Fries and wings

Stopped in before a concert at Riverbend and this place has show night down to a science. Streamlined menu, fast and friendly service, and delicious drinks. The wings have earned themselves the title of second best in the city and the house made seltzer was the stuff of dreams. We ate outside and even though it was 90+ degrees out, it didn't feel too warm because the area was shaded and had a nice breeze, though fans definitely would have helped.

I really enjoyed coming here. I'm not a huge beer drinker but the server suggested a lite beer for me. The food was really good and I love how they have a lot of space, they also have an outdoor area where you can bring dogs on a leash. I'll definitely be back. Thank you yelp and deadlow for a fun night out !

Stopped by on a week night for a Yelp event and had such a fun time! It was pretty busy but service was great. The venue was really cool and it looks like they have a stand up comedy area downstairs which I'll definitely check out next time. The food was pretty good - the fried pickles appetizer was HUGE so highly recommend if you're hungry. The beer was probably my favorite thing I ordered - I got a blood orange IPA which was the perfect amount of hops and fruit (not too hoppy or sweet) and would highly recommend!

For years my Mr and I been wanting to check this place out. We passed so many times and finally on a Saturday afternoon we decided to check it out. The inside is open, decor and pictures of our city, plant friendly and love the lighting. They have outdoor seating as well. We sat at the bar because we weren't sure if we were going to try the food but ended ordering at the end. They brew their own beers in house. You can enjoy their six pack to go or take home a growler. We decided to start off with a flight. Enjoyed it so much that we ended up ordering more. You can choose your size or beer. 3 oz, 10 oz and 16 oz. We ordered: Asle Lebanese wit Lagos Scandinavian Farmhouse ale Dad Pop juicy IPA Mocha My Day imperial mocha stout Dead Low American Lager Umbra Schwarzbier Pickling And Grinning pickle sour Black Phillip doppelbock Fenix Mexican lager The Viper IPA Personally my favorite was the sour. It's literally drinking pickle juice. Their lager is smooth and refreshing. Honestly I we didn't have a bad beer. All were different and good. We stayed there a couple of hours and got hungry so we thought we would try their food. Their menu had starters, pizzas (you can also get gluten free), handhelds, kids, soups, sandwiches, fish and chips and wings. Food: Carolina dry wings Cheese pizza 8" Wow! The dry rubbed wings was amazing! Had great flavor and the pizza was amazing l. The crust had Parmesan and seasoned. I love their pizza sauce! It wasn't bland. Overall what a great experience. I can see us coming back. Great atmosphere, beers and food.

I don't come here often because it's crowded. I think they have good craft beer, decent food (especially when they have their oyster appetizer), and the service is typically quick. For me, it's very loud inside. I will, when the weather is nice, sit outside on their MASSIVE deck.

This is another one of those spot my lady and I drove by many times thinking, "We should go there sometime." And of course, we finally did, and also wished we had sooner. I'm always a geek for a good local brewery, and after our experience here, this is definitely a really good one. Great service, tasty brews, a laid back atmosphere, and really good food. My lady and I stopped by around 3pm on a Saturday just for a few drinks at first. We sat at the bar which is very nice and spacious. This place has more seating than I thought there would be, both inside and outside, and it's all crammed together. They have their beers in 3oz, 10oz, and 16oz pours. They also sell growlers and 6 packs for some. We started with four 3oz beer pours to try a few things; Lagom Scandanavian Farmhouse ale, Asle Lebanese Wit ale, Dad Pop juicy IPA, and Mocha My Day imperial mocha stout. We really enjoyed all the brews. My lady liked the balance of the flavors of the farmhouse ale. Then we had a couple pints, I had the Umbra Schwarzbier and my lady had the Pickling and Grinning pickle sour ale. We both liked those as well and were very pleasantly surprised by the pickle ale. Around that time, we started getting hungry, so we scoped out their food menu. The menu was pretty big and had lots of pub grub options. My lady decided on an 8" cheese pizza while I went for some Carolina dry rub wings. Obviously we had another round of brews, she got the Fenix Mexican lager and I got the Viper IPA. The wait was a litte longer because this place gets very busy before concerts at Riverbend nearby. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. I would say this is one of the better local breweries we've been to in a bit. We liked all the beers we had, liked the atmosphere, and really liked how close it is to where we live. Not sure if I'd come here again before a concert on a weekend but I could see is coming back for sure.

This place was hoping but we were seated immediately. Our service was great. The food was good. The place is much larger than it looks from the outside. The menu was also larger than I expected... lots of options. It was a hot day before a concert down the road so I opted for the salad. We also had pretzels and beer cheese. Overall - a solid place that I hope to visit again soon.

Our waiter was wonderful, made sure to check in on us at appropriate times, and cleared plates in a timely manner. They currently have a featured spicy honey goat cheese spread to serve with the soft pretzels. It was DELICIOUS! I also had an 8" pizza with sausage and pineapple. It is handmade and oven baked, and very good! They have a great selection of beer, seltzers, wine, and cocktails.

Gluten free pizza with vegan cheese, olives, and spinach

Great meal! I ordered the gluten free pizza with vegan cheese. The waitress was very conscientious and let me know that there is milk powder in the gf crust since she noticed I ordered vegan cheese. That nearly made my whole experience - it's rare for waiters to take the extra step to make sure allergies and preferences are accommodated to. You also can switch out a gluten free bun or roll to any sandwich. The man who was at the hostess stand originally told us that he just seated "a hundred people" and that the food would come out late.. but it didn't at all which is good. Not sure why that was said. But it was fun eating outside and the tables seemed clean! Will be back!

Good brews along the river near River Bend just off exit 72 on I-275. Good beer selection and tavern style food. Parking on site. Staff was very attentive. Lots of seating in and outside. Next door to Pig Candy .

Went here for a lunch break during my brother's baseball tournament. The area was huge and had an ever bigger outdoor seating area! We went of a saturday afternoon, so of course they were busy, especially with baseball fields walking distance. I loved the many different drink options. The drinks came very fast! The food did take a rather long time and we got our appetizer at the same time as our food. The nachos portion on the other had was HUGE and worth the price.

The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. The manager came around and introduced himself to everyone and was all over the place. Helping in the kitchen, bar, cleaning up etc.. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. I'll be honest I wanted to avoid BrewDog and Voodoo and experience home grown Cincinnati breweries, but we were really happy we stopped at Voodoo. Thanks guys you earned a fourth star for great friendly service from the manager and bartenders!!

We ordered extra hot wings, and the sauce was great but to make it "extra hot" they just added a metric ton of hot pepper or some hot seasoning, and it was nearly inedible. They were extremely over sauced. The fries were okay. My dry rub wings were good. It's basically self serve, you order on the website via QR code. They brought our food all at once due to that, to include the appetizer. Service was quick but we only saw our "waiter" once to deliver our food. If we had needed refills, we wouldn't have gotten them. We didn't even get silverware and only got one appetizer plate. The ambiance was nice, it's a great looking facility. I probably won't be back though, unfortunately. Just not great enough to bother going again. We did have one beer off the draft list that was good. The dragons milk.

We had hoped for food, but the business that does food in the building is another company and they were out for spring break. So sad. ;-) The brewery has a nice vibe to it. There is a small taproom with a much larger Oktoberfest styled hall (meaning large community tables). There are plugs here if you work remote, although I would NEVER do that. :P The beers are not the best I had in Cincy, but they are above the average in Cincy, so it is definitely above average. It is also a well-known, stable brewery. I understand Listermann recently sold the spot, so it will be interesting to see if there are changes going forward. The board is a bit heavy at this point, with quite a few brews over 10%. My feelings on the beers? The IPAs are decent, but they shine brightly with their stouts and pastry sours. The blackberry cobbler sour (12%) and Forbidden Imperial Stout got my top marks. Would love to return and see how the food is here, but spring break worked against me. If you go through my profile, you will find I have a couple of hidden gems we found on our trek.

We sat outside to hear the trivia better and enjoy the pleasant evening. You order your drinks at the bar and your food through a QR code on the table you're sitting at. This process was nice, as we didn't have to track anyone down or stare at a menu while trying to order with a line behind us. We got our beers from a friendly bartender, sat, and took our time scrolling through the menu. Our food came together, which was strange as we expected the wing appetizer to come first. The pizza was awesome! The cheese blend reminds me a lot of costcos. The wings were just okay. Maybe I am not a buffalo person, but overall they did not have much flavor. Next time we'll try something else. Prices can add up, but it is nothing crazy compared to places around town. If you want a nice evening with good drinks, good atmosphere, and good food, I'd recommend here.

The layout was pretty typical for them albeit on a smaller scale than their locations in Las Vegas and Columbus. Several bar areas, a gaming mezzanine, couches, art on the walls and a roof deck (wasn't open when we visited). The large L shaped bar was clean and manned by a nice fellow. We headed up to the mezzanine and played some games while watching the 4pm game on their big screens. Food wise - we didn't eat here, but I can tell you from past BrewDog experiences their wings are always on point. Beer wise - They had a good mix on their 24 or so taps - IPA/Pale Ales (8 on tap), ciders (4), stouts & dark beers (3), lagers & pilsner (2), sour & fruit-based (2) and five beers for a community beer festival that was running that weekend. $1 of every pint poured went to charity. I had a Winter Staycation at 7.5% - our seasonal stout that brings rich pecan and sweet toffee flavors right to your glass. Every sip is a warming blend of nostalgia and bold flavors, crafted to remind you of the comforts of the season. If you loved last year's cozy winter release, this one's sure to feel right at home. It was average with sweet pecan flavors, caramel, vanilla, toffee and tasted malts. Drank like a porter. It was OK which is what most of their beers are. Just above average in my humble opinion. From my experiences between BrewDog and Voodoo, it seems the outsiders are better options than the local breweries (except Northern Row they were good) in Cincinnati.
