Probably one of my favorite places to come and drink as a WHOLE family. I love that they are dog friendly on the patio so when it's nice outside, it's the perfect place. There is no food served inside, but there is a food truck outside that is open during the summer months and certain other important events. The beer changes often with new and different beers that are brewed. We have been many different days and every time the bartenders are so nice and helpful when we want to try different beers! During holidays and summer they sometimes have art nights and other fun events held there which are really cool to see. I also saw something for yoga inside on sunday mornings which could be a cool thing to check out. Overall a great place to go and I am really happy to have found this place to enjoy evenings and nights.

This is hands down my favorite brewery in the greater Cincinnati area. Tap #2 Mayan Sacrifice is a must try! Being a microbrewery, the taps are always changing. Very cool and welcoming atmosphere, the beers are good and the food truck out front serves some delicious burgers, melts, and sides. Prices are reasonable especially for the food. The bartenders are friendly & attentive.

Darkness Brewing Bellevue, KY drinking Jalapeño Common... excellent everything. Love the vibe of this place

LOVE this place Excellent beers and great food truck! Love the owners and the vibe here... especially the owner's band, Donkey Shades!!!

Such a fun stop! This brewery was close to where we were staying so we swung in for a pre dinner beverage, and it has such a cool atmosphere. The art on the walls is so unique and the patio is lovely on a nice day! Their beer selection has something for everyone, and the names are too fun to pass up. Definitely worth checking out!

Enjoyed their beers and the bartender was super nice! Ambiance was eh but I'd love to check it out again in the summer when we could utilize the patio!

Awesome hometown brewery in the Bellevue/Dayton area. Eclectic walking community paralleling the Ohio river, minutes from Newport on the Levee. Open garage vibe, ample spacious outdoor seating. Food truck available but they do have their own schedule. Around a dozen draft beers and a light, delicious pineapple sage cider. Friendly service, bad ass logo and branding. Excited to go back, love this can be a local, backyard visit. Must go!

Was finally able to visit the bar right down from my house. I have been holding off so many bars due to COVID but Darkness Brewing offers outdoor seating and tasty drinks so I had to join the fun. They have several festive options for you and the crew. They even partnered with Newport Pizza, available for delivery with your drinks. I ordered the Triple Jam Cider and my partner ordered the Blumpkin. Also, the owners are courteous and overly-nice (not a complaint) and the small-business owner dynamic really shines through. They are so friendly and stay on top of cleanliness. Highly recommend.

So much interesting artwork in this atmosphere (check out the bathrooms). The beer was great especially the Mayan Sacrifice. The bartender was very attentive This place reminds me of Pink Floyd/Star Wars theme

Great friendly atmosphere, cool spot to hangout with an outdoor patio and food truck, and perhaps best of all the beer was really good.

Laid back local spot to grab a beer. They also have a food truck right outside. I enjoyed the Pale Ale on draft.

Ask the Community - Darkness Brewing

Can you bring snacks?

I would advise against it. There is a food truck parked in the patio that is usually open and serving some yummy food.

I'm not a huge fan of darker brews, but they do also have lighter options on tap whatever your taste preferences!

Fantastic place to try new beer in cans and TONS on tap! We stopped in for a drink before the FCC…read moregame- it was busy and hopping with fans. Service was fast and the line went quick. We got a cozy nook to sit in and enjoy our beer. I had the Cuppa, which I should have started slower. It was like a fine dessert cocktail and winding down your night. The hard root beer in a can was the way to go, luckily my friend shared! Definitely plan on coming back to take my time and try more beers !

I don't know that there's any way to know this, but they were closed to the public for a private party until 4:00. Not a big deal. We grabbed a tea around the corner and returned after the party ended. This place is great! What a fabulous selection of brews. Even more extraordinary was the massive selection of alcohol free beers. I've never seen anything like it. Though the partiers lingered a bit, we were able to snatch a comfy table for two by the window. It's the perfect spot for two. Unfortunately I don't recall what I ordered, though I'd remember it if I saw it. Mark had a AF beer and he really enjoyed it. I tasted it and it was delightfully unique. The selection of beer to purchase and take away was huge. I intended to return after dinner, but it was cold and I was too ready to go home. The gentleman running the place was super helpful even though he was managing the party and the remaining party guests as they cashed out with drinks to go. We will most definitely return!

Definitely sort by review date as the place seems to have changed significantly from prior reviews…read more My group stopped in pretty late (11pm) on a recent Fri nite in July, 2019. I had never been before and the Turtle (their specialty item) was amazing! It's a tortilla stuffed with burrito-type fillings (choose your meat, they also have tofu) then they encase it in a seared cheese tostada. I.can.not.recommend.this.enough! It is around $9 and pretty big so its a good idea to split one. The beer selection was pretty meh (definitely not a wall of taps). Ended up getting a cheap Hudy Delight for $2 I think. Seating is very limited but you can also order togo from the window. Service was very friendly as she walked us through the menu and made recommendations. Variety of fresh made hot sauces can be added (no charge). Good nightcap spot imho. Would go back. Minus one star for beer selection.

What I did not like is the small space with not enough seating. I know that bars are supposed to be noisy, but for some reason when I left, my ears were ringing. There was not enough seating. They had board games but where are you supposed to sit? I LOVE the selection of beer. It was hard for us to chooose so my husband and I got a flight each (4 for $8.00) 1st Round: Hop odyssey (black IPA) Mamas little pils (Pilsner) Rubaues founders (fruit ale) Roebling porter (porter) 2nd Round: Paw paw (imperial wheat) White arjah (IPA) Xs old crustacean (barley wine) Did not like and my least favorite Out n'about (wheat) Love the quality craft beers that they had to offer. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Clean Restrooms. Street Parking. Reasonable pricing. I don't think I will be returning. Love the atmosphere, but do not like the tight space. Not enough room and WAY too noisy.
