Pinecroft pairs the venue & catering, & Funky's catering is the best in the city - so it's the perfect partnership. The Pinecroft's venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a wedding, however the company that does the catering, Funky's has been rather difficult to work with. The food is excellent and they offer many different options. My issue has been with communication with the representatives and a missing dress. When we booked the venue we were told that we (bride's family) would receive the leftover food which we did not receive. It's very difficult when you know for a fact that there was a decent amount left. I had paid extra money to have all of our things packed up and loaded into my car. So I had hoped that the food was packed and loaded in my car, which it wasn't. Then I had left a dress there and called the venue the next day and was told it was found and would be sent to me. It's been 6 weeks and have never received the dress. When I emailed them I was "informed" that it was sent. I contacted them about 1-2 weeks later asking yet again, and was told it was sent and there's nothing they can do about it. Sadly, with what has transpired between the contact person, I am having a hard time believing that something being mailed from Cincinnati to Northern Kentucky would not have reached me a long time ago, even if it got returned to sender, at least they would have let me know. And lastly, I was contacted two days after the event and was told they "forgot" to add a tax onto my final bill which I had paid in full prior to the wedding. They proceeded to tell me since the food being boxed and sent home with me was not written in the contract, that it was basically my fault. I hated doing it, but I said since the tax wasn't written down, that I shouldn't have to pay that. I had gotten so aggravated and to this day, 6 weeks after the wedding, I still haven't received my dress, and plan on never getting it. I didn't complain when we ran out of appetizers for 200 people, especially since I didn't see many of the staff walking around with them. The bride and groom only got 2 of each appetizers and that was it. You would think with 600 "pieces" that there would be enough for people. Everyday up to the wedding was perfect, but with what has occurred since then has left me feeling aggravated. read more

5 stars - PInecroft Mansion - is as good as it gets! My daughter and son-in-law got married at Pinecroft Mansion on September 21, 2013. Words can't describe the service and staff at Pinecroft! It was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked into the Mansion (9:00 am) until we left the reception (11:30 pm) we were treated EXCEPTIONAL. Words can't describe how we felt. Every single staff member was super friendly and pleasant and made you feel that you were the only one that mattered for the day. We didn't have to worry about any details - they took care of everything. It has been over a week since the wedding and we are still getting calls saying how wonderful it was; complimenting on the actual venue to how the food was so yummy and delicious. Most of our guest stated that they never had food taste so good at a reception. I suggest every bride-to-be to check out Pinecroft Mansion for your venue. Your ceremony and reception can be held at this facility. You will not be disappointed! You will be so happy you chose this venue and so will your guest! Funky's knocked it out of the park! Pinecroft is an aboutely stunning venue and allowed us to have the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. The mix of the lush, green landscape, rose garden, orhcard, and tall grasses with the vintage masion is unbeatable. The also offer a full service from the day you book to your wedding. Cecelia acted as my wedding planner and help me with design and everything else about the day. I am sure we emailed hundreds of times over the year and a half. I think the only mix ups came when Cecelia became ill and her assistant Randi took over. There were a few things that fell through the cracks in terms of details. But all in all, the day was more than I could have ever imagined. The weather was perfect. Everyone there was so helpful. They always kept us in the loop. After we were married, the wedding party was brought out drinks. When my husband and I went up to the bridal suite for our time away, they brought us drinks and food. From the planners, to the head chef, to the "butler," everyone was always checking and helping to make sure everything was perfect. A truly fantastic experience! read more

We had our organization's Annual Event and Dinner for over 200 people at Pinecroft Mansion and it was fabulous! We have been doing events for years and so many participants told us it was our best event yet. The service, the food (all kosher!), the gorgeous location and the value simply can't be beat.
