Man, so sad about this place! Decided to stop in here for my birthday and was extremely disappointed. To start this place is a "sit down" but you have to order at the bar and they bring it to you. We were a tad thrown off with that since they literally had waiters and people roaming around, didn't make sense to me. But that was just the start! We decided to order nachos and a pretzel to start the meal. The pretzel was disgusting, hard and lacking flavor and the $14 nachos was a side plate with a small portion of nachos on it. I asked the server what was with the size of the nachos and he said he though they were normal. They aren't, you go to a normal bar and for $14 comes out a platter with nachos that are loaded. Then our mains came out, my wife's salad was gross, lacking flavor and with dry chicken and my burger was decent. For $90 this meal should have been WAYYY better. Went here for a fun Sunday night meal. Don't let the door deter you, it says it closes at 8 but it closes at 9 and they will take kitchen orders until 8pm. Came here for the first time at lunch for a quick bite in between seeing my clients and remote work. The atmosphere was very nice. I really enjoyed the upbeat music that was playing, and it was not too loud. I must say the smoked wings were absolutely delicious. I could have drank that cilantro ranch sauce! The pommes frites were delicious and served with a spicy ketchup. I love spicy, but if you're not into spicy flavors, it may take you by surprise. Service was awesome and quick! read more

We are no longer beer drinkers really but we thought the food looked good so we wanted to give it a try. Inside is your average brewery. Pretty plainly decorated with a shelf for merch and some TVs playing sports. Kids are welcome. You order at the bar and get a table yourself. They bring out your food. Bartender was pretty friendly, no complaints there. We ordered the Impeachment just to try. It was heavy on the sour, not much peach or mint to be tasted. They did have some Japanese seltzer brand that was really good (the grapefruit specifically). Also got the regular burger and the bbq one with the french fry appetizer. The fry portion was very small and barely shareable. The fries were okay but nothing special. They had some sight herbal seasoning. The ketchup was spicy and tasted weird. The regular burger was pretty basic and we regretted not getting the sauce on the side because it was basically mustard mayonnaise mixture which we don't eat. The bbq burger patty was made well and I liked the sauce but the crispy onions were hard and probably stale. They were not good. Overall we were disappointed and will not return. read more

Ordered food while attending an event around the corner. Ordered a Caesar salad with salmon and was pretty happy with it. The Caesar dressing was thick and creamy but the one servings wasn't quite enough to really be noticed on the large salad. Next time I will order extra dressing. As it was a pick up order, service was quick and efficient - they sent me a text when my food was ready so I wasn't left guessing. When I walked in to pick up my food everyone from bartenders to patrons seemed pretty happy and relaxed, enjoying the sunshine. Neighborhood watering hole kind of vibe and mood. I like but the smoking wings are disgusting dog water taste like there was boiled water no the wings look burnt on the outside but the inside is white no flavors in them. I tested so much wings and never left more than 4 wings on my plate but today I had to. It disgust me they need to do better. I don't know if that's how that smoking Wings are but they need to do better. $44 for two orders what a waste of money. read more

Nine Giant is so much more than a brewery. The food menu is excellent! Everything I've tried has been well seasoned and cooked well. During Lent the menu includes fish and chips which are some of the best I've had! One thing of note: on a recent weekend visit during the dinner rush, there was no one bussing tables except the food runners. This is a restaurant where you seat yourself. Because no one was bussing, no one was wiping down tables either. We wipes down our own table with and saw plenty of other patrons doing the same. Anytime an employee noticed this happening, they smiled and apologized, but never offered to help. read more

Great spot on the Main Street for dinner and beers! You walk in and order at the bar. There's open seating with tables and 2 spots for bar seating. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and I loved the Dijon mustard at the bottom, a unique touch I haven't had before. The strawberry salad was yummy but I felt like needed more dressing. The added chicken had great flavor and was grilled perfectly. The chuck it chicken sandwich was huge and was confused about how to eat it at first - but cutting it up was the best option. Pleasantly surprised. Stopped here after a day at kenwood. This place is in Norwood. About 15 minutes from downtown or 275 corridor. Parking is tough to find but it's well worth the visit. 10 beers on tap. Nice variety of IPA, Berliner's and other styles. No porters. What really sets it apart is the food! I had the chorizo habanero wrap. It was amazing. They say they have the best burger in the city. All chef prepared. The beer was decent. Nothing exceptional or mind blowing but easy to sip. This seems like a recurring theme with me. We usually have to travel out of town to eat somewhere decent. We had a doctor's appointment in the area and afterwards, we were ready to eat. It has been years since we have eaten in this area. We had no idea what kind of food that was on the menu but we were up to an adventure. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, the employee at the bar was friendly and helpful. I had the black bean burger, very delicious. My wife ordered the nachos, not your average nachos. Very good food. We didn't order any beverages because I still had to drive back home and traffic would be horrible. Too bad it would be a long drive back, but this place was nice. What a fun little brewery to stumble upon! My friend and I stopped in here for a quick bite and beer on a Wednesday evening. We had never been to Nine Giant Brewing before, so we decided to check it out, as it's relatively close to where she lives. We were not disappointed. I tend to be more of a sour girl, so the server recommended a few that I may like. He offered me a sampler so I could try some different ones, and all were great. I loved the one I ended up getting, called "Happiness is all the Rage." It had hints of guava in it, which I especially enjoyed. He also helped my friend find what kind of beer she was looking for. Our recommendations were perfect for each of us specifically, and I appreciated his knowledge and excellent customer service overall! We split the soft pretzel to start, and I went with the NG burger. The food was great, but my burger was especially good as it was juicy and fully stacked with a variety of toppings. I usually don't put mustard on my burgers, but this one came with it anyway; I decided to hope for the best and try it. It was DELICIOUS, and I will definitely be back to get another one. I'm not sure what kind of mustard it was exactly, but it really added to the burger. I ended up loving the flavor combo of all the sauces combined in general. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere here. It's on the smaller side, but there are plenty of seating options and the space is very open. Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday a couple weeks back. When you go in you can grab a table and the clipboard menus. Once you're ready to order you can head up to the bar and pay then or start a tab. It is a popular place and doesn't have a ton of seating, so keep that in mind when you visit. I really appreciated the small but diverse menu. I (and two others) got the Steak Fajita Mac N Cheese. It was amazing, cheesy, and pretty filling! Just enough spice that I would say it's spicy and my spice tolerant friend would say she could taste the spice. Went to Nine Giant to watch the FC Cincinnati game and had a great experience. They recently renovated and added much more space to the brewery. Beer here is pretty good but the food is what stole the show. The NG burger was cooked perfectly and had some great toppings (bacon was well worth the extra $2). My buddy ordered the pesto mac and cheese and loved it, so I'll have to come back and try that! read more

I decided to have a date night and try some new breweries in the Cincinnati area. Nine Giant was one of the top ten on Yelp so we decided to check it out. I have mixed reviews. They have a seat yourself where ever there is space and order at the bar type of situation. I am currently in a leg brace, so that was a little inconvenient for me so just be prepared. The beer is pretty good, my boyfriend especially loved the rye IPA (fashion is danger) and I did enjoy the ginger beer (happiness is all the rage). I also ordered the Mexican lager, it was unimpressive. The first two beers were delightful and I would like to try the fruit punch beer if I am ever back. Now the food was another story. I was not impressed, especially with the price. The pretzel was okay but I would not order it again, it was pretty dry and the sauces were nothing special. I also got the burger and was surprised at how undercooked it was especially since they did not ask how I would like it cooked. I typically like a medium/medium-rare burger, but not when it is a surprise. I know a lot of people are very concerned about undercooked meat so beware and be prepared. All in all, I would definitely try some other beers here but would go somewhere else for food. read more

Wow! What a burger!!! Amazing burger - juicy, flavorful and not greasy. The meat to bun ratio was perfect and bun holds up! I didn't need to add anything or change anything. Caramelized onions and secret sauce was complementary and enhanced the meat patty without overwhelming the beef. PERFECTION! Let me start by saying, I did carry-out which is not my preferred method when dining. With that said, the fries were really good even after the drive home. A little salty but good. The rodeo burger was alright, could've used more bbq and I'm sure would taste better fresh but it worked. Unfortunately, the wings were not good. Disappointed that we ordered 3 sets of wings. They were so overcooked, dry, hard; almost inedible. The best way to describe them actually would be if you smoked the wings, basted with sauce during grilling and then reheated them the next day in the oven. The food will be brought to your table. It's a smaller place with high and low top tables inside. During warmer weather, there are tables at the back of the brewery outside.
