vibe. It's very noisy when it's busy. We all enjoyed our food; the Creole Pasta, The deluxe bacon cheeseburger and New Orleans crabcake with blackened grouper. We were all happy with our choices. Parking is a headache here in Loveland but there is definitely a lot of fun dinner options in this strip. read more

I really like this eatery. My lovely Mrs looooves this establishment. The location, the folks working here and the food we have ordered has always been delicious. We've usually dined on the 1st floor which is has a very old school bar eatery but with the weather being so nice here as of lately, the hostess asked if we wanted to eat on the 3rd floor patio. Which we'd never been up to but it's quite lovely. Seated in the bar area, live music and a nice breeze rolling thru. We ordered drink specials; vanilla old fashioned and strawberry smash and they were both incredibly tasty. We shared fish and chips. Had no clue they'd divide the dish in two separate plates instead of us doing the work once it arrived. That was unexpected but much appreciated. The fish was perfect. I don't know what brand of French fries they use but kudos to whomever chose them!! As always, everybody who works here is super friendly and attentive. For sure will go back. read more

This place looked pretty promising from the Google reviews online. Went in on a Monday night. They didn't have a wait staff for the evening so the bartenders were doing workin the floor and the bar. Monday night is oyster night so I ordered a dozen and a drink. The oysters were shucked in advance and judging from how dry and shriveled up they were it was likely night before. They didn't bother to remove the oysters from the adductor muscle so I had to awkwardly pry them away with a butter knife . Finished my drink half way through my appetizer and tried unsuccessfully to get someone's attention for another drink and order dinner. Finished my oysters and still unable to get a drink. Guys behind the bar were talking about their works schedules for the upcoming weekend. Decided to skip the next drink and the entree. Cool looking space. No plans on going back. read more

I planned a special dinner with my sisters because one of them was moving to another state. We'd traveled 2 hours to try this place. This restaurant is in a busy area but the restaurant did not have Handicapped parking, which I needed. I parked nearby with fear that i would be towed. The hostess assured us that it would be fine. Still, it did not still my fears over dinner. Restaurant was practically empty since it wasn't quite 4 pm. I had looked at the menu on line before arriving and was looking forward to the shrimp and grits. I asked the waitress and she apologized that it showed so on line but that it was no longer on the menu. My one sister and I ordered the crab cakes. The menu option offered savory rice. When the meal came, the rice was white, unflavored and no salt. Waitress offered something else, so I settled for brussel sprouts. The crab cakes tasted more like canned salmon cakes and the option for grits was like eatingcardboardwith cheese. The waitress was slow and slow to fill our drinks. Needless to say, most of the meal for all of us was a disappointment. Our trip to Cincinnati was at almost a loss if we hadn't gone over to Graeter's for ice cream. read more

This has become my go-to place when I want to have a great night for sure. The atmosphere is great, and all the food is delicious. We've had the shrimp cocktail, raw oysters on the half shell, and we order those almost every time. The burger is perfect, the French dip, and French onion soup give you a warm and cozy feeling. It's like home food (if your mom is a good cook!) I had the salmon with citrus sauce tonight and it was great. Reese was our waiter tonight and kudos to him! Very attentive. The live music was just a bonus. Try it out! read more

Some friends were showing us around Loveland and suggested this place for dinner, so we gave it a shot. We were seated in a great spot on the 2nd floor balcony - it had an awesome New Orleans vibe. Our server (Christa?) was super friendly and attentive. I started with the French Onion Soup and it was quite good. For my entree, I had the crab cakes and I enjoyed them...great flavor and consistency. We finished our meal with the beignets, which were a wonderful treat! read more

First time at Bishops Quarter in Loveland. Service was outstanding thanks to our server Owen. I had the Filet Medallions - cooked perfectly to my liking- very rare per my request; my husband had the creole pasta and found it delicious as well. This is our new go-to spot since we moved to Loveland. The atmosphere is great. They have live music often, a rooftop terrace, and great food. I'm a huge fan of the blackened grouper. We stopped in on a cold afternoon for lunch with another couple. The bourbon menu is extensive. Even though it was lunch, I ordered a Woodford Reserve Wheat on the rocks. The first thing to note is it is served with a single square ice cube. I ordered the fish and chips which was outstanding! We introduced our friends to fried cheese curds which was an instant hit. The other noteworthy fish was a sea bass on salad entree. The ladies both loved the sea bass. My friend ordered a wrap and was thrilled. All in all, the experience was wonderful and the Woodford warmed me up. We will definitely go back. If you are a bourbon fan, you need to check this place out, enjoy. read more

The service was terrible! We ate our meals without being offered a refill from our appetizers. It took us 20 minutes to get our bill. They had live "music" but unfortunately the guy only knew how to yell, not sing so it was quite disturbing. We will not be back! read more

I'd wanted to try this place for a while and I wish it was a better experience. I'll start with Service as it can save a bad meal. The host staff made my wife feel like we were an inconvenience more than a guest which I wish that I would have took the clues. The rest of the service staff were a bit friendlier but I would not claim to feel like I was a wanted customer with a constant reminder of how busy they were. I had ordered the filet dish (medium) and it was so overdone it looked more like a hamburger on the 4th of July. If the meal were not $200+, I'd really not have been too harsh but I believe that with my mention of it to the waiter, something should have been done and nothing was. As time passed the place had become standing room everywhere in the dining area. We got up and one of the wait staff asked if we were leaving and we said yes and their response was "Thank god." I really don't want places to fail but, this was the epitome of failure for us last night. Food, service and all. A recommendation I would give is for the management and staff to read "Unreasonable Hospitality " by Will Guidara. read more

Visited on a Saturday for a private event. Was a little hard to find parking nearby during peak time (12 PM). Tried a lavender martini off the menu which was very flavorful and then switched to classic martini which was also very tasty. For food they had brussel sprouts, salad, chicken pasta and pretzel bites. The food was good and had a lot of flavor. The downfall was the plates, as ALL of them were dirty. There was a stack of almost 100 plates and every single one was not clean. Hopefully this was a slip up before a big event, but no way to tell read more

Bishops Quarter is a New Orleans inspired restaurant in downtown Loveland. We recently went for a friend's rehearsal dinner and loved it! It definitely reminded me of the trips I've taken down to NOLA and the walks to Cafe Du Monde for coffee & beignets. Here's what we had: Fried Brussel Sprouts with Remolade Soft Pretzels and Beer Cheese Bruschetta Cajun Chicken Pasta Gumbo Hazelnut Beignets Cheesecake Bites Everything was so, so good! Sprouts are one of my favorite foods and these had great flavor with an excellent sauce, and the gumbo was quality (it also had shrimp in it which was not listed in the menu). I would definitely return here to try other items on the menu. I also thought the pretzels and beer cheese were bomb. read more

We truly enjoy this place. However, this visit was disappointing. The jambalaya was terrific as usual. But I ordered the filet medallions. There is no way the cut of beef I received was a filet. It was fatty, grisly and overall, a poor cut of beef. It was drowning in brown gravy, though tasty, that I'm sure was to cover the poor cut of beef. We'll go back but I know to order something else next time. read more

Great service! Great music! I Ordered too much! My husband got the French onion soup and the shrimp poo boy sandwich with a Tom Collins to drink - he loved the food and drink. Not a drop was left in the bowl or on the plate! My son got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries - he said the chicken was grilled perfectly. And again not a drop was left. I got the Brussel sprouts appetizer with the vegetarian poo boy sandwich. LOVED the Brussel sprouts and not a drop was left. I ended yup taking half my sandwich home and the sweet potato fries (yum yum) went home with my son. Go! I got the espresso martini to drink - reminded me of a chocolate martini - dessert with lunch - yum again!! read more

Aesthetically, this place hits all the marks. Gas lamps outside, wood bar inside. Extensive (overpriced) bourbon list. We asked the server how big the bourbon pours were. She initially said 1oz. We were surprised given some of the pricing and said we would order if the pours were at least 1.5oz. She proceeded to check 3 times with different people and flip flopped each time between pour sizes. Turns out it is 1.5oz, confirmed after we had finished our meal and were cashing out. Server and 3 others stood behind the bar chatting for most of our meal. Mixed drink was never served, water was never refilled, server never checked in on food (which was delivered by a food runner). Food is "not terrible" largely because the frozen tater tots were cooked well. Skip the grouper tacos. Grouper was well seasoned, but on flour tortillas with a small smear of (flavorful) avocado, it turned into a gummy mess. For $16 you can get better tacos at the food truck next door. read more
