We went here on a Thursday evening. We went later so it was not too busy. For a starter we got the burrata toast. It was awesome, the burrata was fresh and the toast was perfect. For dinner I got the hot honey chicken sandwich. I am usually sensitive to spice but I found the sandwich enjoyable. For dessert we had the chocolate cake. We had Brussels sprouts and a feta appetizer. Then dinner - one steak frites, one scallops, one primavera and one lamb meatballs with salad. Everyone loved their choices. We had room for dessert as well: crème brûlée and a decadent chocolate dessert. Perfect! Our server was excellent. We made reservations through Open Table and were glad we did - some folks without reservations couldn't be accommodated inside (but could sit at bar or outside -- which would be nice if it weren't so hot and humid the day we visited). My girlfriend and I stopped here to give it a try. We decided to pick quite a few items off of the menu. We ordered the lamb meatballs, roasted mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and baked feta cheese with grilled sourdough bread. We also ordered the shrimp and grits and the crab cake. We did not stop there we also had cocktails and dessert. My favorites were the lamb meatballs as they were so tender and the lamb was not overpowered by the toppings. The Brussels sprouts were also delicious. The shrimp was definitely spicy so the grits helped to tame them. First of all, Milford is such a cute little town and I love the variety of restaurants there! We went to 20 Brix on a Wednesday evening, the place was pretty empty...hopefully they get bigger crowds on the weekends. Our table ordered the baked feta and grilled sourdough, which was a great start to the meal! My husband got the lamb meatballs (loved it), daughter got the airline chicken (loved it), I got butternut squash soup (loved it) and a caesar's salad (meh. wouldn't order again) Before our meal, our group was planning on getting dessert because they looked so good but we were all too full from our meals (and had plenty of leftovers to take home!) We started with wine I got the flight which led to a great discussion of their very nice wine selection. I was offered a couple tastes and the recommendation was spot on and I ordered another glass. We had the baked Feta as an app for the table. Very interesting and my daughter who is not a feta fan had some and loved the pesto mixed in. I went for the lamb meatballs as an entree more of an app but the sauce was so tasty it made an excellent meal. We had planned on ordering the house made deserts but we were too full. 8/23/25 Dinner with wife. This is our 2nd visit. Dinned here with a bigger group last year. Had a great experience then and decided to try it again. It's street parking, but we have found a spot quickly both times. The service is very efficient and pleasant. My friend and I came here kind of spontaneously just because the restaurant we were planning to go to was full and it was an hour wait. Honestly we were glad that we came here instead because the service was really good and the food was good as well. We dined outside on the patio because it was such a nice day. A little bit warm but cool enough with the shade. Our server was really nice and super attentive. We ordered the focaccia bread, the guanciale pasta, chicken Caesar salad, and finished off with the cheesecake with passion fruit. Just to start, I have never written a review (good or bad) for a restaurant in my life. I grew up listening to my parents talk about their experiences at 20 Brix (where they would often go for an upscale meal) and how exceptional they were. I had been to 20 Brix once before for Valentine's Day in 2023 with my girlfriend. I remember having the scallops, and she had a fillet. The meal and service were excellent, and we had zero complaints. Fast forward to last night, Valentine's Day 2026, and my girlfriend (same girl as before, don't worry) and I were able to land a reservation for dinner here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To start, we were sat right by the door, crammed in a corner. I do not fault the hostess for this because she was just doing her job, but come on, can we try to not make the experience feel claustrophobic?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next, we were greeted by our server, who was wearing jeans and gym shoes, which I found a bit odd given the environment, but whatever, I can look past that. We ordered our wine, which was very good as per usual. For an appetizer, we had the BAKED feta. Ohhhh boy, let me tell you that I am not quite sure if they understand the concept of baked. When this arrived at our table, it was essentially a bowl of heated-up feta chunks with some whole tomatoes and a few drips of the "salsa verde" that was advertised as coming with the dish. The feta chunks sat in a pool of milky white watery liquid that was very unappetizing. I don't know about you guys, but I have baked feta before, and it becomes very spreadable and is great for putting on bread, which came with this dish. The cheese itself was still solid, and you could not spread it so you are left to just place spoonfuls on your bread with a tomato and hope the whole tomato doesn't roll off onto your lap. Dreadful. Next for mains, I had the penne bolognese, and my girlfriend had the scallops with mushroom risotto. My bolognese had very little depth of flavor and overall was just flat out disappointing. I wouldn't be as upset as I am if I wasn't charged 30+ DOLLARS for that stuff. My girlfriend's mushroom risotto with scallops was even worse. First of all, it came with only 3 scallops. 3!!!! Again, for a dish that costs 30+ dollars. She describes the scallops as "mid." There were several mushrooms in this dish that were as large as hockey pucks, and the risotto wasn't even fully cooked. Overall, I spent over $100 dollars for some extremely poor quality food and service that left more to be desired. We will never return. read more

Great find downtown Milford. We stopped in for lunch while shopping. Nice wine selection (was excited to see a few favorites from Oregon). The tomato soup was excellent and the perfect lunch sized portion. We tried the charcuterie board as well. The three cheese choices were small but ok and it included olives, fig jam, almonds, crusted bread and some meat choices that did not look appealing. I don't think I'd order this again for the price. We had another great meal at 20Brix. We have dined here five or six times, we enjoy the menu. When the weather is nice the patio is a lovely place to sit and enjoy. My favorite thing was a special of lobster rolls which have not appeared again but bust the myth that specials are just what the kitchen is trying to push. They were so fresh, delicious and clearly special. Recently I ordered the Caesar salad with steak. My steak was so good that hubby stole half of it, one piece at a time from across the table, because he couldn't stop eating it. My salad was fresh, not at all wilted or floppy, and not over dressed. Delicious! I eat a lot of Caesar salad and this is the best I've had in years. Asked if the anchovies were WHITE anchovies and told yes and then reg nasty anchovies came out and the server said the Chef said they were white....um there weren't in white color. The Caesar was ok. The anchovies I didn't eat and still charged $4. We ordered the ribeye steaks which were ok with dry and nasty fries. $50 each...when you could get an amazing steak at Cincinnati Distilling. Ordered espresso martinis and they tasted like brown water and vodka. BEST part was the creme brûlée. Spent well over $225 and I cried thinking I could've had an amazing experience ANYWHERE else. Only went bc gifted a $100 gift card and regret using. Hands DOWN worst restaurant and Chef in Old Milford, our server was nice but nowhere near a server for a $225 bill. The patio is nice. One of the worst dinners we've had in a long time. We came for the mushroom pasta. It's no longer on the menu. Ordered a chicken breast and fries. Chicken tasted like salmon (obviously grilled together) Fries were raw in center. Husband ordered soup and salad. Soup was delivered without a soup. Had to ask 2 more times for spoon before he actually got one. Salad was very dry. Definitely needed more dressing. After dinner husband ordered the mousse and coffee. A place where the food is great, fine wine selection and it's a laid back atmosphere. That meant a lot to me because it's a pain to set up the camera and take it ourselves. After that, we proceeded in then from there it's been nothing but a great experience. Our server was friendly. Told us the specials and didn't rush at all. With the covid virus going on, they definitely took extra precautions to make us feel safe. Hand sanitizers on the tables made me feel at ease. We ordered: -MUSHROOM BRUSCHETTA (Appetizer) Farm Egg. Sourdough. Rosemary Chicken Jus. Whipped Ricotta. Mozzarella (omg! The combo of the egg with the mushrooms was an excellent combo. The balsamic glaze was an excellent finish) -FRIED CHICKEN (I raved about this to my Mr so he had to get it) Braised Spinach. House Bacon. Grapes. Buttered Chickpea Bread. White BBQ. My husband and I are real foodies these days. We've been here twice now and had a fabulous experience both times. We have been able to be seated on the patio which is beautiful, with no wait. The food has been phenomenal. We got the mushroom app which was absolutely perfect. The gorgonzola sauce was perfect - typically I don't love gorgonzola but it was the perfect balance of having the faint taste but not being overbearing. My husband and I met friends, a couple, there. Every burger was significantly over cooked. I'm surprised we didn't return them! Our group ordered one rare, one medium rare, one medium. All were well done and dry. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits. No grits but a fried polenta cake that was on a sweet, tomato-based and tangy sauce. Not good either. 20 Brix is the perfect spot in Milford if you're looking for a nicer meal that absolutely delivers in terms of flavor. 20 Brix has a great selection of wine and the drinks are definitely more geared towards wine connoisseurs compared to a more limited selection of cocktails and beers. I was able to have a fabulous Zinfandel which I find can be difficult to see on a menu. My fiancé and I ended up splitting the steak frites and a crème brûlée and it was the perfect meal. The steak was perfectly cooked with a ton of flavor and the garlic aioli was so delicious they should bottle it. The crème brûlée had the perfect thickness of brûlée and it was so sweet and crunchy and decadent. There was a very small plate splitting fee ($1.50 at the time of writing this). The restaurant itself was on the formal side with the white table clothes and candle lighting, but it still had some personality with the building itself. My lady and I decided on coming here to celebrate our four year anniversary. She had been before but I never had, and the menu looked so good that I wanted to try it. And I've gotta say that the whole experience was absolutely great! We got there a little early and decided to take a selfie outside... Or at least try. But one of the hostesses came outside and very kindly asked if we wanted her to take our pic. After that, we went in, and were seated right away. The place itself is very nice inside and spaced accordingly to the current climate. We browsed the menus for a bit and started with a bottle of Decero malbec and the mushroom bruschetta. The bruschetta was amazing and paired super well with the wine. As for our entrees, my lady got the steak frites, and I got the fried chicken (I heard it was epic, and yes, it was.). Everything went together so perfectly! It was all so good that I couldn't stop eating! By the time we were finished, we had no room at ALL for dessert. Maybe next time! My wife and I decided to visit 20 Brixx in Old Milford for our anniversary dinner this year. [[HIGHLIGHT]]upon entering we were greeted promptly by the staff and guided to a romantic table with views of the Art Affair event outside and candle light on each table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server, Toni , was prompt and attentive providing an ambiance that was relaxing and welcoming. We chose to start with a bodeaux white wine while sampling a shared plate of the lamb meatballs with sourdough bread. I have to admit that this dish is our new guilty pleasure! For our entree' my wife chose the linguini with local mushrooms. This dish was savory and offered three varieties of mushrooms paired with a generous portion of pasta. My entree' choice was the 20 Brixx signature crab cake. First off I should mention that I was a bit hesitant that a single crab cake would be enough for dinner however I was pleasantly surprised to say it was quite filling. The crab cake was moist and succulent to the taste buds and quite intoxicating to eat. This dish was paired with duck fat braised potato wedges, roasted shallots, arugula, piquillo romesco, and a bacon vinaigrette that paired well with the cake and potato combo. The meal was fairly priced for the quality and quantity provided. The establishment's Chef created a culinary dream for our special occasion, and we are impressed. The Restaurants manager and Sommelier, Clay, visited us table side and spoke with us about the restaurants offerings which we appreciated and were happy he took the time to do so. The bar had quite a bit of seating and it is first come first serve. Their menu offers a number of specials, but was not a large menu. Wine and cocktail selection was very nice! Pricing was high for amount of food served. Had the blue cheese, bacon wrapped dates and it was $15 for 3. Presentation was pretty, but I can buy a whole bag of the exact same dates for under $5.00.
