this is my boyfriends all time favorite brewery. we have tried almost every beer and are always impressed. We love to come here for a quick stop or for a night out! they also have thc drinks available that are sooo good. We enjoyed playing games they offer during our visit! It seems they have events and karaoke, although we have not attended those yet

I've been a long time fan of tart fruit beers and we finally had an opportunity to visit this taproom. It's located in the basement of an old church, and has a brightly painted wall near the entrance. Inside is mostly wood with old confessionals in the corner. The women's bathroom had a ton of stalls and was stocked, which I always appreciate. When you first walk in there is a "store" area to the right with beer to take and merchandise. The bar is towards the back and has a wall with 12-15 on tap beers. I ended up ordering two flights of beer since I wanted to try everything. I lean towards a very tart and crisp beer. My all time OG favorite is the Spyglass, which is a lemon and lime golden sour ale. It wasn't on tap but available for purchase in a mixed pack. I tried a bunch Peer, Kilobyte, Gadget, Fire Iron, Bushel, Teak, Pickle, Dyne and more. Loved them all, some more than others. I can't wait to go back to load up. If you're a fan or tart fruit beers, or not, it's definitely worth a trip to check it out.

You want to experience the best beer in Cincinnati? You've found the place! Friendly staff. Great ambiance. Eclectic vibe. Always something new to try.

Really cool spot! We are not huge sour fans, but they had some really interesting ones! Ask for the tour of the music venue and the wedding space. Too cool! Emily was awesome! Also dog friendly for now!

Loved this brewery just a bit outside of the city. The bartender was so friendly and helpful when finding a beer we liked. I love sours, which is what they specialize in. My husband doesn't like them as much, but still found a beer he really enjoyed. It's in an old church which is really cool. Highly Recommend!!

Thank god places like this exist! Converted church into brewery? Yes please! And here I thought I would never go to church again lol. Beers are tart which is not my thing but they do sell other bottle beers for people like me. I was here for an women's day event selling my macrame art and it went so well! Vendors and visitors all had smiles on their faces. Maybe it's cuz we can day drink?! My favorite part is the smell of the church especially when they have a bonfire going in the back yard and the smell comes into the inside. Heaven! And I never thought I get there ;) Plenty of street parking but can fill up quickly so go early if you can.

Ginger bread tart .,, with Pata Roja tacos! They don't miss

Date night requires a beer every unit and again. And it doesn't hurt that Pata Roja has made this their new location. It's a win win. Plenty of space and plenty of beer. This is a girls night, date night or a grab a beer Togo kinda evening.

Always like issuing five star reviews to breweries that generate wonderful craft beer drinking experiences. I would have love to have tried more than one beer with Urban Artifact but opportunity allowed one. And the choice made in the one was a good one! We got the Kaleidoscope beer which has Pineapple and guava features to it. It also had an herbal aspect to it and I do so love herbal beers and feel like I don't get them enough. Kaleidoscope was a good beer to relax with and if the opportunity ever does present itself again I'd love to try more of their other beers!

I met my cousin for a beer so we can catch up and decided to try a new brewery. The outside is beautiful. It's an old church and the windows are magnificent. The inside was nothing exciting very dark but they were set up for social distancing. As far as the beer I had to try the pickle beer and I know have a new favorite. It's refreshing with the taste of cucumber and dill. The outside has a great sitting area which now will seat up to eight a table. Glad I tried something new and found a fantastic beer

This place has the best and only sour beers in town! If you like sour beers this is the place to go. Not only for the unique atmosphere of being in an old church but for the most variety of sour beers. The staff is patient and helpful. Will make sure to return

We had a blast hanging out inside of Urban Artifact Brewery with our dog. They have multiple seating options for large to small groups. They do not offer food but sometimes offer a food truck. They have lots of board games in their brewery so plan on staying for a while to have some fun and drink some amazing beers. They have a variety of beers to choose from. They are known for their fruity, sour and tart beers (aka Fruit Tart). Gotta check out their delicious beers, fun games and beautiful venue. This brewery is nestled in the basement of the historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church. They also offer live shows on their Radio Artifact Soundstage. A must place to go with your dog!

Huge fan of sour beers, so this is the place to get them in Cincinnati! You'll need to go elsewhere to get food, however.

Ask the Community - Urban Artifact

    Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are allowed in the outdoor area, but not inside.

Heading here tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if it is child friendly? I know they're "allowed" there but...Like, will I be scoffed at by employees if I bring kids and is there space for a stroller? Around 2 pm- not at night

Yes it is family friendly. Not only are children allowed in the tap room but there a wall with family games!

    Is the taproom handicap accessible?

I've seen people in wheelchairs in the taproom, so yes!

All who had were very complimentary & shared great experiences when we told them we had reserved Pinecroft & the Funky's Catering team. Pinecroft pairs the venue & catering, & Funky's catering is the best in the city - so it's the perfect partnership. The Pinecroft's venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a wedding, however the company that…read moredoes the catering, Funky's has been rather difficult to work with. The food is excellent and they offer many different options. My issue has been with communication with the representatives and a missing dress. When we booked the venue we were told that we (bride's family) would receive the leftover food which we did not receive. It's very difficult when you know for a fact that there was a decent amount left. I had paid extra money to have all of our things packed up and loaded into my car. So I had hoped that the food was packed and loaded in my car, which it wasn't. Then I had left a dress there and called the venue the next day and was told it was found and would be sent to me. It's been 6 weeks and have never received the dress. When I emailed them I was "informed" that it was sent. I contacted them about 1-2 weeks later asking yet again, and was told it was sent and there's nothing they can do about it. Sadly, with what has transpired between the contact person, I am having a hard time believing that something being mailed from Cincinnati to Northern Kentucky would not have reached me a long time ago, even if it got returned to sender, at least they would have let me know. And lastly, I was contacted two days after the event and was told they "forgot" to add a tax onto my final bill which I had paid in full prior to the wedding. They proceeded to tell me since the food being boxed and sent home with me was not written in the contract, that it was basically my fault. I hated doing it, but I said since the tax wasn't written down, that I shouldn't have to pay that. I had gotten so aggravated and to this day, 6 weeks after the wedding, I still haven't received my dress, and plan on never getting it. I didn't complain when we ran out of appetizers for 200 people, especially since I didn't see many of the staff walking around with them. The bride and groom only got 2 of each appetizers and that was it. You would think with 600 "pieces" that there would be enough for people. Everyday up to the wedding was perfect, but with what has occurred since then has left me feeling aggravated.

They have a ton of parking and admission is $5.25 in season and $2.75 during winter months. However, since it is in a another garden then you will have to pay that admission too. I think it is $3. No one was at the gate when I came there, so I did not have to pay it. This garden is well maintained and has lots to see. There is a prairie and nicely paved trails. The highlight of the place is the storybook looking area called Discovery Garden. It has Trolley Garden, a spot were small trains run along the tracks. They had a haunted train and a Thomas train among others, running the tracks. The center piece of the area is the tree house called the Discovery Tree. My small one found it a bit creepy. The house is very nice and in the form of a face. You will find creature (not real ones) in there like an owl, bats, and an opossum. If you look closely, you can see gold fish and tadpoles in the water running past the tree house. My littles also liked the Garden Workshop, which is right next to the tree house. They have a few small animals in there like a turtle, a tarantula, a snake, and cockroaches. Outside of the workshop you can make it rain and pump water into buckets where you can then use it to water nearby plants. The staff that works there is very friendly. Off to the corner of the area is a small pastel colored house that kids can go in and have little tea parties. There is a large wizards hat that kids can play in and a small outdoor amphitheater/storybook area. There is also a misting tunnel shaped like a caterpillar that leads to the butterfly garden. The ground is very slippery through the tunnel because of the mist, so if you do use it, please be careful. Of course the garden has a gifts shop. That is where you pay for admission. They have a small play area in there with a toy train set up and an interactive machine as well. If you get hungry, don't worry, they have a small cafe. I can't speak much about it though because I did not check it out. This was a nice spot for me and my littles. They had lots of fun in the tree house and watching the trains. We spent about 2 hours there. This place is very picturesque and as calming as a place that kids run around can be.
