The beer selection here and the hipster dive bar vibe is very fun. I had this Lychee beer there and tbh if not for the draw of my friends to the ramen place nearby I'd probably have stayed until there was no more lychee beer to drink. Worth a visit, and I guarantee you'll find something on the menu that will make you want to order another... or three.

For years my Mr and I talked about going to the Growler House but just never got around to it. I had a hair appointment up the street. My Mr went and checked it out. When I finished, I joined my Mr for a couple of pints. Love the laid back cozy feel to this place. Small yet welcoming. Masks are required or no service. They definitely follow the six foot rule with the seating and hand sanitizers are available. The bar is very clean. Growler House has 30 craft beers on tap. Local and known name crafts. I had the Listermann Dunkel and Sonder brewing Puffy Coat (brown ale). Both amazing. Our beer tender was awesome. Very helpful and knowledgeable with the beers. You can get half pours or full pint. Besides the drafts, they have daily specials, beers to go (you can mix, just ask), and growlers to go. Hungry? You can order from O Pie O across the street and they will deliver it to you. Last and the best part, they are dog friendly! I love this tiny joint! So much to offer and great place to hang out. Me and my Mr found our bar!

My lady and I had been wanting to check this spot out for a while, so I used her appointment at Parlour down the road as an excuse to go for a pint, and I'm glad I did! Any time is a good time for a good brew, right? Great place with a really laid back feel and tremendous beer selection. The bartender was very friendly and super knowledgeable too. There's plenty of seating and all COVID-19 restrictions are fully enforced. Best of all though is that the place is VERY dog friendly. They have 30 craft brews on tap with plenty more in cans/bottles. Have a pint, get a growler/howler, pick from the $3 mystery bucket, or even get a pint to go (in a sealed mason jar). You can even mix/match a six-pack to go. They also have a very nice wine selection. Hungry? Order some tasty goodness from O Pie O across the street and get it delivered for free. This is definitely a great beer spot, and one I'll certainly visit again. In fact, during my second pint, I texted my lady to tell her to come over after her appointment for a pint or two. She loved the place just as much as I did, maybe more. Yeah, we'll be going back again!

Great place for a beer and the bartender was so great. He knew a lot about all the beers on tap and was super friendly to talk to.

This place was not too busy on a Saturday night, and the staff was so friendly, allowing us to try any of the beers that they had on tap that we wanted. Their selection is very impressive! The tables are spread out to allow for social distancing, and the staff all wears masks, the bathrooms were clean as well.

The Growler house is a welcome addition to the growing food and beverage scene in East Walnut Hills. I stop by with a friend on the Saturday afternoon after a late lunch they had a great selection of local read and regional craft beers on draft as well as beer and wine for purchase to take him in addition to growlers. They also color code the beers on draft so if you like hoppy beers it's green if you like another beer it's another color very helpful when you're trying to pick out a beer or two or their sampler has five beers for $10.

Stopped in today to get my 1/2 growler filled for a family x-mas party tomorrow. They had probably 30 different beers on tap, local. Afternoon, they had soccer on, and the scene was super-chill, people hanging, enjoying a pint. Proximity to Myrtle's will be a good thing, welcome to Walnut Hills!

Not crowded on a Thursday night.

I don't drink beer, but I have friends who do. What I like best about this place is that I can bring my dog to hang out. You can order in food from several local spots and enjoy socializing with your drinking friends and dogs. After all, what's better than hanging out with your dog? Oh yeah, and the friends, too. We were here on a cool Thursday night and it was not busy, so was a relatively quiet place to hangout.

Driving around...playing left or right...and ended up at the growler house with buckeye fans...oh boy!!

Almost all the beers are served in 9oz glasses, no matter the alcohol content, with an average price of $8... for a half beer

This place is nice. They allow dogs inside so I will go back. I wish they had better food partners.

We got a cozy nook to sit in and enjoy our beer. I had the Cuppa, which I should have started slower. It was like a fine dessert cocktail and winding down your night. The hard root beer in a can was the way to go, luckily my friend shared! Definitely plan on coming back to take my time and try more beers !

I don't know that there's any way to know this, but they were closed to the public for a private party until 4:00. Not a big deal. We grabbed a tea around the corner and returned after the party ended. This place is great! What a fabulous selection of brews. Even more extraordinary was the massive selection of alcohol free beers. I've never seen anything like it. Though the partiers lingered a bit, we were able to snatch a comfy table for two by the window. It's the perfect spot for two. Unfortunately I don't recall what I ordered, though I'd remember it if I saw it. Mark had a AF beer and he really enjoyed it. I tasted it and it was delightfully unique. The selection of beer to purchase and take away was huge. I intended to return after dinner, but it was cold and I was too ready to go home. The gentleman running the place was super helpful even though he was managing the party and the remaining party guests as they cashed out with drinks to go. We will most definitely return!

Definitely sort by review date as the place seems to have changed significantly from prior reviews…read more My group stopped in pretty late (11pm) on a recent Fri nite in July, 2019. I had never been before and the Turtle (their specialty item) was amazing! It's a tortilla stuffed with burrito-type fillings (choose your meat, they also have tofu) then they encase it in a seared cheese tostada. I.can.not.recommend.this.enough! It is around $9 and pretty big so its a good idea to split one. The beer selection was pretty meh (definitely not a wall of taps). Ended up getting a cheap Hudy Delight for $2 I think. Seating is very limited but you can also order togo from the window. Service was very friendly as she walked us through the menu and made recommendations. Variety of fresh made hot sauces can be added (no charge). Good nightcap spot imho. Would go back. Minus one star for beer selection.

What I did not like is the small space with not enough seating. I know that bars are supposed to be noisy, but for some reason when I left, my ears were ringing. There was not enough seating. They had board games but where are you supposed to sit? I LOVE the selection of beer. It was hard for us to chooose so my husband and I got a flight each (4 for $8.00) 1st Round: Hop odyssey (black IPA) Mamas little pils (Pilsner) Rubaues founders (fruit ale) Roebling porter (porter) 2nd Round: Paw paw (imperial wheat) White arjah (IPA) Xs old crustacean (barley wine) Did not like and my least favorite Out n'about (wheat) Love the quality craft beers that they had to offer. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Clean Restrooms. Street Parking. Reasonable pricing. I don't think I will be returning. Love the atmosphere, but do not like the tight space. Not enough room and WAY too noisy.
