They definitely follow the six foot rule with the seating and hand sanitizers are available. The bar is very clean. Growler House has 30 craft beers on tap. Local and known name crafts. I had the Listermann Dunkel and Sonder brewing Puffy Coat (brown ale). Both amazing. Our beer tender was awesome. Very helpful and knowledgeable with the beers. You can get half pours or full pint. Besides the drafts, they have daily specials, beers to go (you can mix, just ask), and growlers to go. Hungry? You can order from O Pie O across the street and they will deliver it to you. My lady and I had been wanting to check this spot out for a while, so I used her appointment at Parlour down the road as an excuse to go for a pint, and I'm glad I did! Any time is a good time for a good brew, right? Great place with a really laid back feel and tremendous beer selection. The bartender was very friendly and super knowledgeable too. There's plenty of seating and all COVID-19 restrictions are fully enforced. Best of all though is that the place is VERY dog friendly. They have 30 craft brews on tap with plenty more in cans/bottles. Have a pint, get a growler/howler, pick from the $3 mystery bucket, or even get a pint to go (in a sealed mason jar). You can even mix/match a six-pack to go. They also have a very nice wine selection. Hungry? Order some tasty goodness from O Pie O across the street and get it delivered for free. That being said, the options they had available were amazing and diverse. If you are looking for somewhere that has deep cuts into beer and different types of beers for everyone's palate that is laid back and quiet, I highly recommend this place. On my visit during Cincinnati Beer Week, more than half of the 30 taps were dedicated to local beer, which I'm hoping is a trend that continues. Beers are served by the pint (or snifter) as well as in a 5 oz "bencher" for easy flight tastings. Obviously growler fills are also available plus wine by the glass too. The inside is very spacious, though only a dozen or so stools are available. Snacks can be bought at the bar and a TV in the corner will likely have your favorite game on. Packaged beer options are also available for purchase and again a solid lineup of locals was available during my visit. During the week they open at 3 (closed on Mondays) and on the weekend it's noon. From what the bartender says, the closing time is a little flexible based on the crowd. read more

Fun little place, friendly service, good beer selection, but the noise level is just plain unpleasant if the house is full. Between the cement floor and the brick walls, there just isn't anything to absorb sound so it all bounces back at you. It's difficult to even talk to anyone who isn't sitting directly next to you, and even then you have to raise your voice, which of course just raises the general noise level that much more since everyone in the place is doing the same thing. The Growler House for me is AOK. They have around 30 beers on draft ranging in all different tastes and styles. The staff is extremely knowledgable and passionate about beer and if you are clueless or overwhelmed they can point you in the right direction. My only complaint is the space lacks character. It's in a brand new almost strip mall like space. They've done all they can to make it look as nice as they could, but the atmosphere / space layout is just not my cup of tea. It's more of a stop have one, head to the next place kinda joint. Hopefully more bizzes will start popping up and draw more traffic to these guys. I visited Growler House last night for the very first time. We had attempted to go when they opened, but we were starving and they weren't yet selling food so we decided to go somewhere else. EXCELLENT NEWS THOUGH! The Growler House has micro-franchised Gilpin's Steamed Grub and you can now get several of their most popular sandwiches right at Growler House fresh off the steamer! We decided to visit last night for Last Call Trivia. I had been perusing their beer list at work, because I often find a large list of beers rather daunting and I like to be prepared. However I was very pleased with how informative their beer menu was at the actual location. So often I find that an establishment with many many taps will only list the name of the beer and maybe an ABV if you're lucky. You really need to know a lot about beer to be able to make an informed decision. Growler House offers a brief description of what type of beer you are getting as well as a color coding system to organize their many different beers on tap. My inner OCD really appreciated how organized their list was. The atmosphere is very chill. The only complaint I have is that with cement floors and a full house it was very difficult to hear. I wouldn't go here on a busy night to have an in depth conversation with someone. Growler House is also dog friendly so be prepared for lots of dogs, some who may or may not be a bit barky at times. All and all Growler House is a wonderful addition to East Walnut Hills! I'm looking forward to making Tuesday Trivia/Beer/Steamed Sammies a weekly tradition! read more

There were 25 different types of local beer on tap, and the bartender was more than willing to give samples to try. There is also a small area with bottles/cans on display for sale. I would give the Growler house a solid 5 stars for service and beer selection. Their bartenders are really friendly and knowledgeable and they give you samples if you want to try a beer before ordering. They have over 20 beers on tap, which rotate regularly. Over half of them are local, which is awesome, and they usually have the latest and greatest seasonal beers on tap. We even tried a honey mead while we were there, so you know they have a wide selection. They only serve chips and pretzels here, so if you want something other than beer you should bring it with you (they allow outside food, which is nice!). I am going to dock them a star though for their prices. The beers here are not cheap by any means. Yes, I realize that some beers have higher alcohol content or are rarer and therefore should be priced higher, but we paid over $15 for a 5 beer flight...To me that's expensive. We also got a mini growler filled to go. We forgot our growler from home (ughhh I know, what were we thinking??), so we bought one there for only a couple of bucks. The growler fills are MUCH more reasonable than drinking there, so we will definitely be back to fill growlers to go. The bartenders are super helpful and have always given me excellent advice. The rotating tap selection is mindblowing - I can't wait to try them all! The food is really tasty here, too. They use this awesome gadget that's like a microwave, but steams the food to perfect deliciousness instead. My favorite is the Not Your Mama Mia's Pizza sandwich - super yum!
